    Minimum donation is P150.00 Only. As a token of appreciation from the organizers, the highest donation made under one race number will get an overnight stay for 2 in Manila Pavilion Hotel with buffet breakfast.

  25. Wow, awesome prize for a run organized in such short notice. Paki-post din sa ibang pinoy running websites. I will definitely spread the word on my xmas parties. Can you show us the race map kahit borrowed from other races? I don’t usually run in BGC kasi e. Sana meron po ulet sa 2012 for Sendong victims. Imagine the sponsors and number of participants if you have more planning involved. Maybe even a Guiness contention! Everyone, post this in your gyms and anywhere you can!

  26. sayang 7 am ang out ko gustong gusto ko pumunta kung pwede lang magearly out,,will spread na lang and pray for the safety nang mga runners na for sure gagawin ang lahat makatulong lang sa kapwa,,for sure mga pf pipz pwede isuot na lang yung pinoyfitness shirt para magkita kita….more power to all and lets all pray na maging maayus ang lahat

  31. Only 1000 racebibs printed so far. We need volunteers to spread the word in facebook, on twitter, on print, radio and TV etc.

    Registration starts December26 at ROX and A Runners Circle (Roxas Blvd corner Quirino Ave).

  34. @greentennial….kung ako sa inyo…magset ng kayo ng additional provisions for race bib because from the looks of it…mauubusan kayo for the following reasons…

    1)This run for me is the easiest way to help out the victims of Typhoon Sendong. No government intervention. Just pure volunteerism from the running community.

    2)The mininum donation of Php150 is very affordable sa mga runners who spend Php500-Php1200 at race events.

    3)McKinley hill ang venue which is a good place to assemble runners from different areas since it is near EDSA and SLEX.

    4)Sa mga nag new year’s resolution to exercise in 2012…this will be a very good motivation to start that resolution in advance.

    5)After the Xmas celebration,people need to shed the calories consumed…knowing also na kakain sila ng marami kinagabihan.

    6)Sa mga runners talaga, this is the best way for us to end the year with passion…i mean who gets to run on 31 December diba? I know a lot of people are looking for an event pero walang available….merong isa kaso sa Bulacan naman…kaya im sure yung mga addict sa takbo matutuwa dito.

  35. If I may add,

    1.) not everyone who wants to run wants to buy the singlet so this being Php150 lang is a very good opportunity.

    2.) 5k is very attractive to those na hindi naman tumatakbo kaya yung mga magaalay-lakd maeenganyo dito.

    3.) The hotel accomodation is not even necessary but since it already there, im sure maraming gusto makuha yan.

    I have a feeling maraming magreregister dito on race day…sa friends circle ko pa lang….3 na kami and it only took me an 47 minutes…pano pa kaya dun sa mga running clubs

  38. sana we can donate thru bank even if we cannot come. nasa province kasi kami eh. but, kung andito kami…. go kami!

    i suggest na magkaron din na donation thru bank so yong hindi makakapunta na willing to donate eh makatunong rin.

  42. good intentions for a good cause . . . mabuhay Greentennial Run Organizers. Sana lahat ng Run Organizers magkaroon ng unity run to save victim Sendong like Pasig run & red cross. Hope next year may run “Save Northern Mindanao”

  59. This is a great event. I hope makapag-print out pa kayo ng maraming bibs. i think maraming jojoin sa event na ito and balak ko kasi on race day na magpa-register. Kudos to the organizer this will truly be beneficial to our kababayans

  60. im going here to donate and to run for a cause. i agree to greentennial, it is good if we see hydration station here but also bring your own energy drinks or water, we run here for donation’s so don’t expect water station around. see you guy’s and more power to sir rovic for having this event more meaningful to our brother’s and sister’s in iligan and cdo who’s victims of bagyong sendong.

    A Runner’s Circle is always close every Monday so registration at ARC will start Tuesday December 27.

  67. Given the very tight schedule at biglaan, wag na kayo mag expect na dagdag na categories or any more other than what the organizers posted.

    The idea here is to raise FUNDS for the victims. So wag na po tayo mag request ng kung ano ano. Too bad I cannot join since I will be in the province but I have done my part already in donating funds for the victims.

  68. @jajaboy, bukas dadaan kami ng high street vero, paparegister kami ni misis dito… kahit di na kami tumakbo, kase may pasok pa kami ni jajaboy 7am pa out… dito sa office namin nakapag donate na din kami ng mga damit at konting foods… nararamdaman ko ang lungkot sakanila, lalo na magpapasko…

  71. Tawagin nyo mga TV stations. I’m sure interested sila magcover ng story na ganito. Somebody e-mail Mr. Fernando Zobel, an avid runner and may donate a big amount. Judging from the number of thumbs up, I may have to rush to the registration venue on the 26th so I can still get a bib. Please print some more. It will be interesting to see how much money will be raised.
