  4. grabe..
    3k/5k runners – 1 slice of pizza
    10k runners – 1/4 slice of pizza

dapat 10k ang tatakbuhin namin ng wife ko, but given the situations, we decided na d na tapusin yung remaining 5k, so sa unang pagkakataon we failed to properly finish the run..buti na lang walang medal, we both know we wont deserve it

  8. it was dubbed as fun run so i was not expecting a good run just like the runs that are organized by experienced organizers. This is a fund-raising run and we thank Don Henrico’s for making an effort to reach out to the freeward section of PGH. But organizers need to improve on the race itself … no marshalls on every corner (traffic officers lang ng CCP ang utilized for traffic purposes only and they were not even oriented on the route); there are no kilometer markings … ni walang signages for “left turn” or “right turn” for the 3 categories. We hope that Don Henrico’s will get experienced organizer next time. By the way, thanks for the nice freebies.

  9. Ok sana yung run for the benefit naman ng sagip buhay. Good Job Don Henricos for the post run kits, kahit maliit un pizza pwede naman bumalik.
I agree sa ibang comments kakalito yung route. Kulang ng marshals and signages.

  10. was just wondering where i can see the results..i’m a first time runner kaya diko ma-compare from other fun runs..pero pansin ko lang, la nga signages at marshalls around kaya mejo na-lost ako..i signed up for a 5K run pero feeling ko maigsi yung tinakbo ko =) howell, am still happy im able to help..congrats still to don hen and the rest of the group who worked hard for this =)

  11. CONS:
    1) no marshalls or signages to guide the runners (macapagal cor buendia was a disaster)
    2) placement of hydration stations (good thing it was raining)
    3) lack of marshalls to give the lap ribbons (5k green straw ribbons were left in the ground kanya-kanyang kuha)
    4) change in the originally planned race route
    5) few to none race photographers
    6) parking and heavy traffic

    1) Sagip Puso beneficiary
    2) Free Pizzas, coffees, groceries, meds
    3) photobooth
    4) great route if not for the traffic
    5) gatorade station
    6) nice location of start/finish and activity area

overall it was a nice run naman. lots of room for improvement. but we had a blast. thanks!

  12. yeah disappointed din ako with the organizers. walang marshalls pati route and distance signage tapos open to traffic pa. kung may kasunod pa ‘to next year sana mas maayos na.

  13. Not bad for a first time organization, but needs improvement for sure. I had only 8.5K so added another part of the loop to end at 10.4K, so in terms of route, marshalls, etc. it was confusing. More than 1 person went the wrong way. And next time try to close roads for traffic.

  14. I also noticed that the fun run started earlier than what was published. It said 10K gun start is at 4PM. It wasn’t even 4PM when I saw the 5K runners along Roxas blvd.

Anyways, I had a lot of fun. What matters is that we helped those patients in PGH.

  15. Thanks for the nice freebies and pizza I was just concerned a lot of 5k runners missed the turns on Jalandoni and Sotto streets because of lack of signs and they just ran the 3k route without realizing it. I didn’t mind the rain. I will still run if there’s one next year because of the good cause. Sana lang po mas organized next time. Thanks
