  1. i dont know if it just me or what, but i find the race route not enticing, daming sasakyan at mausok. i think din some areas need marshalls and of course need hydrations, some parts naman maraming tubig, kaya lang kung kelan andyan na yung mga runners doon palang naglalagay ng tubig sa plastic cups, and sadly may area na kulang yung plastic cups.

    if am going to rate this event, 10 being the highest, i’ll give them 6 for the effort.

  2. Nice effort on the part of the organizers. I beat my 10k PR by 17 minutes. Celeb sightings: James Ravena at Kurt Long (nakasabay ko!)

    pros: lots of water in hydrations going to u-turn, unique route, lots of cute and enthusiastic marshalls hehe.

    cons: not much water left after u-turn, some 15k runners left without their t-shirt and medals. Would have been better if it was handed to them at the finish line. Loot bags were so-so buti na lang madaming free drinks at bread sa ibang booth (100 plus, carbtrim, ion)

  4. Same comment regarding hydration. There were a lot of areas in ADMU and in Katipunan na kulang sa ilaw. I saw a runner who tripped at yung isang matanda along Katipunan na nadapa. Isa pa was the lack of marshalls along the route. I remember na nakipagpatintero kami sa sasakyan kasi di namin alam which way to go. These things can be improved on naman pero I would say that I enjoyed the race. The route was new and you don’t get to run the c5-Katipunan flyover/underpass everyday. Kudos pa rin to your org!

  5. @ jj jabines

    LOOT BAGS- di nakakatuwa dahil PLASTIC lang, para lang akong namili sa talipapa, ung saging na naibigay sa kin, huli ko na nalaman bulok pala, sana naman ginawa nyo ng maganda ung loot bag,

    FINISHER SHIRT- napaka nipis, bakat ang utong ko nung isinuot ko, ganitong klaseng t-shirt ung mga binibigay ng mga kumpanya tuwing magpapasko na may kasamang kalendaryo, cencya na po di po kasi maganda ung quality nung t-shirt na ibinigay nyo,
    sa totoo lang mas ok pa ung t-shirt na suot ng mga race organizer na black,

    to mr. jj jabines kyo na rin po ang nagsabi IBA ITONG EVENT NYO,

    @ms.runria
    (ateneo? hmm isip muna, baka adbr ang kalabasan),

    @muntinkaderders
    ano ang masasabi mo ngayon sa comment mo kay ms.runria?

  6. mausok, kulang s hydration gud thing i really dont drink that much while running peron nevertheless challenging ang route maraming uphill ngayon lang ako npagod ng husto there’s always room for improvement

  7. Challenging yung race route. Pataas- pababa. Mausok. Yung finisher’s shirt, ____, hahaha. Olats sa execution yung race. But because of the effort of the students in preparation, pwede na ang 7. 10 being the highest. There’s always a room for improvement next year. =)

    Congrats No Speed Limit. Yun ang best asset ng race na to, effort of all the students. =)

  8. good effort lalo na at students ang nagorganize. ok yung uphill and downhills. very challenging route.

  9. ok naman ung race… bagong route but ung finisher shirt sana pareho ng tela ng singlet… i know nman n next year mas magimprove p… congrats…

  12. congrats to all finishers! i’ve been hearing mixed reviews on this run. to be fair to the runners, mababait ung mga comment. so i guess most got something out of this race more worthwhile despite the shortcomings

    “We apologize for the risks that were present in NSL. Truth be told, we depended too much on the promised collaboration of QC Traffic and MMDA who were to provide around 90 enforcers. Sadly, less than half arrived. We have started evaluating this project right after it finished, and rest assured all is being done to prevent a repeat of whatever problems occured in NSL 2012. Team NSL 2013 will do whatever it takes to reach the fullest potential of the project. :)”

  13. Nice route! great run! first time to run sa underpass that was really cool! problem lang yung first part running inside Ateneo medyo kulang ang mga ilaw maraming natripped sa mga lubak lubak na daan. and yung first na kuhaan ng black na straw hindi maputol and a lot of runners are piling up na. The marshall then bit the straw para lang maputol yung pagkakatali. aside from that incident the whole race was great. Lot of cute volunteers as well that will definitely uplift your spirit with there smiles! till next year!

  14. CONGRATULATIONS NSL! you can’t please them all…You guys did great! all the marshals were very lively and energetic, cheering us on and even congratulating us at the finish line,their kind gestures truly makes you forget of the minute problems of the run…just pick-up all the comments objectively, the run was near-perfect for me =)

  15. aww… akala ko yung cut-off times for all categ is 2.5 hours after every gunstart pero parang 1.5 hours ang cut-off ng sinalihan kong 10k. I think my time was 1 hr 30 mins pero wala sa race results page ang name or bib# ko :(

  16. It was my first time to attend those kind of event. Sadly, we didn’t wear our singlet.. Hope we can have it even if it is already done…as a souvenir for us to be willingly attend some event of that kind.. Congratulation to those student organized it.. All I can say is “nobody are perfect”…

  17. my first time @ nsl run experience,. ok ang route guys, my part lng n 1lane. dilikado dhil salubungan,. freebies ok ( compare s iba n run dyan s skul nyo bokya),. ala aq picture waaa.. ung bib no.q ibang nme ang nklagay, hndi q PR. un la ang…. pero enjoy nmn kmi:-)#15111. c u nxt event
