To all Nike Organizers…. mga Pare ko, mga Wise na ang mga runners na sumasali sa mga “overpriced” running event na ganito… you pay 1K bucks for a 10K run and what do you get in return? all delayed and empty freebie promises. I joined and ran the Nike We Run 2011 & I should know because I was one of the “victims”of the “empty promises”… I didn’t receive the USB.. tapos for the start magulo na ang pag claim ng racekits.. So fellow runners, think before we run in this Nike We Run … sorry guys, it’s my “city” I’m from the south…

    sumali ako dito last time…maaga ako nag register nun… Nung nilabas na ung finisher token at close na ang registration, ang daming naging interested… panay request to open registration ulit… paayaw ayaw pa, gusto din naman pala. hahaha…i think runrio learned their lesson from last event…not sure though.haha

  3. Kasabay nito ang QUEZON CITY INTERNATIONAL MARATHON. Start na ang registration on MONDAY! isip isip kung saan ako tatakbo mas mura sa QCIM

  4. When I checked how nike singapore is handling the race kit distribution, dami reklamo sa shirt sizing ng mga participant. Dami gusto magpapalit ng sizes. Sana naman di mangyari sa nike manila yun.

  5. Pass na ko dito… maraming negative feedback tapos may age category pa. SMDC Quezon City International Marathon nalang ako Tatakbo.

  7. i joined last year’s NIKE WE RUN MANILA together with my cousins. sobrang daming tao, they didn’t do it in waves so, walkathaon ang nangyari eventually. medyo madilim and rocky na yung ibang race track, which made it difficult for us. another thing, we didn’t receive the promised NIKE FLASH DRIVE (2GB). they gave us this letter stating their apologies. after 6mos of waiting, my cousin & I received the USB, however, when checked if functioning, well, not at all. so, i just have it hanging as a key chain instead. well, hopefully this year’s NIKE WE RUN MANILA will be a success. still contemplating if this run is worth the money.

Okay.. my boyfriend and I registered last night at Trinoma. it cost us p2400 (2 ticket cards for over 25 years old), my friend did the same but registered for a buddy run for only p1400 – for 2. they were both over 25 years old also. I want a p1000 refund! i guess HONESTLY is not the best policy. lol

  9. bakit sa nike moa wala daw pong buddy run? so kahit below 24 kami ng kasama ko di namin na avail yung 700 each.

    mag papapress release na meron buddy tapos pagdating mo sa reg site wala naman pala.

  11. I just feel there is someone below 24years old who will register for a multiple registration, then they will sell the 800php race kits to 1200php before the end of registration. Nike Philippines be conscious baka gawing negosyo ang registration fees!

  12. Kakatapos lang ng Nike run malaysia. Grabeh complain nila as usual sa buggage claim parang yung nangyari sa atin lastyear. +umulan pa daw.

  13. Wow! Ang mahal! Hope di na maulit ung last year… Parang fiesta ng quiapo… D reason why para mag collapse ang pinsan ko sa finish line! And dalin sya sa st. Lukes at ma charge ng 30k for only 6hrs of stay in the hospital… More than 10 kami sa family na tumakbo… At isa lang nakatangap ng usb… How come e 1 address lang ang naka lagay sa registration form namin… May mali sa mga organizers ng run nato… Gud luck sa mga first timers ng nike we walk manila este nike we run manila… Dami tuloy extra usb ng mga nagorganized d2… Disaster run to talaga! Pass muna kami =]

  16. bkit kaya ganun. halos karamihan ndi umabot ung usb flash drive. or ndi lang nagcocomment ung mga nakatanggap.. ako kasi 2 natanggap ko. ndi ko alam kung bakit…tingin ko kahit 1200, sulit pa rin sya… meron ka water bottle and 2 authentic nike shirt (tech shirt and fin shirt)… kung bitn ka naman sa 10k, why not run 10k or more bago mag start ung actual race para mataas ung mileage mo… just saying…

    @Paul, sa Quezon City International Marathon nalang kayo sumali. Sabi nga ni Angel.d.saint nasa list ng Runners’ World Phils. ang QCIM as 1 of the 8 best races to run locally.

    Kapag kumunti ang nagregister sa NIKE RUN they will realize their mistakes at baka ibaba nila yung REG. FEE at alisin yung Age Limit.

    Coming from you, it only shows na failure talaga yung distribution of freebies kasi some received more than one usb kaya nawalan yung mga iba.
    Running is free. So each runner has the freedom to choose kung san nya gustong tumakbo, marami namang kasabay na events na pwedeng pagpilian.

    as for nike run…hmmmm…well ive got a few more weeks to go to decide if it’s worth the price :)

  27. Saw the race shirt for this event in Nike Robinsons Ermita, v-neck for ladies while round neck for men with runner’s number printed on the shirt. A water bottle is part of the race kit. Finisher shirt (cotton) will also be given to runners who’ll finish the race within 2:30:00, according to the staff in charge of registration. Just sharing!

