Sharing this important announcement from Runrio Leg 3 – Run United 2 from Runrio.com.

The delivery of the singlets for the Runrio Leg 3 – Run United 2 has been on-going since November 3, 2010. For all registered participants who have not yet received their singlets, below are updates regarding your singlet delivery.

Here is the [download id=”322″]. For those who have not seen their names on the list and have not received their singlets, the following are some of the reasons for the failed delivery:

* incomplete information
* incorrect name
* incorrect delivery address or delivery address cannot be located
* when the delivery was made, there was nobody to receive the package
* singlet sized was not indicated in the registration form

To ensure that all registered runners would have their singlets by the event, please see below singlet updates effective today, November 16, 2010 (Tuesday):

1. Please visit the Run United Singlet Claiming booth infront of ROX at the BHS from today until Nov. 19, 12pm to 9pm, for singlet claiming. Please bring your RACE BIB for proper identification.

2. For those who are supposed to receive their singlets via delivery, delivery is still on-going. But if you opt to just pick-up your singlets instead of having it delivered, YOU CAN PICK-UP YOUR SINGLET from any of the registration centers on the following dates (just present your RACE BIB):

From today until November 17: Planet Sports Trinoma, TIMEX Mall of Asia
From today until November 19: Singlet Claim area in front of ROX in Bonifacio Highstreet
On race day, Nov. 20 and 21: Singlet Claim tent at the event/activity area

Should you opt to pick-up your singlets instead of delivery, we will not stop delivery of your singlet as we cannot anymore pull it out from the courier/riders. This can result to you receiving more than one singlet. In this case, you have the option to just refuse the receipt of singlet delivery or keep it. Runrio will not charge you if you chose to keep it.

3. ONLINE registrants will have to wait for the delivery of the singlets which are already in-transit because we cannot anymore pull it out from the courier.

4. For those who got a wrong singlet size or damaged singlet, changes will be accepted in any of the registration centers and claim area starting today. However this will be based on the availability of sizes.

  9. Me and my girlfriend registered in NB Shangri-La last October 30 for a 5K run. She got everything but the singlet but when it was my turn, the staff said they already ran out of bib number. I was told that it will be delivered with my singlet and no receipt or whatsoever was given to me except for the Rio Card and the freebies. My GF’s singlet was delivered the other day and up to now, I have no idea where to claim mine or if they will still deliver it. Help, anyone?

  11. i decided to pick-up my singlet yesterday but sad to say no more xs size available. just a bit disappointed knowing that im one of the early registrants.

  12. Last Oct. 31, I registered for the 32k run and my wife registered for the 5k run both scheduled for Nov. 21 at a Runrio booth at the New Balance outlet in Shangrila Mall. As the booth obviously did not have sufficient supply of singlet and race kits, the person in charge volunteered to us that they will just deliver my medium size singlet and my wife’s small size singlet and race kit to our home in Pasig City. Sadly to this day, no deliveries were made to us while our neighbor who also registered for the event got her singlet delivered after inconveniently rushing back to the registration booth and demanded said delivery.

    For several days, we attempted to call alleged Hotline No. 703-1736 as provided in the Runrio card but it is either unattended or out of coverage area. Through my trainer I also tried to contact the alleged person in charge of releasing race kits and singlets at his private number but to no avail.

    As you are well aware, fun run organizers have an obligation to give to paying participants what is justly due to them. For a fun run that charges a lot more than average runs, better service to paying patrons is clearly expected. We are very disappointed that Unilab Run United2 pales in this respect. It is too shameful for one to charge a lot more when it cannot even deliver a satisfactory service.

    Our race kits and singlets have not been delivered as promised. To add insult to the injury, we have been left helpless as we cannot contact the responsible people. We went to ROX at the Fort but was told that the release of singlets were concluded as of yesterday. We were also not informed that personal deliveries can no longer be done. However, as Runrio has gathered all our personal information including contact numbers, it could have lessened the insult to injury by at least informing us duly that we can instead claim the race kits and singlets at the claiming booth at the Fort and the schedule therefor.

    Tonight we have no recourse but to sleep early and try to go to the race area as early as 3am hoping that we can still obtain the singlets that fit us as well as the race kits. This is not a worthy fate for early registrants. What is more, we are already harassed with the possible thought that there will no more be available race kits and singlet sizes tomorrow.

    This is not the proper way to treat paying patrons much more early registrants. Rest assured that should this incident be not addressed promptly, the same shall be severely dealt with by the filing of necessary legal actions and a complaint with the Department of Trade and Industry and other concerned offices.
