  2. konting excited kasi malapit lang s place namin to ahehehe im more scared? (i call it) to join just in case coz it`s going to be my VERY first, ok lang kaya to join even if im a newbie?

May 14 po start ng registration, its just may 12 today…

    Kita-kits!!

  5. Hi! interested ako mag join,,together with a few friends. More power to all runners..

    Thanks in advance..

  7. @JM, diet: from cubao meron jan FX papuntang san mateo…just tell the driver na ibaba kau sa bungad o sakayan ng tricycle papasok o paakyat ng timberland heights…ung problem lng ay bihira ang pumapasok na tryke sa Timberland dahil medyo hirap cla o kung papayag man may kamahalan ang singil. pero that was last year sana di na ngaun kahirap ang transpo doon.

  8. Another new venue for me. Sasalihan ko ‘to. As much as possible, no more MOA, BGC and Roxas Blvd runs for me, they are all monotonous routes and often used-up venues for commercialized runs. Next stops are Marikina’s Run for Humanity and Camp Aguinaldo’s “Camp Run” by X-Tribe.

  9. too bad… im from baguio and i wanna join but theres no online registration… really dont have time to go down just to register..

  10. @Butch I am also from Baguio, fortunately I’ll be going to Manila next week, right timing para makaregister, :) Sa San Mateo rin ako nag stay pag nasa Manila ako..
for those asking for the directions:
    1) going to Quezon City- sakay kayo ng byaheng San Mateo tapos ask the driver na ibaba kayo sa may Mercury Drug San Mateo, malapit sa papuntang 9waves, sakay kayo tricycle papuntang timberland
    2) going to Cubao – Sakay kayo ng FX going to San Mateo and same directions as above..
    I hope this helps.. :)

  11. hi, looking for running buddy… female, below 30, lean, pretty, and with pleasing personality! lolx!

  12. registered na rin ako! sad part is kailangan pa bumalik para iclaim yung race kit. pero ok lang, still excited! my first ever 21k and first time running off road… good luck na lang sa katawang lupa ko. =P

^_^ .. please help .. birthday ko to baka umuwi akong sugatan :(

  14. @Miles, based on the pictures i saw in google, trails are mostly wet. the event is on june 18, rainy season should be there. i also saw stiff trails with loose soil. pero overall, i think it’s safe. adavanced happy birthday!

  15. @Miles. It’s an off-road race, your 21K run could be equivalent to a 32 K run for added efforts in climbs, extra push and the risk factor.

  16. oh no! think i underestimated this. this would be my first ever 21k, let alone it’s off road. did i just f**k myself with this? di bale i can care less if i walk to the finish line =P

  17. Watch in Youtube with subjects biking/trail running at Timberland Heights Montalban. You’ll get an idea of how the terrain looks like.

  18. @toots – thanks for the info.. thanks also for the greetings.. goodluck for your first 21K ^_^

@Rotech – if ever it would be my second 21K, with your info ..i need to think twice if i will be running for 21K or just stick with my usual 10K .. haist .. but one thing for sure … miles.. will definitely run for this event. :)

    Thanks for the info guys!

  19. Kinakabahan naman ako, hindi sa
    distance, hindi rin sa risks,,,
kundi sa pag punta. Panu pumunta
    timberland pag galing the fort?
Baka ma- late ako at ma disqualify!
Haha… Pde bng gabi plng magpunta
na dun? At san kya pde m2log?
    Haha

  20. me, 11pm plang alis n ako (from pasig) kpag may holdaper, snatcher or strangers i will run nlng as fast as i can. Hahaha…

  21. pls. visit the website of timberland heights.. may map doon..

  23. Exciting to…I like this one,,very challenging. hope to see you guys..maybe this time I will be in the top 20..
Its my first time here..hopefully first time will be a fruitful one..hope to see you there…Good luck…

  24. @jp where did you try to register? i registered sa trinoma 2 weeks ago..pde naman rep lang.. in fact ako lang nagpa register sa brother ko since he is in la union.. i asked jay if needed pa authorization when claiming the singlets di naman daw..

  25. sali ako dito, newbie sa off road na running at tlgang newbie pa lang kasi last april lang ako start tumakbo, at nagustuhan ko agad! sana di ako ma late sa pag punta ng timberland!

  26. got my race kit! nice singlet in terms of design but kind of crap in the production. daming sobrang sinulid at yung rubberized design medyo smudgy.

@Yerffejice, @duss… first time ko din if ever. anong category kayo? ako 21k, though i only run during fun runs and 10k only. sana maging ok lang ako sa run na ‘to…

  27. wow! exciting toh, pero i only have running shoes, really need ba trail shoes and other things na pang mountain? sori, 1st time to this.

  28. @duss: pack up all your available things in this event, hindi natin alam ang environment sa timberland, iba na ang laging handa, lets have fun buddy k?

  29. Hi,,Me and my friends decide to rent a van going to timberland heights. We just need 2 more, 2 hundred per head. Back and forth na yun. Boni ave to timberland and vice versa. text me at 09273669671 if interested. Thanks.. See you at the trail.

  30. @jm, hi, do you still have a slot on your rented van? Im interested in a ride with you, if you don’t mind. thanks.

  31. @Ms_Mars, thanks, thanks. would really have to take ample caution. see you in Mizuno. It seems that a number of runners have been enticed to your flock, or should I say “Our” flock. hehe

  33. @sario
being here at Pinoyfitness is a humbling experience would you believe?

haha, i guess id prefer “our” flock or the growing number of runner friends from here and everywhere…

this Sat ha, i know you have a very big running delegation to represent but pls dont forget to kita kits muna with your PF buddies at the Technical Booth okies?

  34. @sario

    @all
3 more slots are still available..
rented van going to timberland heights and back to boni ave..200 per head..

  35. just got trail shoes from merrel, sana may shuttle lalo na sa mga taga south na tulad namin. sayang naman registration kung di makakatakbo kasi hirap sa location. sana mag provide sila ng ride coming from alabang..

  36. Update from the Organizers:

    Shuttle Bus- P250

    Departing BGC to Timberland Heights
    Bus 1: 3:00 A.M
    Bus 2: 3:15 A.M.

    Departing Timberland Heights to BGC
    11:15 A.M.

For those commuting to Pure Gold San Mateo, there will be free jeepney service going to Timberland Heights and back.

  37. thanks pinoyfitness for the update.

  38. For those people who will be coming from north or dont want to go to BGC for the shuttle service, We are renting a van. Pick up point is on Robinson’s pioneer Boni ave, and pick up time will be at 3:30am. Fare is only P200 two way..pm me or text me at 09155923895.Thanks.

  39. To the organizers:
How far apart are the hydration stations and where exactly are the medic stations?
Lastly, are we going to cross rivers or creeks (in other words are we going to get wet)?
We need answers so that we can prepare adequately.
    Thanks.
    Ben
