Kase nga Po first time Lang mag gym

      • one time joining fee meaning ISANG BESES MO LANG SYA BABAYARAN.

        first payment mo is
        1K joining fee
        2500 fob key
        2500 monthly payment
        —————-
P 6,000 ang unang bayad mo

        Next month
        P 2,500 na lang since

since onetime payment lang ung fobkey and joining fee.
so for the next 11 months youll be paying 2500 only.

    • I had a trainer before with AF and it cost me more than 10K for 12 sessions, with each session lasting for an hour. I’m really not sure how much the exact cost was because I paid for it in one go and I just really wanted for someone to assist me since at the time, I didn’t have any experience using gym equipments. If you don’t have a gym buddy and if you’re fairly new to the gym, I highly suggest that you hire a personal trainer, especially if your main goal is to get lean and to build muscle via lifting weights. After the 12 sessions were up, I didn’t renew my trainer subscription since I was already able to perform complex weight exercises on my own. Hope this answer helps! :)

    • May coaches po na maggaguide kapag group sessions like yoga, HIIT, zumba, circuit, etc. A personal trainer (someone who will create a plan specific to your needs) has a separate rate. You have to pay 2500 x 12 months (full if paying cash or through monthly deduction via credit card) to be a member. May 12 months lock-in period, which you can freeze for up to 3 months if you’re gonna use the gym. Yup, medyo mahal. Gonna try it, though. I’m desperate. Sana worth it.

Hoy dont be so cheapskate, theres no such thing as P2,500 a month with trainer, you are not special, and you are NOT worth anyone’s time!

      • Rude and entitled people like you ang tunay na walang alam sa fitness or wellness. Halatang wala kang wellness kasi mentally ill ka.

      • Clearly, money can’t buy you class. How is it so hard to answer nicely? clearly bago sila sa fitness lifestyle or baka magbabago pa lang, at least they are trying to learn, dun ka rin naman nag simula diba? di ka naman nag simula na alam mo na agad lahat ;) Be nice, you never know what the other person is going through. Arsehole.

I’m sure isa ka sa mga egoistic, feeling-rich kid, feeling-smart muscle men na nakakasalamuha ko. Yung andaming muscle pero walang laman yung utak at puso. ZZZuuup Johnny Bravoooo.

      • Hi Evan! Is this true? Others say that you must pay additional for a trainer. I’m confused po. Will wait for your answer and thank you in advance.

  1. 12-month membership of 2,500 Pesos per month. Now this phrase here is very misleading. You should’ve just put 2500 per month.

Anyways. So all in all it’s 5000 ?

    Key fob – 2500
    Monthly fee – 2500

Should I also pay 1000 ? It’s just for those who wanna try it once ?

  3. For the guys na namamahalan, i think mas mura na nga siya compared sa ibang premium gyms eto yung mga nakita kong pros

    – accessible anytime
    – kumpleto sa gamit
    – maluwag, di magaagawan sa gamit
    – equipments are very well maintained

With that being said, AF isn’t for everyone. I train for strength/powerlifting kaya kelangan ko yung olympic equipment that can help with my form. And so far AF pa lang nakita ko na meron, i’m still looking for alternatives tho.

    • I asked recently about their rates / process; FOB is for any branch but you have to pay the monthly fee at your “Home Gym” / Original Branch.

      • For new members, or magmemember pa lang, you have to take note NUMBER 5 of TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

CONTINUING MEMBERSHIP siya. Meaning for a 6-month contract, you have to inform them month before your contract ends para hindi na macharge sa credit card. This is except for 1-time full payment for 6 months…

Pag sinabi nila na automatic stop charging sa card after “x” months contract, wag kayo maniniwala… 🙂

  4. I have here key fob with 6 months membership. Hindi ko pa na register. I’m selling it. I have two of these na kase. Please reply if interested

  5. I read n laht ng comments and it helps lalo n s magtatry and mghhnp ng bagong gym.. Ang di lng clear skn is ung membership fee..

Yung s fob n 2500 po b ay membership lg un + the monthly fee n 2500?? So in first month mo 5k and for consecutive month 2500 nln?

    Can someone make this clear????

    • @Janel FOB key is just a one-time payment of Php 2,500. This will entitle you to access all AF branches after activation. Your first monthly payment would most likely be Php 6,000 (since there is usually a one-time joining fee of Php 1,000—unless this gets waived depending on the gym’s current promotion.)

If I were you, I’d research & compare each branch’s promo before making a decision ;)

    • I recently joined. 2,500 the fob, 2,500 monthly membership fee. But may promo sila currently na waived the first month na membership fee so I just paid 2,500 all in all and it’s inclusive of two personal trainer sessions

  6. Ask ko lang po. Sa babayaran po ba na yon, 2500 or 6000 diba for 1 month na po yun? Pwede po ba yon everyday mag gym or once or twice a month lang po?? Just asking lang po.

