In observance of the World Day Against Child Labor (WDACL) this June, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Regional Office III invites everyone to join “Takbo Para sa Batang Malaya!”, a meaningful sunset fun run happening on June 7, 2025 (Saturday) at CDC Parade Grounds, Clark, Pampanga.
Organized as the official kick-off event for the month-long WDACL celebration, this run aims to raise awareness about the plight of child laborers and to strengthen the call for a child labor-free Philippines. Participants can choose from 10K, 5K, or 3K categories, with all runners receiving a race shirt, bib, medal, and neon bracelets.
By running together, communities and advocates can amplify the movement to uphold every child’s right to safety, education, and a brighter future. Registration is open to the public via MY RUNTIME or onsite at Decathlon SM Clark.
