HYROX athletes in the Philippines will soon have another race-day shoe to consider.
PUMA has unveiled a new colorway of the Deviate NITRO™ Elite HYROX, a high-performance racing shoe developed specifically for the demanding combination of running and functional fitness found in every HYROX competition.
Introduced ahead of the 2026 HYROX World Championships in Stockholm, the new version features a bold mix of teal, lavender, and lime green – a design inspired by the energy, intensity, and determination athletes bring to the competition floor.
But the Deviate NITRO™ Elite HYROX is more than just a colorful update. Since the shoe was launched earlier this year, athletes wearing it have already recorded four HYROX world records, helping establish it as one of PUMA’s leading race-day options for the growing fitness racing community.
Built for Both the Runs and the Stations
Unlike a traditional road race, HYROX requires athletes to complete eight one-kilometer runs, with a functional workout station waiting after every running segment.
Competitors have to move continuously between running, sled pushes, sled pulls, rowing, burpee broad jumps, farmer’s carries, sandbag lunges, and wall balls.
That means a HYROX shoe cannot focus on speed alone. It also needs to provide enough stability, traction, and control for the workout stations.
Developed with input from elite HYROX athletes, the Deviate NITRO™ Elite HYROX is designed to deliver cushioning and propulsion during the running portions while remaining dependable across the different movements and surfaces encountered throughout the race.
Key Features
The shoe is equipped with NITROFOAM™ ELITE cushioning, providing lightweight responsiveness and energy return to help athletes maintain their pace across all eight running segments.
A full-length carbon-fibre PWRPLATE is incorporated into the midsole to improve propulsion and running efficiency, especially when athletes are trying to regain their rhythm after completing a demanding workout station.
Underfoot, a specially developed PUMAGRIP outsole provides traction across running lanes, sled areas, and functional fitness surfaces.
Together, these features create a racing shoe designed not only to help athletes run faster, but also to handle the constant transitions that make HYROX uniquely challenging.

The new PUMA Deviate NITRO™ Elite HYROX colorway will be available in the Philippines beginning July 1, 2026, with a retail price of ₱14,800.
