Whats with the separate date pickup of racekits? Nagiging trend na ito ngayon. This is very inconvenient and costly to those na walang access sa pickup location and dates. Where’s the service? Maximizing the profits na lang ba? And whats with the prepaid cards required for online registration? Beats the purpose of convenience of “online” di ba? Good race sana ito kaso lang napaka one-sided ng process. Konting service naman sana.

Kaya ka nga nag online registration kc un ung convenient para satin kaso mukang sunod sunod na tong ginagawa ni Rio tapos papatngan kpa ng web admin fee.. naumpishan nya to sa 2XU then Rexona and now pati ba naman sa NB??? so expect na natin n bka sa mga susunod na event eh ganto na ang sitema ni Rio.. pero sna nman ihinto n nya to kc npaka costly n nga sumali sa mga event eh nagdagdag pa ng additional expenses. nwei, for the love of running eh mukang hanggang d2 n lng himutok ntin kc di nman tayo papansinin ni Rio d2. hehehee
maganda ang run na ito.. mahal ang reg pero di na issue ang pera.. ang nakaka inis lang sa run na ganito para tayong ginigisa sa sarili nating mantika…naghalf day ka para magpareg tapos mag hahalf day ka ulit para sa pag claim ng kit bakit di na lang pagsabayin ang reg at claim ng kit.. shirt at bib lang naman ang need ng mga runners talo na yan.. Paalala kay coach di kami boss sa opis namin na pwede kami umalis sa oras na gusto namin, ordinary employee lang ang marami sa amin.. kung mapapagalitan kami dahil sa kakahalfday namin para lang mag reg at mag claim ng kit.. di ata makatao yun.. Coach minsan isip-isip din ng damdamin ng mga runners…di issue ang pero ang issue ngayon yung oras namin para magkapera para makasali kami sa mga runs.. sana mabigyan nyo ng solution itong hinaing ng mga runners…tnx

nakakatamad na yung mga run ngayun kung ganyan yung practice na babalikan mo yung racekits!nawawala yung convenience kahit magbayad ka online! organizers please reconsider!
Saan makukuha yung Prepaid Card Number?
Potchok, the organizers dont need to spend to transport the kits to the different registration sites kaya instant cost savings. They pass it on to the runners. Unless there’s a better reason why bago ang sistema nila? Thats all i see.

Sana tama yong shirt size pagdating ng claiming. Usually ito yong nagiging problema pag hindi nakukuha on-site yong race kit. Optimistic pa rin naman ako na magiging maayos to. It’s my 3rd time to join if ever.

Useless ang online registration kasi hindi idedeliver syo ung race kit. Sasabay ka sa claiming venue. Ganito ang ginawa nila sa Rexona. Pinagbigyan ko lang sila but this time hindi na. Hindi runner friendly ang ganitong sistema.
pano naman ang mga outside metro manila, kelangan pang kumonsumo ng more or less 300 para lang maclaim ang racekit…. nakakalungkot naman yan sa tulad ko.

This means we have to give our money first before we can register, so obviously, our money will be in their pockets before we can use it. Maganda nito, increments ng 1000 ang prepaid cards, so pag less than 1000 ang race fee, nasa kanila pa din yung natirang money. We have PayPal and bank deposits na mas convenient and safe. Ayaw lang ng extrang work load ng organizer.
It’s so inconvenient for the participant with regards to point of registration and claiming of kits. Same as the online registry you need to pay for additional web fee and you also need to claim the kits on a separate date and place. What is wrong with the system now? We hope we are not looking on a “one way” convenience on this system. Please don’t be too harsh and find another way that will benefit the participant. I thought NB Power Run is one of the prestigious event of the year… (point of view only)

Wlang malasakit sa mga taong nagpayaman sa kanya. hnd kami sumali sa rexona dahil jan,,, mag LSD nalng kami ng grupo at ibibili nlng namin ng branded singlet ang pera namin. malamang ganito ulit mangyayari sa Nov. 10, 25KM LSD then bili nlng ako Nike singlet, solve ang problema :)
With all the comments with the same registration/race kit claim dates issues, this is loud and clear. Sad part is that the RunRio folks haven’t replied yet.

Yeah, it’s really annoying. I’ve asked one staff and she said that it’s not their part (Runrio) but the other side (e.g. Nike, New Balance and Rexona) and obviously, a marketing strategy.

The separate claiming schedule is a marketing ploy of the organizers and sponsors. They will set-up an expo in the claiming area to showcase their products. This is the practice in major runs in other countries.

Sad that this race organizer handle the best races. I will not join dahil hassle talaga ang process, mas malaki mawawala sakin if i take a leave at work and doublr gastos ang pickup, pero i know it wont make a difference in the race dahil madami pang sasali. To the organizer, good luck in making it hard for runners to enjoy running races.
Wow bago palang ako natakbo pero mukhang mapapaaga ang 1st 10k ko na originally set for my sante barley domination run on nov. 24 adjust ko nalang ang training plan ko for this.
10k lang ako. Sayang, kinabukasan flight ko papuntang HK. Di ko kekerihin mag-travel after ng 25k tapos kinabukasan lakaran. Haha. Di bale, next yr. i’ll probably join :)
hopefully the organizer will consider the clamor of the majority…..specially the traditional way..issuing the t-shirt/singlet upon registration..in this case the perception that they are not fully prepared fore this event shall not be doubtful..or baka maghanap pa ng puhunan…..just a brotherly comment sir
kung pahirapan tayo ng organizer.. pwede tayo sumali pa din… soutin natin yung singlet ng KOTR para naman alam nila na mali yung gingawa nila.. pati siguro sa NIKE, adidas ang soutin natin… tulad ng ginawa sa ADIDAS na NIKE naman ang sinout hehehehe

Ganito rin ang strategy ng ibang famous shoe brand like Adidas and Nike. There’s a scheduled race kit claiming for the sponsors to showcase their products and services. Sa Nike, printed na yong bib number sa shirt. Sana ganito rin gawin ng NB in way na hassle free claiming at mag-enjoy ang mga runners while in queue.

