Defense Techniques against Mad Cab Drivers
The season of long lines at the taxi stands and cab service stalls has finally arrived. Not that anyone’s looking forward to that. It’s also the season of sketchy characters in the person of cab or car service drivers.
The Christmas rush seems to have a weird effect that some of them choose to be naughty instead of being nice to unsuspecting passengers.
I sought the expertise of Dindo De Jesus, Regional Director for Asia of the International Krav Maga Federation, for some advice on how to protect yourself from dodgy drivers.

When you have to take a cab or car service, always stay alert. If something makes you feel uncomfortable, ask the driver to stop the car and get off. It might just be your wrong impression, but it’s always better to err on the safe side.
