  2. Well, Nothing new with regards to the route. But got a PB 16k and received a 21k medal for it too. Good warm up for the year to come.

  3. I was informed by someone who is using a garmin that the 21K race is short of 1 Km. This is very disappointing. That’s why maraming naka-PR. sighaay

  4. Great PSE bull run. Done with 21k in 2:08. Enough hydration stations with manila water showers along the route :) well organized and started on time 5:15am.
    Generous give aways like 2 x pocari in can at the finish line. Nice finishers shirt as well. Good weather. The registration fee is value for money compared to other events. Hoping to have bullish PSE in 2012.

  5. Ok sa alright ang PSE BULL Run 2012. Wala ako masabe. Madming marshall. Kumpleto sa hydration at banana station, mdaming marshalls at may mga sprinkler. Lupet! Thx sa 21K medal at finisher shirt. Dahil maganda ung run, from 2:20 PR ko natapos ko ung takbo in 2:04. Thanks PSE. Sa uulitin!

  7. superb!…started with a prayer, followed by the national anthem.enough water stations, bananas, manila water showers , lots of marshalls, good weather..one thing makes me sad i was told..” maam sorry po, wala na 21k finisher shirt, kasi po may nagnakaw na mga bata, kung gusto nyo may 16k pa kami na available or isulat na lang po name and contact # tapos kami na po bahala magpadala.”..then i ask when? ang reply: di po namin alam basta kami na po bahala basta isulat na lang name and contact #. : (

I agree with Peter…muntikan pa nga ako madisgrasya kanina sa lubak kasi nga alang ilaw at madilim…other than that, full praises ako sa hydration at banana stations nyo sagana! galing atsaka gustong gusto ko ang medal at shirt…May request lang ako….ala kasi akong kasama kanina kaya halos wala ako picture…buti na lang may isang good soul na kinuhaan ako ng pic…ang facebook page daw nya ay rosemarie photography at i-like ko lang daw…tama ba ang spelling ko ng rosemarie kasi ayaw magregister ang page nya e…baka mayroon sa inyong may link…i would be grateful…Thank you sa lahat ng organizers..at sa mga napakacourteous na marshalls…this was a good way to start my running career in 2012

  17. Congrats sa ating lahat and sa PSE Bull Run organizers. Job well done guys. 100% recommended ang run nato. Hope ganito ang mga runs para ma uplift ang quality ng mga runs.

    Basics covered like hydration (COLD!), marshals, markers (though mas ok sana every 1 km hehe), on time ang gun start, huge clocks, very visible markers!

    Ang bonus na giveaway at medal at shirts, ganda and sagana!

  19. after running 21k, people from the claim booth says “sorry sir. walang ng finisher shirt.” I replied, “ANO! PU—- — NYO! ANO ITO LOKOHAN!(kailangan ko pang magmura sa kanila para maghanap ng 21k shirt. eh meron naman pala.)
    they answered,” kasi sir nag halo-halo na ang mga tshirt.”
    WHAT A REASON!
    HOY PSE, PAGSABIHAN MO YANG ORGANIZER NYO!
    you’re not new in running events.

  20. @batabatuta join us at pinoy fitness. just look for ms_mars. usually may dala sya balloons or kung san may group wearing the PF shirt. ganyan din ako dati, walang kasama sa takbuhan. nakiki-usap pa ko sa iba para kuhanan ako ng pic

  22. @ec ,good for you my finisher ka me and a group of female runners walang finisher shirts . i was assured by one lady ..she told me” si Ms Mary Ann Ringor po yung kausap ninyo kanina siya ang organizer isulat na lang ninyo names and contact #s kami na po bahala sa mga finisher shirts ninyo.” Some of the shirts were stolen daw…do hope and pray they will keep their promise. then my son whispered ma, may be they need it more than u hayaan mo sila.unbelievable ma,sa dami guards,people na nagbantay sa mga tents/booths na isahan sila? mga bata daw nagnakaw? few minutes later nasa taxi na kami on our way home ..hala nakita namin sa corner , around 6 to 7 persons naka orange shirts with PSE Bullrun 2012 loot bags, showing off the contents esp. black finisher shirts. :(

  23. @ec. Hindi mo naman kailangan mag mura. Finisher’s shirt LNG mumurahin mo pa yung mga marshals. That is a clear sign of disrespect and immaturity. Grow up man.

