Nakapag explain na ng side yung organizers na JME sa Takbo.ph. So lahat ng concerns natin kung related sila sa dalawang organizers na sinasabi nyo eh nasagot na nila…

Porket pareho ng design ng singlet, pareho na ng Organizer, agad agad.. di ba pwede bigyan ng chance ang Organizer.. for info lang po ganito rin kaya yung design sa Run for Hope 2013 at yung sa Run for ten last Januay ganito rin design
Hehehe pag ganito pala ang design.. pag iisipan ko mabuti kung sasali ako hahaha

#15, I too want to give them the benefit of the doubt, but that horrible statement in takbo.ph only made things worse for them. Pwede ba yun accidental lahat ng “coincidences”: same uncommon route, same singlet, same people, etc. etc. I just hate people who take advantage of others. They better not be Pure Concept nor Phoenix, and they better not f* up this event.

comment: Kung so Mr E pla ung supplier ng ilan sa mga items eh nku po, mag isip isip tayo Katakbuhan kc bka as in baka low quality items yan. Singlet na matigas at panget na finisher shirt. sabe pa nga ni bearwyn sa enviro run na ininform daw sya ng organizer na wag sila sisihin sa Finisher shirt kase kasalanan daw nang mananahi un. kc hindi nila natapos on time..bakit naman ung mananahi ang sisihin namin eh kaya nga may organizer diba. sila dapat ung nagsasaayos ng mga detalye ng patakbo nila.. as in lahat.

will definitely run here…. just because it’s near to my place (C5 ext. is my training ground). twice or thrice a week ako dito. suporta na rin para ma expose yun C5 ext sa mga takbuhan..

to those who will join, just to be safe, bring your own hydration bottle lalo na sa 16k (baka sa “tabo” na naman tayo uminom). although wala naman masyado motorists sa C5 ext pag sunday… DO NOT… i repeat, DO NOT RELY too much sa marshalls na mga traffic enforcers lang ng parañaque or las piñas… mga hindi marunong yan.

nag join ako sa Springboard Run last year (Pure Concept “dis”-organized run)… i remember the cons: naawa ako sa mga runners na wala hydration stuff kasi kulang yun water stations (good thing may dala akong fuel belt) at walang cups… kapos yun 16k (di baleng sobra wag lang kapos)… yun marshalls walang pakelam… may tumatakbo pa binuksan sa motorists yun C5. medal is so-so… finisher shirt pinamigay ko lang.

Bigyan nalang lahat ng finishers medal. Pati 5k categories. Lahat ng runners. Lam nyo na mga dapat gawin organizer. Para naman maprove nyo na iba kau sa naiisipnla. Its ur chance. I will join here kung lahat categories may finishers medal and shirts. Thanks

Pero hanggang ngayon kahit first name wala akong nakukuha. Binanggit ko pa nga full name ko in the spirit of fairness and transparency pero wala rin. I really don’t know why hesitant sila magbigay ng pangalan. Kaya hindi ko masisisi ang iba na magduda.

Very suspicious ang behaviour nila towards this. They dodge and offer vague data and do everything except be direct and forthright. I think we need admin intervention on this. It cuts both ways. It will either save this event if they are indeed innocent (kasi kawawa naman sila if all our doubts are proven false) or save us from the shady people who take advantage of us.

as of now eh tlaga yatang ignore lng tayo ng organizer na to.. sa mga interested na sumali dito eh mag isip muna kayo dhil until now eh di nyo kilala kung sino ang dapat nyong pasalamatan kung OK ung patakbo at kung sino din ang dapat nyong habulin pag pumalpak ito. may nabasa pa ko dun sa kabila sa takbo na parang may nag ka sagutan pa. kase ba naman parang todo naman kung ipagtanggol nung isa ung organizer na ito. eh kahit sya nga mismo hindi din kilala tong organizer na to.. tinamaan ng magaling…
@SBS – tama ka.. pero mukang wala talaga tayo mapapala sa organizer na to.. bhala n lang sila humusga kung gusto talaga nila tumakbo dito.. let’s wait na lang sa result.

For those without cars, one may take the jeeps that ply the Baclaran-Sucat route.

much easier kung mag jeep ka na lang from Monumento to Lawton… near Post Office may terminal ng FX going to Sucat… sakay ka ng biyaheng Sucat… sabihin mo sa driver ibaba ka sa Olivares Mall (landmark Air Force One) then tawid ka na lang papasok sa event venue… or baba ka sa SM Sucat then warm up run ka papunta sa event (more or less 2k run :) )… FX fare P35

And where is your company profile and other supporting documents.
With all due respect and with the benefit of the doubt, but this is a really shady way of conducting an event. Anyway, I and some friends will run this. Please, for your sake, don’t be Phoenix or Pure Concept and don’t mess up the event. We will be watching your every move. See you there.

