  1. “beat your own time category”!!! how can they monitor your past runs i.e. 21K,, baka maubos yung mizuno items at suunto watches nito, hihihi

  2. This will be a toss up with another event on the following day at BGC. That’s why it’s on a Saturday.

Now, if I had not run any Mizuno race prior, what is the basis for “beat your own pace?”

  3. beat your own pace will be Mizuno’s nightmare if they will not clarify that criteria: (1) does it refer to the runner’s previous Mizuno run, and if it does, how can it be so when there is no 15k category this year compared to last year (2) does it refer to the runner’s indicated target finish time (3) will it be compared to the time of the runner’s last/latest 21k run and many more :)

  4. does the singlet will be given upon registration?
    Is there a finisher shirt?
Hopefully there will separation on giving item on each category.

  5. Singlet is not yet available. You just have to register and pay for your slot. They said that they will just inform the runners where to pick the singlet.

    Kita kits bro!

  7. @SuPLaDo_aKo – Not yet. But I already have the registration form. I’m still thinking whether to do 5k or 10k, I want sana 10k. And not sure if I won’t have a problem with my work schedule. I will decide by mid May :)

  8. where/when po kaya pwede mag pa register and at the same time makuha na rin yung racekit/singlet? Para isang puntahan na lang. Thanks in advance sa may alam ng sagot!

  9. @ Park
Thanks! I actually went to Mizuno Trinoma and registered. Will just wait ’til the 29th to claim the singlet in Magallanes.
    Haist! Layo.

  11. @Yingksi and Suplado_Ako – I already registered at BGC last Thursday. Will be getting the singlet in Magallanes on the 29th with my AnR Tiendesitas runningmates. Right after the 5th Sunday run, Magallanes bound na kami ;)

  12. @bingski confirmed sabi ng head ng mizuno magallanes. akala ko nga para sa 21k lang ung finisher shirt eh pero sabi nya lahat daw ng category. dumating na daw shipment ng singlet from japan !

  13. Pwede kaya sa mismong araw sa May 29 mag pa register at ma claim narin ang singlet at the same time sa Mizuno Magallanes? Wala kasi naka lagay if kailan ang deadline ng registration. Para isang puntahan na lang.

  14. well i hope on this run.early gunstart 4:30 for 21k 5:00 for 10k and 5:30 for 5k..well this is the best time.. and we hope clear maps for each km.. finishers kit we hope more liquid for dehydration..

  15. @patok – my first 10k
@yingski – according to Mizuno Run Club last night, you can register and get the race kit on May 29 ;)

  16. @angel – 10am-7pm ang Mizuno Magallanes. This is Mizuno’s number 7279987, not sure if this is the number for Magallanes so ask mo na lang.

  17. @angel – thanks for the offer ;) Taga QC ako eh, but there could be other runners who might need a ride. Ok nga na we can do a carpool.

By the way, I just came from Mizuno Magallanes to check out their shoe sizes. Nakita ko yung actual singlet on the mannequin. Ang ganda!!! Pati yung material, syempre dapat lang kasi Mizuno nga ang brand… hehhehe…

    @Miles – Here’s the number, 757.31.60 local 520 and 517

  18. @angel – I just started last Feb. Nakaka-addict talaga eh and then you’ll meet a lot of nice people, that’s why mas lalong nakaka-engganyo. Thanks to Pinoy Fitness, I’ve made a lot of running buddies.

  19. for those who have registered for 21k but may fail to run on the actual event, pls benta nyo na lang race kit nyo sa akin. hehe. thanks

  20. @angel – if it rains and tuloy ang run, go pa rin ako. minsan lang maka-experience ng ganun. I’ll post here a very informative article on running during the rainy season.

  21. @dennis

mag-post po ako dito if di ako makaka-attend. i’ve registered for 21k but i have a tentative schedule of business travel beg june 6. though i’m praying na ma-postpone pa sya until june 11, if ever, please post your email add so i can pm you. thanks!

sa mga di pa nakaka-experience mag-run ng umuulan, masarap po tumakbo sa ulan. i made a pr when i ran eco-dash run last 2009 i think. it was raining very hard then. di naman po uso ang sakit sa runners ‘coz we’re supposed to be not prone to being sick because of our healthy lifestyle. uso din po ang running in the rain sa ibang countries. :) just sharing the thought and the experience.

  22. @dennis, hahahahahaha! anyway, thanks. hope to run mizuno again. and hope to see and know you guys din. let’s keep on running =)
