Cool Run Against Fire – March 24, 2013


The BFP Muntinlupa City Fire and Rescue Station will be conducting its 1st ever Fun Run for a cause dubbed as “Cool Run Against Fire” which will commence on March 24, 2013; assembly time will be at 5:00 AM. Runners can choose category between 10K,5K and 3K. This event is in support to the annual nationwide observance of FIRE PREVENTION MONTH.

The starting point for the said activity will be the Corporate Woods of the Filinvest at Alabang, Muntinlupa City. Runners and participants will traverse the Road of Laguna Heights, going thru the surrounding area of Palms Country Club, up to the road passing RITM back to the Corporate Woods as the Finish line/end point.

Security during the activity was coordinated with the Muntinlupa Philippine National Police, Barangay Tanod of Alabang and the Filinvest Security Force.

Proceeds of the said Fun Run would go to the procurement of much needed firefighting gears of our firefighters as well as the needed fund for our annual community service.

Registration Fees:
10K – Php 500
5K -Php 400
3k – Php 300

Inclusive of Singlet. ( Singlet sizes will be subject to availability and will be on a first come first served basis )

Top 3 finishers per category will receive a certificate and a trophy.

3K – 6:20 AM

  1. Like i said sa kabila, bakit nyo sinabay sa OFW run? Dami rin runs at this date. Bawas na agad ang prospective runners nyo.

  2. pd nman toh april eh kahit di na fire prevention month..unti lang tatakbo dito kasi kasabay ito ng big event sa luneta.

  3. The “for kids only” refers to the 3K. Perhaps it would have been clearer if the distances were listed as follows: “3K (for kids only), 5K, and 10K”.
