    Will Keith Kellogg, best known as the founder of the Kellogg Company, he was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and practiced vegetarianism as a dietary principle taught by his church.

    Nakakatuwa talaga ang mga runners.

    Guys, medyo tough ang McKinley Hill I just did ang 10K sa 65th Anniversary Airforce Run (Congratulations Coach Joar nga pala) and it was hard.

    So, sa 16K runners will provide GU Gel sa starting pa lang.

    Please invite women kasi ang mga give-aways namin ay mostly women stuff (facial GC, Spa GC, sports bra etc.)

    I’ll keep you posted for developments.

    Please post any concerns you guys have.

    FYI: We’ll be fully ready by Monday sa regs, but we are already accepting early registration.

    Guys, please prepare for the 16K route it will be a good training ground for those joining Milo. The 16K hilly route is almost if not harder than doing a flat 21K route.

    I even warm Jaymie (Pizarro) about it.

  29. @nelson: sakay kang jeep na byaheng gate 3 sa guadalupe then sabihin mo sa driver ibaba kasa sa mckinley, from there lakarin mo na lang kasama sa warm up mo :)

    @pinoy.ph: medyo marami pong nag-register over the past week, so di ko po masabi kung pasok po kayo sa 500, either or sa next 500 meron pa rin naman pong libreng Special K.

    heheh yung bib # namin 001 and 002 ng 16k

    Kailangan pa register agad, pang prepare sa milo.

    Hindi pa nga ubos yung premyo na nakuha ni misis sa world vision, meron pang dagdag na 2 box

  43. @Andrew Koa: From Market-Market kung may sasakyan ka, baba ka na lang ng C5 para sa Lower McKinley ang daan mo. Wala naman total road closure din sa Lawton so pwede rin don ang daan.

  46. we went to runnr bhs pero wala na palang singlet na available so we went straight to glorietta. luckily may mga singlet pa but wala na large, xl kinuha ko, sobra laki sakin, ORGANIZER, wala po bang pwedeng pagpapalitan ng singlet? There are still 3 of my friends na hindi na nagparegister since large din sila pero wala na available, sayang naman.

  50. @jose75: Sir advise po namin kayo if available na ang Large size. Don’t just hold on po muna with your singlet, and pwede nyo po yan papalitan sa outlet where you registered at.

  59. Nagparegister ako kanina sa RUNNR BHS pero wala ng available na singlet (XL na lng ata meron). txt na lng daw kung kelan magkakaroon. Sana maging maayos ito at hindi last minute ang pagbigay ng singlet. *fingers crossed

  60. We have registered at Tobys’ MOA with my wife but couldn’t get discount. This race has no timing chip. We should bring our own stop watch.

  61. ATENSYON!!! totoo bang walang timing chip accdg @nob. kailangan bang mag-isip-isip ang mga runners. organizers kindly clear naman po.

  65. @Kutkot, timing for this race is done using barcode. This means manual ang pag-time sa mga runners at usually ang results ay based sa gun time. Search mo na lng sa net for more details. :)

  67. @brian. Sir, may available na po kayang Large singlet sa Glorietta? Iexchange ko po kasi yung XL to L since nung nagparegister kami ay XL lang available. Thanks

  73. Sa 4 race events sa araw na ito, eto lang ang may medal. Mukhang okay nga. Medyo mahal pero pwede na rin. Pang training nga para sa Milo marathon…

    @Mej: Registration is til July 19 we are also giving out Kellogg’s Special K 45 grams.

  78. @I@nee: I will check with MOA, discount is given if you bring a girl and as for Free 45grams Special K, we are suppose to still have it in all regs sites. I will verify it in the morning, medyo marami rin kasing nag-register sa MOA so their allocated supplies could have been depleted na.

    @JayRUN: Medals are for 16K runners.

  82. pls pls lang paki info naman po: saan po ba pwedng magparegister(site)na walang hassel(ok availability ng singlets,race kits at freebies,etc)sa registration sa mga panahong ito? hahabol po sana kmi sa registration ng lola ko. gusto po niyang sumali para patunayan sa aming mga apo niya na kaya niya ‘to at malusog pa sya. maraming salamat at happy running po sa inyong lahat!

  87. @boknoy: We might not have on-site registration. We are trying to make sure na 100% ang race result and the only way to do this is to close regitration with an enough time to do encoding of all participants.

    Our goal is to make sure maganda ang experience ng lahat ng participants not just on race day but also post race (like results and photos).

  94. @Vertical Finisher I believe the organizers are the same peeps who organized Brooks Run Happy 2 so I have high expectations from them…

    Unless I’m wrong they are not the same peeps.

  95. same nga organizers nito with brooks 2, pero sila rin ung sa Reverse the Bad, and sa Bank Run, which will happen on the same date na July 22. why kaya sinabay sabay nila 3 event na inorganize nila?

  98. Hi Runners,

    Few more clarifications:

    You can only have P50 discount if you have a female buddy with you upon registration (both should register) and both are entitled for discount. Kindly advise if there are sites that didn’t or won’t honor you such.

    First 500 to register will have free cereal bowl and 205g Kellogg’s Special K; next 500 will have a cereal bowl and 45g Kellogg’s Special K; and the rest will have free 45g Kellogg’s Special K. (Stocks were divided and allocated among the registration sites). The availability of stocks in each outlet depends on the volume of runners that register there.

    Registration is until July 19. You can still register with your friends and get your free Kellogg’s Cereals.

    You can still exchange your singlet for the right size. Just bring your singlet on the sites where you registered. All Singlet sizes are available na po sa sites.

    We have finisher’s medal for 16k category. We don’t have finisher’s shirt po.

    Race route will be posted here too. I’ll post it too on the brand’s facebook page:Kellogg’s Special K Cereals, Philippines. You can check that out later.