  24. @elvin-masugid akong tagahanga ng pinoyfitness.com ilang beses na rin tayong nagkikita kita in fact may t-shirt nyo ako…kaso di pa ako nakasali sa events nyo…pero sasali ako sa LSD ninyo sa 23Jan binati ko kanina si Ms.Mars ng advanced happy birthday….hehehe nabigla ata…nastarstruck kasi ako e hehhe

  26. It’s a very well-organized race and they really did listen to the errors of the past Bull Runs. I’m a first timer, but I read the comments of runners through threads posted on the net and I can picture the problems PSE had in 2011. They really took care of the hydration issue foremost and the security and safety as well.
    Hydration was never a problem as stations were more than enough and were strategically placed. Two types of hydration fluids were available to runners (Pocari Sweat and water). I never felt thirsty during the run because of this. Sometimes I just used the water I got to cool my head.
    A first for me to see at a race event were shower sprinklers at the race course. I specifically like this as I easily feel hot while at a race.
    Security was not so much an issue as a lot of race marshals were around to make sure no vehicular traffic will impede the runners from the race course.
    The race course was interesting as it included running the Fort Bonifacio-Buendia flyover which was quite a challenge to runners yet still enjoyable.
    I’m happy with the black goody ecobag I received when I finished my 16K race. It contains my finisher shirt, 16K finisher’s medal, certificate, a can of Century Tuna Vienna Sausage, an apple and a banana. Some extras I also received from sponsors were: a Citisec baller, magazines from Multisport and BGC, and a white visor from PSE.
    It was very busy at the staging area with people taking turns to have their pictures taken at the stage and an announcer informing the runners of raffle winners. There was also a bull ride challenge. It was very entertaining to see people having fun with it but I didn’t join as I already experienced it years ago and once was enough.
    I’m very satisfied with this race and am sure to join the race again next year, this time for the 21k or, if possible and if I’ve trained enough, a full marathon.

  28. di bale kulang ang distance at mejo madilim ang ibang lugar… basta maayos ang run, madami saging at tubig at pocari … maayos naman ang shirt at medal…. happy ang karamihan…
    so sorry to hear about those na naubusan diumano ng shirt dahil sa nakawan or anupaman… sana lang they will keep their promises…. yun nga… maganda na ang race… meron pa rin talaga mapupuna… di pa rin perfect…

  31. may napulot po akong hydration bottle na small..kulay pink ..sumisigaw po ako kung kaninu yun..kaya lang..malapit na ang gunstart ko..kaya tinabi ko na lang muna..inform me lang po kung kayo may ari nun..dont wori..di ko ininum yung laman..para alam ko kung kayo nga may ari nun..hehe..alam ko ang feeling na mawalan ng hydration..(handheld nathan ko) :)..kaya im willing to return it..saya saya ng pse run..next time ulit..

  32. great run to start the year. maganda distance between hydration stations and ganda ng route. sulit din sa price. 500 lang may singlet, shirt and medal na. thanks pse

    My first well-organized run this year. Good start.
    My first fly-over run.
    My first shower along-the-route run.
    My first sulit run. Finishers’ shirt with medal at less than 600 registration fee.
    My first superb weather condition run. The clouds are covering all the runners.
    My first time to see BOUNCERS running. Chasing a culprit boy who snatched a finishers’ kit to a runner.

  37. nanakawan ng loot bags ang PSE Bull Run? i thought may nagbabantay sa mga tents especially sa finisher’s kit area? they under estimate the situation. open field po ang BGC, kahit sino pede pupunta and even though may mga pulis ang marshals, naisahan kayo. i hope magawan po ito ng paraan kasi mamaya sa baggage area ang isunod nila.

  38. It was my first run for 2012 and it was bullish! KUDOS to PSE and the Bull Run and thank you for welcoming the year of the dragon with this well prepared event! All our thanks also to the sponsors for the very nice finisher’s shirt and medal, the every KM hydration stations with cold water and POCARI SWEAT, one station with mountain of bananas, and three trucks with water shower. Whew! Until next year and the years to come, cheers!!!

