Minsan lang ang ganitong event na nag ke-cater to all women. Ang bitter talaga tong mga lalake magcomment dito, e ano naman kung pambabae lang ‘to? Ang daming running events jan na pwede niyo salihan, duh, katapusan na ba ng mundo niyo kung may Nike All-Women Race? This kind of event empowers us women, go for girl power!

Been a fan of the Nike events and matagal na yung Nike Womens Race. It’s high time na magkaroon nun dito. Siguro nga it’s unfair to men na abangers sa Nike Run, but then again hindi na naming kasalanang mga girls yun kung bakit biglang meron nito. So no to boycott! I’m definitely joining this and for sure, may half-mary ‘to… Excited much!
Stop the bitterness na and just support this event by encouraging your wife, girlfriend, sisters, daughters and mothers to join. True runners will encourage others to run, instead of boycotting this race. :)

I believe the intention is for Nike to highlight women since – let’s face it – Nike and sports in general have always been “male-dominated”. I think it’s about time that women’s fitness gets it share too. :) Go ladies!

what is it with men complaining na di sila kasali… one event and you guys are throwing a freaking tantrum… eh dapat nga yata kayo na lang ang tumakbo sa event na ito dahil daig nyo pa ang mga babae in whining… it’s a race for women whether nike’s intention is honoroble or not we are not entitled to question their motives… Last year walang nike we run… so many whined na parang tayo lang ang anak ng diyos kaya dapat tayo meron… ngayon meron na… nagkataon lang na pang babae we are whining again na parang ang mga male species lang ang anak ng diyos na kailangan meron din kami… its just simply pathetic…

Hi polka! same here, wifey was able to reg last Monday, but still no buddy code. Already emailed nike & rio about this; no reply yet. Looks like nagka problem system nila :-(. My guess on the preview code is that Nike needs to allow “VIP” to register first hehehe

Hello! Your buddy will be the one to receive the buddy access code. Ask her to check her email. If none, contact runrio. Give your registration ID and receipt number. Ganun po ginawa ko. Just don’t expect lang na they will reply to you ASAP :)

For those people who feel like its unfair of nike to hold a women’s run, I would like to point out that this endeavor of nike has been around for some years already, hindi nga lang included ang manila.
For those asking to boycott the event kasi di nasunod gusto nila, get over your feeling of self entitlement. Host a running event of your own, why don’t you?
Anyway, makikita yung buddy code sa email na ipapadala ng nike dun email add ng running buddy.

hindi inannounce ng nike ung finishers entitlements eh, im hoping meron. :) pati yung “loot” bag contents hindi din announced. actually wala din ngang picture nung singlet haha :) since its nike, we should trust that it should be good enough to run in, i guess.

i registered on the 18th, nareceive naman ng buddy ko yung nike email nung 20th, i guess nagkakadelay lang, pero they will send it :) yun nga lang ang worry ko noon is nagkakaubusan ng sizes.