Ang tanong ko kung sino. It would have sufficed if he answered “Amcham”. Ang assumption ng “Run fo X” is that part of the reg fee will go to X. But since he answered it that way, ngayon duda na rin ako sa kung benefit rub nga ito. Mag-isip ka kahit konti. Wag takbo lang ng takbo, kasi maraming manloloko. O jme ka din? sketchers store paparegister? parang may sinalihan din akong takbuhan ngayong taon na sa sketchers ang registration at sa tiendesitas ginawa ang race. if you happen to be in that race too, you know what i mean.

@IamRunner kung galing k ng C5 dyan n lang kayo dumaan s edsa papuntang naia road pag lagpas ng NAIA makikita nyo n yung airforce one malapit s Duty Free doon ang venue, kung mag SLEX kyo bka mapamahal pa kayo, C5 extension pagnakita mo yung flyover s tapat ng sm sucat yun ang c5 extension.

Reiterate ko lang about the FINISHER MEDAL design… Sana naman may nakalagay kung ilang kilometers ung tinakbo. I hope you make modifications to the Medal Design. And make sure na hindi xa plastic.

And another thing, nasan po ung design ng FINISHER T-SHIRT?

…Nag registered na rin kami….wala ng ibang matakbuhan this Sunday…Fat Run naman is all about Obstacle Course at yong Rip the Road Leg 3 naman ay last na ata of their 5 event run. Kung totoo man yong mga Nega Comment siguro natuto na yong Organizer na to kung sila man ito. Just Like BDO,na huli na rin kami nag decide because of the comments pero it turned out OK naman. Today is judgement day. Maganda kaya kinalabasan ng run or otherwise? Ngayon natin malalaman competence ng organizer pure concept, team phoenix o jme man sya.

Lesson learned from this run. Makinig sa comments tungkol sa organizer. Ang daming palpak dito. Mga pinaka malalaking kapalpakan dito ay

1. walang portalet
2. walang medic
3. walang marshalls na nagda-direct ng traffic ng mga sasakyan. kasabay namin ang mga motorista sa daan
4. at ang pinaka… sobrang walang isang salita ang organizer dito.

JME Cainta runner.. wag tangkilikin ang patakbo nito.

Contrary to point no. 2 of runningbutete, meron naman medic kaya lang naka-standby lang sa finish line :) For the rest, I agree. To add up, they lack road barriers. Race marshals were not in proper identification (Not even IDs), naka pang party attire sila. Yon downhill sa SM Sucat, very dangerous, walang marshall dun sa merging traffic. You have to look back before crossing. And finally, a runner’s crowning glory, yon finisher’s shirt sana may print nung run category (That’s something a runner will be proud wearing) Just my two cents, organizers… Your areas of improvement. Thanks.

hmm ok naman kanina ah yn lang walang portalet at konti lang marshall nag guide sayo my mga sasakyan dumadaan pero halos mga bikers marami pero pwede ka naman gumilid, Ok yng finisher shirt and sun visor at medal, marami din hyration station, napansin ko lang marami din ng jogging dun sa area na yn, Overall good naman sya, fun run kasi eto so kung sakin lang gusto ko lang talaga tumakbo to stay fit sa halagang 850 sulit na sakin. :D yan ay opinion ko lang.

im a noob at this but it was clear na maraming areas for improvement..my wife doesnt even run but when she saw the event..she thought it was “un

actually ang pinaka naging concern ko dito is yung walang maxadong tumakbo…. ang tahi-tahimik maxado na akala mo eh walang FUN RUN sa lugar…. if i look at my back, no one is following me and if i look at my front, i am not following anyone either… SO SAD RUN! Haha :D

ok po ung event kaso napansin ko sami di nkaregister na pbali balik kumukuha ng freebies grabee ang lulupit to think n puro babae pa cla huh!

This run went exactly as I expected – a total mess!

Before I, some friends and some runners during the event pursue any serious actions, I would like JME to address some specific questions that might help defer or suspend our action:

1. Are you the same groups as Pure Concept and Phoenix?
2. Who is your group’s president or leader or representative and how may we reach him?
3. Why were there no portalets, marshals, and medics along the race route? These are basic requirements, and something that you promised in your promo for the event. For your fee (PHP 850.00 for 16k), these things are automatic. Not to mention the safety issues that runners encountered during the run.

The amount of disaster unfolding left and right during the run was of comical epic proportion that I would have laughed had I not known any better. A patently dishonest, deceptive, irresponsible, and disreputable group like you should be stopped and held accountable.

PS. How can anyone in their right minds claim that this run is “overall good” and “sulit”?!! If you are part of the organizers, please be decent enough to allow an authentic discussion in the forum. For shame!