  41. short nga ang course kaya pala ang ganda ng time ko :)

    pero na break ko pa din ang best time ko sa 21k kahit na short kung compute ko sa pace ko so okay padin.

    Onga wag naman sana natin murahin mga staff, kahit ano pa yan, ang pag mumura po ay hindi magandang kaugalian. Tska para lang sa mga giveaway eh ma high blood pa tayo.

  46. I really had fun in this race, I finished my 16k in 1hr 30mins. Overall it was a well-organized event with all the essentials present (plenty of hydration + bananas, marshals all over the place, roaming ambulances, water showers). Though some lighting would have been more appreciated especially sa parts na madilim at malubak.

    I don’t know about the negative feedback about last year’s bull run, but this year looks like a success. Looking forward to future Bull Runs!

  48. The best ung run, madilim and medyo rough yung road!! That’s the part of the thrill, for the affordable price, wag na tayong mag-expect pa, sobra sobra ng nagawa nila. Thanks PSE. Another one, sorry to spoil the trend, meron bang may alam na kahit na anong link for the Sunpiology photos?! Bukod pa dun official site? Para xeng ang unti ng mga pics nila, hindi talaga ako matahimik eh.. Thanks guys, wala na xeng sumasagot sa trend ng sunnpiology.

  51. set new PR for 21km 1:58, well organized, except for the shirt twice ko sinabi na medium, binigay pa din large. pero that’s fine. its my fault din kasi di ko na check yung shirt, sa bahay ko na nakita. heheh..

  52. ay kulang pala ng 800 meters yung 21k happy na sana ko sa result ko, kulang pala. so kung sakto 21k malamang natpos ko yung run ng 2:03 mins. so mali pala yung 1:58.

    anu ba yan akala ko pa naman okay na. sablay pa din pala.

    feeling ko best in math ako sa kinder kasi dun sa strap ng medal. hehehe :)

  59. Yap kulang ng 800m ang 21K route pero okey parin dahil sub2 parin ako maski icompute ko pa hehehe. And new PR too for me. Congrats sa group natin PF team Mamaws and team Baby Mamaws for finishing our 2nd group run. Confirmed yung nakawan ng loot bags kasi ako mismo ang naka saksi. Mga bata yung nagnanakaw plus may mga lookers pa sila. Kaya next time maging alerto tayo sa ating kapaligiran. Congrats PSE!

  64. there were minor miscues such as dark route and limited shirt but overall i will rate the pse bull run at 9/10 considering the superb race support!

  65. Congrats sa lahat! great run. perfect weather. sayang naman ung mga hindi nabigyan ng shirt. kaso ako XL ang naibigay kasi daw ubos na. but the run was ok and cheap compared sa iba. di naman kailangan ng masyadong madaming perks. =D

  67. Well organized run, enough water/pocari stations. I loved the fact that we didn’t have to line up for the freebies, everything was in the bag already. My only complaint is that naubusan agad ng smaller shirts, puro L and XL lang available when I got there.

  68. Nice run. Sulit ung binayad ko sa 16K. Plenty of hydration. Well organized. Medal+finisher shirt+loot bag. Ung nga lang disappointed ang girlfriend ko, 5K tinakbuhan niya. Ang nakuha niya na giveaways ay Loot bag na ang laman ay two(2) bananas. Till now hindi siya maka move-on.

  76. @ PaPa B- yun yata yung nakita ko mga bata na tumatakbo tapos hinahabol ng isang Lalaki, nagulat nga ako kasi almost near nako sa finishline tapos sa likod ko may sumigaw ng hoy! hoy! tigil babarilin ko kayo! kinabahan ako bumilis yung takbo.

  77. nung una tinitira ng mga bata yung loot bags ng 16 at 21K. sinusungkit sa likod ng tent… sinaway ko tas nag-alisan naman bumalik pa pala.. pasaway na mga bata!

    Me and my wife had a great run…love the finishers shirt and the medal plus the reg fee @550Pph ok na ok. And yung mga showers 1st time ako naka-experience, it was really nice. Sana yung mga next run lalo na during summer season meron din showers..hehehe.
    Looking forward for next year’s run.

