Marking a monumental moment in the history of Occidental Mindoro, the Save The Tamaraw Ultramarathon proudly stands as the region’s first-ever ultramarathon event. Scheduled for October 14, 2023, the race aims to celebrate and contribute to the “Special Month for the Conservation and Protection of the Tamaraw in Mindoro.” Presented by Mindoro AdvenTours, Running Mangyan, and Denr Tamaraw Conservation Program, the event is a collaborative effort in partnership with San Jose LGU & Rizal LGU, and in cooperation with Harabas.
Participants can choose from three challenging distances: 35KM, 50KM, and 80KM, starting from San Jose Town and culminating at the Tamaraw Genepool Farm. The event embodies the spirit of “Juan for Tamaraw, a movement for everyJuan,” inviting all to be part of this historic and meaningful endeavor.