There are alot of factor why ganito yung scheme ng claiming nila. One thing for sure its quite patented from international races, but please spare Philippines. Then some factor you can play with is that marketing, promotion etc.
And when you try to think of races from the same organizer which have singlet+medal+fshirt. Don’t reason out that the brand is NewBalance check the material yourself later on, the texture will surely be like those fshirts.

Sa pagkakaintindi, ko mukhang dagdag hassle itong prepaid card na to ha kasi instead of registering conveniently online, kailangan pang pumunta sa site to buy the card. Tama ba? Tapos separate racekit claiming pa. Maaksaya sa time! Imbes na iimprove ang sistema, mas pinapangit nila.

Yes, Boycot RunRio races! There are other races pa nman, and we can always just run on our own. Kahit sa FB page ng organizer may mga nagre-react, pero deadma lang. Obviously doesnt care about our concern. Di man ako kawalan sa mga races ng organizer, my perception about you changed nman.
Do not support this run. I was expecting to run to this event but the claiming system made it not acceptable. Hassle, waste of money, time and effort.
I just registered for the Domination Run on Nov 24 a while ago – online with delivery, walang hassle. Im done with this organizer’s events. Pity his clients. Nadadamay sila. There are other races, mas mura pa nga.

What’s the purpose of registering online if you can’t have your race kit delivered? Kaya nga online nagpaparegister kasi walang time pumunta sa instore registration tapos di na pwede magpadeliver. haynaku! tapos kelangan weekday pa i-schedule ang race kit claiming, paano nga naman ang mga may work ng weekdays na hindi makakapunta on the designated days?
I say give an option to have the kits delivered for online registration (even for an extra fee) and option to get the kit at the event itself as well for those who cannot claim the kit at the limited weekdays designated for claiming

Runrio, please, reply to the complaints of us runners. Wag nyo kami itulad sa ibang international races. Sila may oras para magclaim kasi wala sila problema sa transportation at pera. Kami, na mga isinilang sa Pilipinas, wala kaming ganun. Oras namin may bayad. Oras namin hindi pwedeng masayang. Pera namin hindi pwedeng masayang. Well, nauubos na nga sa mga running events nyo pero please naman, sana wag ganito ang sistema. WE WANT RACE KITS CLAIMED UPON REGISTRATION!
Khit user ako ng rexona at nb i will not join these event dahil sa price at system nila. Mission run nlang ako sa nov 10. Maayos ang patakbo ng organizer sa lighthouse run at mdaming hydration. Kya nman uulit ako sa knila.

i’ve participated in this event since its inception 3yrs ago and in the last 2 yrs i can say that the race went well, no claiming of racekits on a spec. date. You just register and get ur kit right away, ii’m just wondering why do they have to change organizers when the event has been doin well in the past?????
Hi guys. I also think na hassle yung separate kit claiming. Kaya lang naisp ko na siguro kaya binago yung kit claiming is for them to get accurate number and size of the event shirt and medals. cost saving on their part. kaya tayong mga runners, try to cost save din and timing ng activity sa other sched natin.
By the way, naka visit na ako sa NB ATC and saw the shirt. Maganda kaya lang medyo fit sa katawan, lalo na sa shoulder part. Better make sure na tama sukat pag nag ID kayo ng size ng shirt. Run safe, run happy.

Parang super hassle na kasi walang race kit in store at need pa punta ng BGC, willing naman kami mag join sana the organizer should listen naman po sa hinaing ng runners. Ok naman yung mga dati eh kahit mahal ang price basta walang hassle na claiming of race kit at prepaid card.

Ok na nga tayo sa mataas na registration fee kasi organize naman yung patakbo pero yung ganito na pahihirapan kapa at pagagastusin kapa ng pamasahe eh mejo panget na. Sana mabasa ni Rio mga comments dito. Nakakatipid nga kayo sa production ng shirts eh pinahihirapan nyo naman yung mga runners para sa pagkuha ulet ng kit, wala rin. :(

For my point of view, organizers really want to make sure about the number of participants and for their cost on making the racekits as it was well said also from other comments. But I think they need to consider the situation of runners talaga as for the claiming of racekits is not convenient for others. IF you could just change the process, I believe many runners will be really happy to join this event and will put their best to support it. Without runners, anong silbe ng running event…
To all of us pinoy runners, just smile and run with your passion and let not this issue destroy your pace(or face). Besides, there are still other running events pa naman dyan eh.

BGC is too far, sampaloc pa ko manggagaling, I have work from 7am-5pm on weekdays, pano ko kaya makukuha ung racekit ko kung sasali ako? Bakit di na lang sa same registration venue pwede makuha yung kit if all they want is to make sure of the number of participants and better yet give an option of kit delivery?
Went to RobPlace Ermita, di pa open yung registration, sa sept20 pa nga daw. Super hassle naman kung pabalik-balik pa. Napapaisip tuloy ako kung talagang sasali pa ko….

Ang habol ko lng din mkapag 25k for the first time. May maganda ding run na kasabay pero yung 25k lng ang nagbibigay ng motivation na ito ang piliin.
Sa Laguna pa kami manggagaling, actually madaming runners dito sa South na gusto sumali, Sana nga pick up na lng sa Branches na where we register kasi malapit lapit yun compared sa BGC di ba…
