adidas has introduced a fresh new look for the Adizero Dropset Pro, its hybrid training shoe designed for athletes who combine running, lifting, and functional training.

Following its initial launch in June 2026, the Dropset Pro now arrives in a striking Solar Turbo / Lucid Pink colorway, giving the performance-focused silhouette a brighter and more energetic look. The update is purely visual, with adidas keeping the same core technologies and design that made the original shoe part of its growing hybrid training lineup.

Built for Speed and Strength

The Adizero Dropset Pro brings together technology from two adidas franchises: the speed-focused Adizero line and the strength-training Dropset family.

It is designed for athletes who regularly move between cardio and strength exercises in the same workout. According to adidas, the shoe is engineered to support activities such as treadmill intervals, sled pushes, weighted lunges, farmer’s carries, wall balls, and transitions between running and functional strength movements.

That makes it an interesting option for runners who are adding more strength work into their training, as well as athletes preparing for hybrid-style competitions.

What’s Inside the Adizero Dropset Pro?

The shoe features full-length Lightstrike Pro foam, providing lightweight cushioning and energy return for faster movements.

It also uses EnergyRods to help create a smoother heel-to-toe transition and a more reactive push-off. For traction, adidas combines Lighttraxion, designed to keep grip lightweight, with Continental™ Rubber for traction in both wet and dry conditions.

A thin 2.6mm Adizero sockliner helps minimize weight while maintaining a lower-to-the-ground feel for added control during strength movements.

The Adizero Dropset Pro weighs 242g and has a 7mm drop, with a stack height of 29mm at the heel and 22mm at the forefoot.

New Look, Same Performance

While the new colorway gives the shoe a noticeably bolder appearance, adidas confirms that the performance setup remains unchanged from the original Adizero Dropset Pro.

For athletes who don’t want to choose between running shoes and gym shoes for every mixed workout, the Dropset Pro is built to offer a balance of speed, cushioning, grip, stability, and control in one package.

Price and Where to Buy

The adidas Adizero Dropset Pro is priced at ₱8,500.

The new colorway became available starting September 2, 2026 through adidas and sports retail stores nationwide, adidas.com.ph, and the adidas App.

For runners who lift and lifters who run, this latest Dropset Pro offers the same hybrid-ready performance – now with a look that’s a little harder to miss.
