BAGGAGES SUCKS

kamusta parking? hindi na ako pumunta kasi may nagsabi 26,000 daw ang expected participants, at kahit hindi lahat ay pumunta, pahirapan pa rin (ata) sa parking (katulad ng sa run united na 14,000 runners dati pero medyo hassle na rin ang parking)

I spent 1hr running… and 2hrs 45min on the baggage counter thanks for the respect and discipline of the runners… and the genius marshal who started calling out bag numbers which caused the chaos… I was one of the first few to line up on the baggage yet I was one of the last few to get my bag

Not so good baggage counter. Please note and do adjustment next time. Imagine, I finished the race in sub-1 time and I claimed my bag in sub-2 time! =)

Thanks Hyundai for the free run! The water station the route are good points during the race. I know that when the people got home from the race, most will eventually spoke about the baggage counter, yes its actually a disaster adding the heat of the sun that totally put the runners on rage when getting their bags. Taking to the point of personnel in appointed on the baggage counter, almost all of them are shocked and didnt know what to do, srsly. One good point i see is for the runners to take initiative to look for bags/stuff rather than holding your slips and wait all throughout the time to be assisted. Be assertive somehow. BTW i got my bag in just a couple of minutes! :) Again thanks for the run!

I ran for Filipino Heritage and Pride. Kaya badtrip na badtrip ako nung nakita ko si Lucy Toress dun. hipocrita!

Again sa hyundai… maraming maraming salamat.

congrats and thanks hyundai! daming marshals along the route to guide the runners, daming naka-abang na medics, and daming nag-aabang na plastic bottle collectors (kasama na ang mga non-hyundai basurerong i sincerely hope na kumita naman sa dami ng boteng nakuha nila). Ewan ko lang kung natuwa yung mga may dalang camera and other gadgets when they reached the finished line with a fire truck na nakaabang, hehe. Most impt of all, nakakatuwa na napakalilim ng roxas blvd kahit tirik na ang araw nung gunstart.

showers at 10k turnaround and finish line
first aid stations
rescue vehicles, the works!
free registration with race kits for 26,000 runners!

if hyundai can do this for 26k runners, makes you wonder why other races charge so much..

nadumihan ung bag ko. galing ng baggage area, parang lahat ng bags sa lupa nilagay… kulang na lang maging putik na ung bag namin. Pero all in all, maganda ung run. :D Thanks Hyundai… :D

Very good run. No frills. The event organizers exceeded my expectations considering it was a free run. Although parking was a bit of a hassle for me, I liked the way the organizers made sure this run would be safe for the participants with the numerous marshals and hydration stations. The route was good since the buildings along Roxas provided shade for the runners. The cleanliness of the hydration stations was a pleasant surprise (Nat Geo should be thanked for this–they set a good precedent by showing organizers what should not be done to protect the environment). The baggage deposit and claim process was not a hassle for me at least for my bib number and wave, but I did see a long queue for the other waves. Good job to Hyundai for choosing Strider, a Filipino company, for the chips and run analyses. The only thing that doesn’t make this run perfect is the fact that they did not raffle out any cars, hehe.

Thank you Hyundai for a free Run pero terible ginawa mo smin at the baggage area mas matagal pa ung tinayo ko sa baggage area kesa sa tinakbo ko woooooooh!!! kainit ng ulo tpos pag kuha ko ng bag ko pro LUPA hahaha!!! pero ok lang un libre nman eh at least next time alam nyo na mga mali. Nice live band nga pala and confetti next year ulit and more power HYUNDAI RUN FOR A CAUSE!!!

..Thank you hyundai great run!! so much fun, hyrdation was very good and the race route was great as well, Very enviromental friendly no paper cups..clean roads after the race, and many marshalls to guide the runners. Meron pang star studed after party. This run was for the whole family, and for good causes as well.

– that was the possitive side-

Now on to the negative side, BAGGAGE was a nightmare..i finished the race at 630 and got bag at 830, kung anong mapulot nilang bag si sigaw yng number, di inuna yng mga nasa unahan. kaya what happend was chaos, shoving and pushing just to get there bags and at one point bumigay na yng isa table, and nag sisigawan na yung mga runners na unahin yng mga nasa harapan and yet they didnt listen and continued with the raffle of bags. kala ko nga mag kaka stampede kse sobrang init ng ulo nung mga ibang runners.

Other than that the run was very good
on a scale of 1-10,
9 parin bigay koh
hopefully next year will be even better and hopefully hyundai would be able to fix the baggage issue.

Thanks. We enjoyed the run. One side comment ko lang sana next year pati yung parking mapagplanuhan din. kasi ang layo ng parking namin considering we came one hour early sa 10K run. Obviously walang designated parking for the runners na may dalang sasakyan. Buti na lang mabait yung sekyu ng Macdo. Hehehe. Pero I’ll still run next year Lords willing kahit may bayad pa. Favorite ko ata Hyundai. kaya nga my car is Hyundai model eh.

ok na ok… aangal ka pa ba? tigas mo naman… libre na nga eh… hahahaha!

Very good run! Thanks Hyundai! Very clean ang kalye dahil na din sa bagong aspalto ang mga ito kaya naman nahiyang magtapon ng kalat ang mga runners. My only comment is the time for the run – 10k runners should start earlier and mas maikli sana yung difference ng time ng next wave. Mainit na nung tumakbo ang 5k runners.

It was a nice run indeed! ‘Di nga lang maganda ang amoy na nalalanghap along Roxas Boulevard.

its a fun filled day as its my cubs 1st 5K run…..they love it, they had so much fun.Bonding moments again , Thanks Hyundai and more power. God bless

first time in Hyundai run for a cause event…nice run @ 10K, very courteous ang mga marshalls, garbage never a problem (recycle materials collectors all over the place), bottleneck lang sa baggage counter (deposit and claims), but overall galing! sana free run uli ang Hyundai next year.

Over-all the event was ok, san ka ba naman nakakita ng free run, with free singlet, timing chip, and hydration… Un lng needs improvement sa baggage counter… but over-all the event was ok, pr rin ako sa claiming ng bag sa baggage counter sub-2, hehehe…

Thanks HYUNDAI for a well organized free run. All in all it’s a good run. Let’s all be thankful that Hyundai gave us a free run that will benefit also different causes that we believe in. We can’t get any better run than that.

First off, maraming salamat sa Hyundai for a free run. That alone deserve high praises. Knowing it is a free run and with the number of participants in the event, one should have foreseen potential problems lalo na sa baggage counter. With that said, what i did was to just bring an extra shirt stuffed in one of those free bags from previous runs and that’s it para in case na magkaproblema sa baggage counter, less ang worry ko na baka di ko na makuha ang bag ko. One should’ve learned already from the Nike run last year. All the rest, very organized surprisingly kaya talaga ok na ok itong run na ito…next year ulit! :)

pahabol…nabigla ako dun sa libreng bottled water instead of the usual cups sa mga hydration stations….for a change…sobrang appreciated ko sya…Thanks ulit.
