adidas Philippines has officially launched the Adizero Dropset Pro, a high-performance hybrid training shoe designed for athletes who move between running, cardio, and functional strength workouts in a single session.
Made for the growing community of hybrid athletes, the Adizero Dropset Pro brings together the fast and responsive feel of the adidas Adizero line with the stable and grounded performance of the Dropset franchise. The result is a training shoe built to support speed, stability, control, and grip — whether you are doing treadmill intervals, sled pushes, weighted lunges, farmer’s carries, wall balls, or race-day preparation.
Hybrid training continues to grow around the world, with more athletes combining running and strength work as part of their regular fitness routine. According to adidas, nearly half of hybrid athletes globally say their current training footwear limits their performance during workouts, while 47% say their shoes do not fully support both running and strength training.
The new Adizero Dropset Pro aims to answer that need by giving athletes one shoe that can handle both fast-paced movements and strength-based exercises.
“Hybrid athletes are redefining what performance looks like,” said Bernhard Serr, VP of Product at adidas Training. “Athletes are no longer training in one lane, and their footwear needs to evolve with that shift.”

The Adizero Dropset Pro features Lightstrike Pro foam, the same cushioning technology seen in adidas’ speed-focused Adizero range, designed to provide a lightweight and responsive ride. It also comes with Energy Rods to help support smoother heel-to-toe transitions and a more powerful push-off during fast movements.
For grip and control, the shoe uses Lighttraxion, a lightweight traction system, together with Continental™ rubber for reliable traction in both wet and dry conditions. It also features a thin 2.6mm Adizero sockliner, helping maintain ground feel and stability during lifts and functional movements.
The shoe was designed for athletes who train across disciplines and need footwear that can move with them from preparation to competition. It follows the earlier launch of the Adizero Dropset Elite, adidas’ hybrid racing shoe developed for elite hybrid competitors.
The Adizero Dropset Pro will also be worn by adidas athletes competing at the HYROX World Championships in Stockholm, bringing the shoe into one of the world’s biggest stages for hybrid fitness racing.
The adidas Adizero Dropset Pro is now available in the Philippines starting June 17, 2026, priced at ₱8,500. It is available through adidas stores nationwide and online at: https://www.adidas.com.ph/hybrid_training-shoes
