Get ready to once again break the SUB-1 10K time limit in 2014! Pinoy Fitness and Pep Squad Events is back! This time at an earlier time slot to make sure that the rain can’t stop your training!

What is SUB-1 10K?
Being able to complete a 10K Race Route under 1 hour or less has always been the ‘Holy Grail’ of most runners and Pinoy Fitness SUB-1 10K Challenge is the only race in the Philippines that highlights this achievement.

It’s also a test of one’s fitness, as runners, we know what it means to break the SUB-1 time limit, you need constant training, dedication and hard work.

FUN WAVE Category:
This year, we’re also introducing a FUN WAVE Category! Can’t hit the SUB-1 just yet? But want to see how fast you can go? This is the wave for you! This can be your 10K PR race to gauge how far you are from the SUB-1 mark!

  1. PF Admins sure na ba yung date on March 30?
    March 16 kasi yung Run United 1.. Kulang para saken yung 2 weeks recovery, specially na target time ko for this run is Sub-50 sana.. :)

    • Or the sub 90-minute 10 miler :-) Runs with a target time are really exciting and challenging. I’ll keep supporting runs like these. Maybe I’ll just target a new PR for 10k.

    • meron nga sir/ma’am pero sa tingin mo po sino kaya ang makakagawa nyan satin? yung abot lang po ng kakayanan natin hindi po yung suntok sa buwan, wala pong sasali nyan kung ipipilit natin ang sub1 21k, isip isip lang din po minsan

  3. hi sir jeff, i would suggest instead of medal a drifit shirt would do, or much better if you can provide both. just a thought. thanks and more power to PINOY FITNESS!

    • no, they wouldn’t do that because these people along with other organizers like rio is making this sport a big time business.

      Also beware of what you’re singing. This kind of a challenge run is supposed to have a qualifying round(s) but because of additional expenses for them, they would skip it and instead ask you to sign a waiver.
      I hope very soon DTI and DOH will come in and regulate these organizers. Unfortunately, only until someone get injured or die will the govt intervene. So it’s better to take care of yourselves runners. Be critical with these all business no passion people calling themselves runners.

  4. ok naman yung patakbo dati…

    anyway…sa bawat patakbo, just don’t forget the basics, such as…

    – hydration
    – “exact” distance
    – kilometer marker (kailangan lalo dito, kasi may mga maghahabol…)
    – organized baggage counter
    – safe run/route
    – well-oriented marshals
    – freebies (if any)
    – if gunstart is at 5am, then start at 5am…

  5. I echo the request for a finisher’s shirt for the sub-1 finishers. Para mas ma-encourage din yung mga hindi umabot last time. :)

Kasali ako last time. challenging talaga yung event. nagpahirap pa sa challenge yung kalayaan flyover at biglang buhos ng ulan. ok naman yung mga marshall kase priority yung runners sa intersection since karamihan eh talagang naghahabol.. 321 out of 763 lang ang umabot sa time pero alam ko nag extend ata ng 1 or 2mins not sure pero yung ang pagkakaalam ko.. Ok itong event na to kase malayo palang ang date sinasabi kaya napaghahandaan. ok rin march ito since last time eh september ito dami time na umuulan kaya hirap mag outdoor training.

  7. kaya yan sub 1 – 10k target time 30 – 40 mins and sub 2 – 21k target 1hr 15mins – 30mins….. HABULIN ang mga KENYANNN!! >_<

  9. last time sobrang challenge talga…lalo na sa mga buzzer beater…sarp sa pakiramdam! Sna dumami pa ung sponsors…ganda ng mga freebies last time lalo na ng suunto…sana dmihn nila freebies na caps, bags and socks pra mrami mbigyan…hehe!!!   10. Ayos!!! sub1 10k ulit! challenging nga naman talaga yung 2013 pfsub1 dahil sa ulan, hangin at kalayaan flyover… pero kaya yan,, swak sa balde yung PR kong 59:56! hahaha! SIR JEFFsana tgis time may sub1 10k finisher shirt.. =)

  12. badtrip bkit sumabay un kay idol bearwin dto sana magiba sched ng isa.. bbawi ako dto kinapos ako ng 4minutes last time. sana may finisher shirt kaht mdjo mataas konti registration fee

  13. Ive decided i go with this. nakakasawa na din yong route ng Luneta to Roxas Boulevard. But then Sir Jeff,baka pwede nga MOA tong event na to? hehehe..just trying….

  14. Hi,ask ko lang.marami ba sumali dito last year na hindi umabot sa 1 hour? Kasi i want to register my wife as well,but hindi hindi pa nya kaya ang 10 at 1 hour. Gusto ko lang sya isama,kaya lang nahihiya sya baka sya daw ang pang huli.

    • Sir this time po may 2 wave, yung new wave ay para dun sa mga hindi confident na mag Sub-1 na gustong i-try.. they will still receive a Finisher’s Shirt as long as they cross the finish line.. Yung Finisher’s Medal po ay para sa mga makaka sub-1.. and take note it will depend sa category ng sasalihan niyo if i remember it correctly mas mura ng 100 pesos yung para sa new wave yun nga lang kahit maka sub-1 sila wala sila medal..

  15. Sali kau dto mganda to…Sana habaan ng konti ung singlet or gawin nlng dri-fit shirt katulad ng bnbentang PF shirt pra khit wla nalng FS…OK na!!!

  16. sana po may finisher shirt sa lahat ng makapag SUB 1 ,,, para lahat mag training talga ng husto,,,, sarap kaya isuot ng finisher shirt tapos naka sulat SUB 1 ,,, kesa nung nakaraan medal eh hnd mo namn masuot yung medal sa labas ng bahy nyo hehe,,, pero ok din namn yung nakaraan saya din ^.^