  81. It was a great run indeed! Good job to my team mates Team PF Mamaws and Team PF Baby Mamaws. I agree, kulang yung 21K course. My android app showed kulang ng 700 meters. But I set a new PR for myself kahit pa kumpleto yung course. My time yesterday was 2:21. Below 2:30 pa rin if ever and that’s a PR for me. Yay! Good job to my TBR batchmates dahil we paced each other from start to finish.
    Laki ng sizes ng shirt pero okay lang.
    I like the medal, okay yung hydration and maraming bananas.

Good start para sa yr 2012 well organized pse run medyo kulang nga yun route..kya maraming natuwa sa record nila, nice hydration,daming banana,daming pocari sweat lalo na finisher ng 21k dalawa agad binigay nakakawala ng pagod sana magawa ng ibang organizer ang PSE..may comment lang ako sa mga nagpapatakbo sa global sana wala ng rota sa madilim at mabatong lugar after ng I.S school..maraming nadisgrasiya na kababaihan yun din ang lugar na may baha last november (powerrun)…mabuhay ang PSE Bull Run..!!!

  90. ok lang po yan, just trying to help sa terms sa running:)

    question po:

    sa mga runs priority po ba ang runners sa mga intersections? Kasi may isang intersection sa Makati where an enforcer made us stop and pina cross mga auto.

    Hindi naman po na pile up ang mga auto sa intersection and nung malapit na kami sa intersection tska kami pina stop. Mga 10 seconds din siguro ang time na naka tigil kami.

    Na sigawan siya ng kasabay ko na runner. Though ako hindi kasi hindi ko alam sino ang tama. Sa mga veteran na po sa running, ano po ang rule sa ganito?

    Ang bet ko is mali si mr. enforcer?

    based on my previous runs involving Makati, priority talaga ang mga runners. but on some intersections, iba ang practice nila traffic enforcers. pag konti palang ang runners who will cross, pinapa-go nila ung mga motorists first before the runners.

    it so happend cguro na major intersection ung sa inyo thats why u guys had to wait for 10secs before crossing and resuming ur run.

    Kudos to the Organizers and other Race Staff for pulling off a great year starter run.

    No prob with hydration – thank u Pocari and Manila Water for the shower.
    Enough bananas. Yeyy may naabutan pa ko.
    Strategic Distance markers.
    Easily facilitated Baggage counters.
    Maayos na release of Finisher Kits.
    Medyo malaki nga mga shirts but loved
    the Design.
    Very nice and sparkly 16K and 21K Medals.
    Moderate race marshalls.
    Kala ko walang medic/ambulance. Meron pla.
    Hindi lang kasing dami.
    Kaka-aliw na Rodeo Bull attraction – true to its event title talaga,hehe.
    Kudos sa show hosts. short and simple ang awarding ceremonies. congrats to the Top Finishers including our Podium Queen –
    Coach Mherlz Lumagbas-Nava who took home 2nd place 10K Women’s prize. wohoo!

    Most of all, thank you Lord for a truly great, cool and cloudy race weather. Ang sarap tumakbo. Napansin nyo rin ba un?

  93. To all the guys and gals of PF Team Mamaws and Baby Team Mamaws,
    Congrats! and a big round of applause for running great yday. Very proud of you guys for our 2nd grp run from last year’s Oct Run. good to see most of the PF peeps are running faster and better now than ever. just keep it up and pls also be extra careful of not getting injured.

    Hanggang sa next Team Run ah? marami pa yan for sure. Kudos Allan_07 for helping organize the 2 PF teams na tumakbo.

  96. @twentyelevenrunner,pano mo ba ko matu-turuan nyan,tsaka pano kita mako-kontak,para maturuan mo naman ako ng mga terms na ga gamitin ko.para naman sa su sunod di mo na ko ma-correct nyan.

  97. Congrats sa lahat… Sa mga nakaPR, nakatapos, mga first time maglevel up, sa mga nahirapan, sa mga hindi, sa PF Mamaws(next time talunin nio ang Powerpuff) pati sa Baby Mamaws.. Happy New year..hahaha