  7. I just started this week. This is how they explained it to me….. ang actual membership ay 6,000. That includes the keyfob and the first month. Ang monthly payment ay 2,500 pesos.

Nung nagenroll ako may promo sila na 1 peso membership fee and free one month. Kung ayaw mo maging member pero gusto mo magvisit from time to time ng gym… pwede naman. Ang fee nga lang ay 500…sobrang mahal. But you can stay there for as long as you want.

By the way, you might be wondering kung ano yung “keyfob”. Maliit sya na purple key. Nakasabit sa id lace. Mahal sya (2,500) kasi sya yung susi para makapasok ka sa gym anytime (maski anong oras… umaga, gabi, hapon, madaling araw and anywhere…metro manila, province, abroad. It serves as proof of your membership. Pag nawala yun… you have to buy one again which costs 2,500 (as of today 2020).

    • Thank you so much these details, it’s very helpful. I’m planning to join as soo as the quarantine is over. Thanks 😊

  9. Membership fee is 1k one time payment +2500 key fob if u want to access any AF branch also one time payment dn? and the monthly fee is 2,500 with trainor na tama ba?

  10. Hello po, if sa payment po pwede po ba through debit card? or kailangan po talagang credit card? I am yet to try their free one day trial tomorrow.

From what I have read on the above comments, basically, I would have to pay for the
    1,000 Joining Fee,
2,500 for the Key fob, and
2,500 for the first month (which is the monthly payment)
    ______
6,000 all in all for the membership.

Now for the personal trainer, I have no idea. Would anybody mind telling me?

  11. yung monthly fee of P2.5k is for the use of gym facilities only. separate pa ang fees para sa personal trainer.

May iba’t ibang packages sila depending on the number of sessions na kukunin mo. The rates for the personal trainer depende sa package na kukunin mo (depende sa number of sessions). Rates start at 900/session down to 800/session ng PT for 30 sessions, kaya lang one time payment yan.

  12. Im from Cavite nag inquire ako kaso d nila ako bnigyan ng Rate. Pero they are inviting me to visit the gym to discuss and may 10% discount daw if taga Cavite.

  13. 1k Joining Fee
    2.5k Key FOB
    2.5k Monthly fee

So initial payment mo is only 6K if Credit card.

If Cash ka, you’ll need to pay the 1 year upfront, so 30K (2.5k * 12) + 3.5k. Though I think may promo sila minsan where they waive the joining fee? I think minsan waived din keyfob though I’m not sure.

Offer sakin initially was 29k pero I managed to get it down to 27k, I’m not sure how the whole conversation went down.

Ang prime appeal lang talaga ng AF is 24/7 siya, so like if call center ka or may job ka na graveyard shift, appealing siya.

Usually pasok ko is 2AM pero by 10PM nasa lounge na ako ng office since malayo commute ko. In those 4 hours I can squeeze 2 to 3 hours of workouts every day since nasa same building yung AF sa office ko.

Consider mo nalang na if busy ka sa trabaho, magagamit mo lang yung other gyms sa day off / weekends. I’ve tried cheaper gyms, kaso di sila open 24/7, dirty ang equipment nila and masyado malayo sa home/office.

I think worth it naman yung pera, madami sila sa equipment so malaki ang progress na magagawa mo in just 1 year.

I know people who literally switch/upgrade phones every year for minimal improvements for like 20k to 30k. Di worth it na mag upgrade ka from Snapdragon 865 to 888, sobrang liit na improvement lmao.

Better spend that money to improve your health, mas mahal yung mga hospital bills sa 30k.

    • Hi! Wanted to ask what branch this is. Wanted to do a full payment din pero almost 40k yung babayaran ko. 27k for a year is a good deal!

  14. Hi. Is the rate still the same for July 2022? I’m planning to drop-by the branch in Solenad to inquire as soon as I can. The 30k yearly fee is borderline expensive for me but is amenable (it’s also a good motivation). Thank you in advance!

  15. Been with Fitness Industry for too long now, mapa bakal gym or classy gym kapag beginner ka most of the gym my free session/briefing, pwd ka mag ask ng assistance para sa do’s and dont’s sa mga mga trainers na available, discrepancy mo na kung papayag ka sa offer nila once na inalok ka nila ng PT (Personal Trainer). About sa 2500php monthly, hnd mahal yun 2500 / 31day = 80php per day session. Medyo mahal sa bakal gym pero good condition, clean, nasa aayos ung mga equipment at some are advance pa na wala sa bakal gym and 24/7 open si AF kaya sulit yan kung beginner ka na naghahabol magpalaki ng katawan in 3 months spand.

  16. Hi! Hope someone can answer my question— Say you opted for the 6-month membership first, then natapos na, if I go for a new 6-month or kahit 12-month membership, will I have to pay for the Key Fob and Joining Fee again?

    Thank you!
