Following the triumphant execution of last year’s CRC Peñafrancia Marathon, the Caceres Runners Club is once again poised to host the forthcoming edition of this esteemed event. Slated for September 8, 2024, the marathon will span from 2:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in the vibrant city of Naga. The event continues to offer a variety of distance categories, including the 42 km full marathon, 21 km half marathon, 10 km, and 5 km races, thereby attracting athletes from all corners of the country.
This year’s marathon is organized in partnership with the revered Basilica Minore of Our Lady of Peñafrancia, under the guidance of Msgr. Noe P. Badiola, and in collaboration with the Local Government Unit of Naga, led by the Honorable Nelson Legacion. Significantly, this event is officially integrated into the celebratory activities of the Peñafrancia Festival, further enhancing its cultural and spiritual significance.
