  1. d ko po mkta un result ng akin 17809 po un bib number ko thx hope you can help me ^^ and BTW KUDOS to all runners and the ORGANIZERS looking forward to join the nxt hyundai race ^^

  2. Hyundai Run… Totally Fun

Considering it free! Singlets and timing chip included… And they gave bottled water on hydration station (hope other race organizer will do the same)… No hassle because of the many race marshal giving up the drinks… you can speed up while getting your bottled water!

Well… the venue doesn’t offer much of parking space… the distance for 10km is a little bit long… others say they find it hard to claim their baggage…

    Overall: THUMBS UP!

We are truly grateful HYUNDAI.. Love it!

anyway, very good run for hyundai! first time, but no regrets. :)

  5. Thank you so much Hyundai….till next year kita kits ulit……I appreciated the bottle collectors ang galing walang kalat sa daan….great job and fun run talaga…mainit lang ang start ng 5K runners pero sulit naman….sarap ng shower pati hehehehe

    next year ulit!

  7. Thanks Hyundai for the great run. Very organized, nice hydration with personalized bottles, lots of marshals and medics to ensure the runners safety. Ang linis ng Roxas Blvd pinaghandaan talaga. Meron pang panggulat na flash mob with confetti effect, bongga talaga! Pwede naman pala magpa race ng FREE but very organized. This is a challenge to other companies out there. The only bad side is yung baggage area medyo magulo. But it’s just a minor thing. Over all two thumbs up to Hyundai!

  8. congrats to HYUNDAI!

    – bottled water
    – nice singlet
    – run for a cause
    – shower in the finish line (love it)
    – confetti (cool)
    – band w/ universities’ cheering squad
    – talagang FUN RUN

AND THIS RUN IS FOR FREE!

    Thanks HYUNDAI!

  9. Thank you Hyundai for once again proving that a free run need not be below the standard of what a good, hassle free run should be. Once again you covered the basic necessities in an organized run and more! The provision of bottled water is another great innovation from your team as it limits unwanted “kalat” as runners are bound to hold on to them till almost the finish line. Or those that left scattered were covered by the recyclable collectors as they are more commercially appealing than the cups.

The problem with the baggage can be understood in the light of the number of runners and the size of the booth. Though they should have numbered the first few lanes as 0-500, 501-1000 and so forth and not 0-1000 leaving most of the runners congested to the first few lanes. Calling out bag numbers not only ensues chaos but confusion as well. But my many experience manning the baggage counters of various runs for a cause would tell me that such was unforeseen and, given that those manning such were mostly youngsters and non-runners, are wont to be uncontrollable. But lessons must be learned.

Over-all a very great running experience for all of us once again!!!

  10. THANK YOU HYUNDAI FOR A FREE RUN :)

-super naloka lng talaga ko sa baggage counter.. pag deposit at pagclaim sobrang tagal.. pag claim mo pa.. ay may free lupa ung bag mo.. :D

-i always get water at the 2nd water station.. tapos un lng.. di sya malamig. so i turn it back nalang.. pero dun sa 3rd water station..malamig na.. and the crews had the bottle on their hand sa road para mabilis makuha ng runners.. ang galing.. di mo na need mag stop para kumuha kasi sasalubungin ka pa nila para magbigay ng water.. “E2 MAM/SIR WATER. MALAMIG OHH!” :)

(PLASTIC BOTTLES LANG :).. joke!) magaling! magaling! :))

-a great marshalls on the route and they always cheer runners to push more :)

:) haha.. feeling winner :) and saw the nice cheer dance of different universities! ang galing :)

-next year ulet hyundai!! :) daming smiles nung araw na yon :)

  12. Ang saya neto Run na to..
About 26,000 participants/ runners! San ka pa?

    Maraming Salamat HYUNDAI!

    PS.
Ang daming bumabatikos sa baggage claiming.. hehe.. Thinking sa ganung dami tao mahirap din nmantalagang imanage (di maiiwasang magkagulo at siksikan kasama pa init ng panahon) pero sa base sa experience ko kahapon, I claim my bag just a matter of 2mins..

  13. Thanks Hyundai!!! Such a great run! So much fun! Great job! Keep it up!

Had only a comment on fellow runners.
Have enough discipline in claiming your bags… You guys keeps on complaining but you don’t even know how to impose discipline in claiming… Tsk tsk!

