Event Reschedule FAQ
“What if there’s another typhoon or any other safety issues on the rescheduled date?”
– For everyone’s security the Buddy Run will no longer push thru this year if there will be signal number 2 alert or any safety issues within Metro Manila. Please keep your race kits intact as these will serve as your registration for next year’s run.

“I have work/other plans on August 10, what should I do?”
– We recognize that some participants may not be available during the rescheduled date of the 6th Robinsons Supermarket Fit and Fun Wellness Buddy Run. We hope you understand that the particular date was the best we could do in terms of rescheduling for the location of event, suppliers and the all the organizers and other parties involved. Participants still have the option to claim their loot bags if they can’t make it on August 10 (Please wait for further announcement on when and where to claim it).

– Thank you for your interest in joining the run. Race kits have been sold out since June 16. Please join us next year.

1K – Php 200/pair*
5K – Php 1,200/pair

  18. Magkano ba reg fees nito dati? Baka kaya nagtaas kasi nagtaas din ng presyo yung mga laman ng grocery nila, hahaha. Will join this one with my wife!. :)

  22. Last year, P1,000 for 5K and P1,200 for 10K. Ok lang naman siguro na magtaas sila. Freebies pa lang pagdating sa finish line, solb ka na. Kung masipag ka pang pumila sa mga booth, daig mo pa ang nag-grocery. Tatakbo ako nito.

    Kung medal ang hanap mo, hindi para sa’yo ang buddy run na to.

  27. @Mehlairunrun: Hahahaha… oo nga kelangan nga magdala ng loot bag… pero last year bago magsimula ang race may cloth bag na pinamimigay sila. Since nadeposit na namin ang mga bags namin sa baggage counter at that time, no choice kami kundi kumuha na rin kaya habang tumatakbo bitbit namin yong bag.

  41. @eXtribe, are the prizes from 1-5 per category? Halimbawa 5K, 1-5 for all men, 1-5 for all female, 1-5 male/female?

  43. attention po sa ORGANIZER: Hindi po ba masyadong tanghali na ang gunstart masyadong mainit na yan.baka maraming mahimatay.

    • Yung 8AM na gunstart is para sa 1km run. Then ung 10k is 5AM. Naduling poh ata kayo ng pagkakabasa ng details sa poster, hehe. Hope this helps… :)

  51. hi need a buddy 5k or 10k. more than a month palang ako sumasali sa race.

    5k – 30 mins time ko
    10k – 1 hr. time ko

    hindi masyado mabilis pero my time pa nman to improve sa practice.
    kung my interested reply na lang dito asap. QC area sana para we can practice sa qc circle or amoranto oval pag may tiime sa weekend. thanks..

  52. Good day, 1Dong. Was just thinking of how to get a partner for this run, too. I didn’t join the one last year because of the need for one. Their requiring partners and simultaneous finishes makes it hard to join this.

    These are my average times:
    5K 25-28 mins
    10K 58-60 mins

    Am not sure of joining this yet but it is possibility I don’t find any other better one to join. Hassle kasi kailangan pa ng partner. Even those with many friends who run may have a hard time finding a partner with similar finishing times.

    One thing though, I have to admit, tamad ako pagdating sa training. Bad habit ko is that I’m a Sunday race runner. I just show up and run races. But my finished times are consistent. If there is no good race I won’t run for two weeks til the next race. Kaya hindi ako bumibilis ha ha. I just enjoy running races. It’s like you’re running with a pack of wolves.

    Will keep checking schedules for runs but I will consider this also. If I decide to join this at wala ka pang partner for this at the time I decide, will contact you.

  53. im in……nagsasanay n para s 5k…target time 20mins kahit top 20 ok n…..baka posible gawin nyo top 10-15- ung premyo? heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee hiwalay dapat ung mga dayuhan s mga pinoy?!

  58. Extribe – magreplenish naman poh kayo ng singlet sizes for 10k dito sa Forum Robinsons. Naka ilang balik na ko pero wala pa ring Small and Large na sizes para samin ng buddy ko eh. Thanks poh. :)

  61. Wala ng slots sa Forum and Galleria. Sana maglipat naman kayo dun ng slots since ang dame pa daw slots sa ibang site. Mas madali kasing pumunta dito since nasa kahabaan lang sila ng EDSA compare sa other reg sites. Please consider. Thanks!

  62. d nga maganda ung reg sites nila….dapat mag-extra sila open s bawat run? hheheheheeeeeeeeee hindi kasi patas at makatarungan…….lalo s ibang lugar na walang store nila or napakalayo pa nila?!…………..

    • Hi ej, thanks for your inquiry. We have replenished the singlets to almost all of the stores. There are still slots for 10k and 5k but please register earlier as the slots may run out soon. Thanks again and we hope to see you all there! :)

    Just want to inquire kung ano mga need na info’s and requirements kasi magpapasuyo lang kami magparegister sa friend na malapit sa place at malayo po kami sa registration sites eh.

  66. Nakaregister na kami ng buddy ko. Unfortunately, Large na lang ang biggest size. Malamang di namin gagamitin yun, hahaha… Ganun talaga pag medyo late nagparegster

  72. Hanap po ako k buddy first timer din po for 10K sna po girl ung k buddy kasi nga po first time ko hehehehe txt me at 09331582746…..

  75. extirbe inc.. as per observation.. mga non-filipino ata ang humahakot ng mga awards sa marathon.. sana bigyan din ng restrictions ang mga non-fil when it comes sa mga ganitong event.. most of the participants ay filipino tapos non-fil ang makikinabang ng prized… this is unfair..

    sabihin na nating they can join.. pero hindi clah qualified for a slot in the 1st, 2nd , 3rd place..

    • question lang po… so having a podium finish for these foreigners is unfair because they run faster (due to their training, they’re physically gifted and other aspects)?

      i’ve joined other big running events and even some local marathons, meron silang open and local category sa longest distance (open category for top 3 finishers, local category for top 3 local finishers)….

      tsaka kaya lang naman madalas manalo mga kenyans kasi madalas silang sumali at yung mga pinoy na kayang tumapat sa kanila e hindi madalas sumali…. simpleng-simple di po ba ^_^

      if foreigners win, it’s because they run fast on a running event (and unfortunately for most of us, we don’t run that fast)… pero naniniwala pa din ako na one day may pinoy na tatalo sa isang foreigner sa takbuhan :)

  82. regardless ba ng gender ang ka-buddy? i mean kahit female can team-up with a male runner? may prize money ba ito aside sa mga freebies at trip to Indonesia and Palawan? thanks!

  88. sana top 20 s pinoy at top 3 lang sa dayuhan plus di nila makukuha ung top 1 para patas????? heheheheheee kahit medal at extra give aways n lang…..malabong matalo kasi ung mga dayuhan?

  99. Race Advisory: as of 9:30pm Robinsons Buddy Run is CANCELLED due to bad weather and for safety. Please stay tuned for the official statement from the organizers

      • As announced by PAGASA in their bulletin as of 5pm, Metro Manila is under storm signal no#2 and is expected to experience moderate to heavy rain fall until tomorrow. Due to this, Robinsons Supermarket has decided to cancel the Fit & Fun Run scheduled for tomorrow, 30 June. We apologize for this inconvenience but this is totally beyond our control and most importantly, we do not wish to risk and compromise the safety of everybody. In consideration for your continuous support and participation, in addition to the singlet already provided to all participants, we shall also be providing each registered participant the customary loot bag given at the end of the race. We would like to ask you to preserve your individual race bib for control and identification purposes. We will issue further announcements on where and how loot bags may be claimed soonest. We pray for everyone’s safety. Thank you.
