I’ve been waiting for this aquathlon to happen. Coach Sam is not only a great swim coach but also a tri coach. See you guys..
great race for beginners
Poorly organized. Room for a helluva improvement. Some athletes were mistakenly categorized to their opposite sex. Female to Male. Male to Female. Age Categories changes in the last minute, combining 30-34 with 35-39. Rubber bands given per loop in the run leg RUN OUT so tracking were shifted to pentel pen line markings on the skin which doesn’t really hold up as athletes were wet from the pool or are very sweaty. There’s only 1 size for all finisher shirt. No diff medals given to Age Cat winners. They were just given the same medal given to the finishers. Even the loot bag for finishers and winners are the same. So podium finishers went home with two identical medals and two identical loot bags of freebies. Time tracking is obsolete – manual. Marshall take note of the athletes number and time with a pen and paper. Some of the marking already wore off from the pool and sweat resulting to guessing game in the athletes’ bib/marking number.
