Triathletes Huelgas and Mangrobang Wins 2 More Gold for the PH in the 2017 SEA Games

Just today, Filipino triathletes successfully won two (2) more gold medals in the 2017 SEA Games Triathlon event at the Water Sports Complex in Putrajaya.

Clocking in at 1:59:30, Nikko Huelgas was the first to finish the race and continues his stint as the SEA Games Triathlon Gold Medalist for two years in a row.  He was followed by a fellow Filipino, John Chicano securing the silver medal after finishing in 2:03:24

Meanwhile, Kim Mangrobang wins another Gold for the country after beating a Fellow Filipina and last year’s gold medalist, Claire Adorna, to the finish line. Mangrobang clocked in at 2:11:14, while Adorna finished the race at 2:18:58

As of today, the Philippines’ has three (3) gold medals with the first one coming from Mary Joy Tabal’s success in the women’s marathon last Saturday, August 19.