  14. Congrats sa Hyundai & sa organizer!
at sa lahat ng runners…saan ka pa libre na well organized pa, well hydrated and safe route. Wala talagang sasakyan sa ruta

galing nung mga cheerdancers, buhay-na-buhay ung sayawan talagang nakakahawa ung energy!

  15. thanks hyundai^^
na-enjoy namen ng mga co-workers ko yung run for the second time on it’s second year and hopefully my next year pa…..
    Great job!! two thumbs up!!

    to other runners
wag na magreklamo free run naman to ehh..
dami pang bad comments nakalibre na nga! duhh… >_<

  16. 2 thumbs up ako sa Hyundai for doing this run for a cause.

    3. Mahirap bang hawakan ang water bottels until you see someone na kukuha sayo nun? i mean the scavengers ng water bottles, they were all over the race route. nakatulong kana sa kanila, pati sa daan dka pa nagkalat.

I enjoyed the event…Kudos to Hyundai and Run organizers!!!

  18. Salamat Hyundai !!!!

  19. it was a great run!

  20. Thanks Hyundai for a nice and well-organized run. Sa dinami-dami ng participants I expected na magiging chaotic ang baggage counter kaya di na ko nagdala ng bag, pero buti nga may baggage counter pa, sa Milo nga 10K and up categories lang ang may baggage counter diba.

Abundant ang water, and the marshals manning the hydration stations were very alert, they will handle you the water instead of letting you get it yourself which is good para maiwasan din ang hoarding.

Di makahataw sa takbo sa dami ng naglalakad sa pag-converge na ng 10K and 5K, kaya ni-let go ko na isipin ang PR and just enjoyed the run, besides yung 10K category is almost 11Km na.

Again, kudos Hyundai! Lakas nyo, to think na free ito at yung south and north bound lanes ng Roxas ang pinasara nyo, yung mga ibang mahal na patakbo di magawa yan hahaha.

  21. great run. organized despite the 26,000 registered runners.

mainit lang talaga un panahon. would have helped if gunstart was done earlier. mas ok ren if hydrations were spread apart more. i think sa 10k 3 stations lang un total.

distance was 10.78 kms accdg to my Runkeeper GPS. almost 11k na ren. :)

  22. super thank you to hyundai \m/ really enjoyed rocking and partying nung concert with pep squads. wet and wild eh hahaha

  23. Thanks Huyndai!! The best talaga ang fun run. Well organized, and Best staff. More power to HYUNDA. Thank you and Congratualations.

  24. I’m ok with the run, although I have to dodge those snail-pacers to gain momentum, hehe. I’m also fine without the singlet, it’s design looks gay naman. Overall assessment, it was good, and nobody got hurt. Next year ulet. BTW, kuripot sila sa tubig this year, hehe, naapektuhan ata ng summer heat?

  25. Ok talaga tong HYUNDAI RUN,

pero ok talaga, sulit at sana meron parin next year!

  26. Great run! Sana next time itapat sa races ng Run Rio and other ridiculously expensive fun run para malugi sila! :)

  27. It was such a great run! Thank’s Hyundai for making my first fun run experience truly worthwhile! Good thing I didn’t bought a bag, just stuffed my extra shirt on my ADIDAS hydration belt. The pep squad’s were awesome! The band also gave out an energetic performance! The confetti’s indeed made you feel like a winner and lastly, the firetruck that hosed the runners at the finish line was also cool. Although, I ended up dodging the water since I have my cellphone on me lol

  28. We parked at Harbor Square CCP Grounds then walked going to Quirino Grandstand along Roxas Blvd kasalubong mga runners. Buti umabot at sakto for Wave H of 5K run. All in all it was a great HOT event. 5K route tally for 4.86Km only. :-)

  29. yun naman! bib number not found! haaist!

thanks to HARI,inc. see you again on 2013! ;)

  30. Thanks Hyundaifor making my first fun run experience truly worthwhile! Here’s why: Was able to locate my group (grp E) without any difficulty! Overflowing hydrations in a bottle! Marshalls that would inform you of the U Turn mark! So many visible medics and ambulances! Firetrucks that hosed the runners at the finish line! Entertainment by flying pep squads (superb!)sounds from an energetic band! a blast of confetti’s to mark the success of the event! let’s do this again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  31. @ I Trigunn007 agree with u , sakto nga pag dating ko sa baggage area hawak na ng marshall ang domo bag ko. Thanks hyundai talagang run for a cause…

Back to reality na naman tayo bayad uli ng registration fee. hehe…

  32. Patience is a virtue, wait lang tayo sa results guys, they might be having a hard time compiling the results of almost 20,000+ runners.