  28. hala!!! nauumay na ako tumakbo sa MOA…. di ko nga alam kung papano ko tatapusin yun 15k (3 loops!!! *nakaka suya*) sa adobo nite run which will take place at MOA rin…

    so definitely sa CIHM ako tatakbo and kung kaya pa ng strength ko takbo rin sa QCIM…. both for 21k…

    PHP 1,400 – BUDDY 1+1 UNDER 25 (24 years old and below as of race day)
    we were at trinoma yesterday to avail this promo, we are both under 24 yrs old, but the sales clerk said that this promo are for UNIVERSITIES only. Nike should have advertised this correctly. Sayang nagpunta pa naman kami dun as buddy. di naman stated na pang SCHOOLS lang yun. Nakakabawas tuloy ng credibility ng NIKE ito.

  33. nice shirt just check the actual tee at robinson ermita. guys american size ang shirt so just double check your sizes and u can wear the display para sure ang fit. if ever n gusto paplitan ang sizes, e mail lang kayo s nike para mapalitan ang preffered size.

This run is for fun runners and serious runners should join QCIM… 1200 = nike hydration bottle, nike tech shirt, nike finisher shirt and surprise item/token… kahit wala na ung last item, sulit pa rin… and i’m sure patatakbuhin to in wave,just like what they are doing now sa mga run united events nila pag sobrang dami ng nag register…

    I have a friend n nagparegister n sa nike outlet pero hindi pa nya nkuha ung shirt, ang sabi sa kanya my schedule..
    Ung info na 1400 for buddy 1+1 (24yr/o and below).. Pag dalawa kayong magpaparegister 700each nlang ang reg fee, pero both should be 24y/o and below ang age..

    Waiting muna kame ng feedback from nike din sa iba pang details..

  61. Tama si Cervelo. Why can’t they make it as simple as pagbayad mo registration you get your kit (singlet, bib etal). Hassle pa puntahan mo uli just to get the kit. I can say na sulit na for the price of registration fee may singlet, water bottle, finisher shirt etc ka na but not all registrants are from m.mla or near the claiming of the kits. extra gastos uli to get them . Bakeeet?

  62. sino ba organizer nito? mukhang walang pag asang bumaba ang reg fee nito. kung authentic nike shirts ang makukuha, sulit. e pano kung low grade fabric ang ibigay nila? yung water bottle, black ulit. ibahin naman sana nila yung kulay

  68. @dong dude tama ka. kaya iba date ng shirt pick up kasi printing pa ng number. tinawanan ko tong run pero yun makita ko shirt parang gusto mag join. ganda eh. hahah! same quality kasi w/ regular dri fit unlike dun sa new balance run, iba quality nun free shirt sa regular tech shirt ng NB.

In my opinion..kaya mura ang registration fee ng below 25 yrs old kac mostly ang mga nsa ganyang bracket ng age are students, ung iba nagsstart plng mag work..unlike sa mga above 25 kinonsider na mas mataas dahil may trabaho na nga..kaya binabaan ung price sa mga below pra makapag participate sa race sa affordable na price..:D

    Bakit magkaiba ung registration ng under 25 and over 25? Ano po pinagkaiba? 10k lang naman din ung tatakbuhin ng lahat tas parepareho lang ung makukuhang finisher’s item.

    Unless na ung over 25 is makakuha ng ibang finisher’s item, iba ang race kit sa under 25 – deserving sa registration fee na 1,200.00…

    PLEASE Nike We Run Manila 2012, sana po masagot ang inquiry ko po…

  85. nike’s priority target market now is students and under 24 years old that’s why they decided to lower the cost of under 24y/o. anyway 1200php is worth it for running enthusiast coz we know how much the nike apparel cost plus authentic nike finisher shirt etc. sorry for those whiners who didn’t received any usb from last year race..

  86. to all runners who cant afford this run, pls. visit 1st. HEROES RUN 2012 also on dec.2, mas mura, may medal and nice singlet. and take note, nice venue.new experience ito. ang events; 3k-400php, 5k-5php, 10k-600php, 21k-750php…

  90. Stated Nov 19-22 claiming of race kits. Sa BGC lang ba yung location or pwede rin i claim sa ibang Nike branch? What happens if you weren’t able to claim your race kit in the said date? Medyo hassle lang din kase mahal na nga registration tapos gagastos ka nanaman para lang i claim yung race kit na binayaran mo na.

  94. I Ran Manila last year and I will definitely run again on Dec 2. I’d say magulo talaga yung Nike We Run last year aand yes parang walkathon sya dahil super dami ng participants at isang wave lang ang ginawa. Disaster ang baggage counter at walang finisher’s kit at the end of the event (but I did receive my USB after 2 months if I remember). Epic fail to others but for me it was still a FUN RUN!! Sa singlet pa lang and tumbler sulit na yung reg fee plus with free concert pa after (though di ako nanuod). With regards to the USB, my sister didnt also receive hers, we assumed that they had a cut-off that’s why. So for those who didnt receive their USB, baka naman super tagal nyo natapos yung run? :P I’m not trying to depend Nike or something but if you really want to run then run and enjoy it. Enough about the whining, may kamahalan nga sya pero wala naman pilitan dito eh diba. Sa mga tatakbo kitakits ;)

    so nag ask ako paano ang buddy system.. above 25 ako and may gf is 24.. nung nagregister na ako parang 24 years old and below eh mga students.. i paid 800 for my gf and 1200 sa akin..

    ayos lang din.. runner’s shirt ng nike magkano na.. kung matapos mo magiging dalawa na dri-fit mo.. worthed naman at saka NIKE nga.. hehehe..
