The Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) is thrilled to announce the much-anticipated return of its annual charity event, the PBA Fun Run, rescheduled on the 22th of October, 2023, Sunday, at 5:00 AM. Taking place at the scenic Bridgetowne Destination Estate in Quezon City, this year’s run is designed to appeal to both fitness enthusiasts and casual participants alike. With a variety of race categories—including a 1KM pet run, 3K, 5K, and 10K—the event promises an inclusive and family-friendly atmosphere.

Since its inception twelve years ago, the PBA Run has been more than just a sporting event; it has been a tradition of giving back. Over the years, it has primarily supported the Cancer and Hematology Center of the Philippine Children’s Medical Center, donating valuable resources such as four chemotherapy machines, additional beddings, and other essential medical equipment.

This year, the PBA is expanding the reach of its altruism. The funds raised from the event will go towards a wide array of community-based Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects slated throughout the season. This includes basketball clinics, soup kitchens, educational scholarships, and hospital visits, all under the banner of the PBA’s long-standing Alagang PBA program.

The race kit includes a singlet, a race bib with a timing chip, and for those participating in the dog run, a bandana. Additionally, all participants will receive a loot bag and a finisher’s medal.