  33. We had a blast sa Hyundai Run, it was also my birthday run. Waive A kami ng 10k, and para hindi masayang ang pamasahe, and still early to go homenaman kaya nag another round kami ng 10k. The second part was great although medyo mainit na ang araw, but the roads are still closed, marshalls were still there and hydration station.

Although nag open na rin ang roads to motorists good thing malapit na kami sa starting point by that time.

I’m sorry to hear doon sa mga problema sa pag claim ng bags, expected na talaga siguro iyon due to number of participants. We reached the baggage area around 8am plus, and I was surprised to see na ang dami pang taong nakapila sa baggage counter, good thing sandali lang kami nag stay sa baggage area.

    See you next year Hyundai!!

  34. @City_Runner:

    Yiiiiheeeeeeeeeee!!!

  36. Galing. Very organized.
Tama ang spacing ng hydration stations, laging may katabing first aid station.
    May mga ambulance din.
Simpleng route lang, perfect for beginners and kids. :-)
Higit sa lahat, no kalat! Except for one pasaway runner I saw na tinapon pa sa gilid ng kalye yung bote nya samantalang wala nang 5 meters away yung next trash can, all the runners I saw disposed of their empty bottles properly.

Hubbby chose our parking wisely –sa kanto ng Kalaw at Roxas kaya we were able to leave without any problems… hehehe.

Nag-5k yata sila!

Proof talaga ito na joining an organized run shouldn’t cost as much as 1k!!!

    Good run. Sa uulitin! :-)

  37. thaks HYUNDAI for the great run, kasama ko ang buong family ko sa takbo para makita naman nila ang mundo ng mga runners at para makita nila ang reason bakit ako gumigising ng maaga para pumunta sa mga fun run,
nung first time kong tumakbo nagdadala din ko ng bag kaso nakita ko hassle sa claiming kaya ginawa ko eh bumili ko belt bag tas dun nakalagay yung cellphone, t-shirt, at wallet ko. di naman natin kailangan magdala ng madaming gamit. just a tip lang po para di tayo magreklamo sa baggage.

  38. thank’s Hyundai…
and thanks din sa marshall na babae na nag-abot ng bag ko (black bench bag) :) hope you read this… :)

  39. Thank’s HYUNDIA…

  40. @Abbeyitch

That’s sarcasm. Huwag naman ganon. I know that we are all entitled to our opinion. Sabihin natin objectively why we didn’t enjoy it at Kung na-enjoy naman magpasalamat tayo. Hay.

Think before you click.

Again, nilatag na ng Hyundai ang platform for us to run, for free, it’s our duty naman na i-enjoy natin ito considering that we were all running for different causes.

  42. @ TakboBilisTakbo

We’re on a Democratic Country, If you dont Like what Im saying then dont you, its my own opinion and what I felt during the event. Get Lost..

  43. Bangngayan nnman.. chillax..

we are entitled on our own opinions but sometimes we have be also to think of somebody baka nakakasakit na tau sa damdamin ng iba.. kaya COOL lang tau.. hehe

It is a FREE RUN anyway; Just enjoy. La nmn nawala sa atin e (I mean financially), so be grateful enough..

    THANKS HYUNDAI! oyeh!

  44. Thank you Hyundai, it was the first fun run that my partner joined, she was overwhelmed and encouraged to start joining fun runs. The small flaw with the baggage counter is a molehill that did not impact the impression of how well organized and excellent the event was.

    I salute Hyundai, thumbs up!!!

  45. Let’s stop fighting in blogs, nakakaumay just like the Run United discussion. Let us respect each others feelings and opinions. Kung yan ang opinyon mo e di go.
Let us promote friendship not war. Okay?
    PEACEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE…

  46. i wish that more runners will join races because of the intended cause and beneficiaries other than the tangible items such as the finisher shirts and medals.

it is worth mentioning that hyundai supports various advocacies to improve communities and support beneficiaries in their basic needs as what had been declared by this free race.
