  1. nag-register ako online, i understand hindi nagpush tru yung sa chris sports, where and when can i pay and get my race kit, neither did i receive any call nor an email except the one saying i successfully registered. anybody could help habang me pambayad pa ko, hehehe

    I hope the problem with on-site registration at Chris Sports outlets is not a sign of things to be expected during the run. Far too often “unavoidable circumstances” and “beyond our control” have been used as easy excuses when problems arise. But are they really? Usually often these circumstances are actually avoidable and controllable with proper contingency planning.

  9. Hi, Alvin!

    We were ready to go and about to deliver our race kits to the Chris Sports outlets when we were told that there was no memo yet from their head office. (They had a Thanksgiving party during that time and no one seemed to facilitate the memo). This made us frustrated.
    We used the kind words, “unavoidable circumstances” and “beyond our control” so as not point our fingers to Chris Sports as the culprit why the on-site Registration with them was put on-hold.

    We believe it is not ethical to blame them since this is a Partnership, with either party not shelling out money. Besides, we believe that both of us have good intentions to serve the running community.
    Nevertheless, we readily proceeded with Option B, which was to activate another Registration Site Partner. We already have, ROYAL SPORTING HOUSE and REEBOK which will start on Jan.24.

    While waiting for the Jan.24 On-site Registration with our NEW registration Partner, we, Jearnest Sports Corporation, thought of providing Special Delivery of Race Kits (in even a wider scale, as far as Cavite area) to give service to the running community especially to those who have already reserved their slots at our FB Fanpage. We could have just waited for the Jan.24, but we DID NOT. We are super excited to serve all of you to the best of our abilities hence we conducted Special Delivery arrangements.

    Sometimes things really happen beyond our control, and instead of blaming others which will only do no good, what is important here is how we dealt with that “unavoidable circumstance” . We believe that we are professional enough in handling the situation and at the same time quickly provided remedies and solutions to it.

    We understand your worries and we do not blame you for saying such comments. Your concern is also our concern. We assure you, and the whole running community, that our historic OFW RUN will be a memorable run and will raise the bar of what a fun run should be, both COMPETITIVE and really FUN!

  11. Got my race Kit, nice singlet, yun nga lang medyo maliit yung size nila, masikip sakin yung Medium, normally kasi sakto lang sakin yung Medium, Pwede kaya papalitan ng Large..

  14. hello jearnest! kakasukat ko lang ng singlet ko. just like run metropolis, pwede rin magpapalit ng size from medium to large. fit na fit ung shirt para akong suman. hehehehe… anyway, thanks for delivering the race kit last friday sa moa. :)

  18. I think the problem with the planned on-site registration at Chris Sports was more than just a memo not sent on time because of a Thanksgiving Party because it could have easily been done the next day. Anyway, I’ll just wait for your announcement of the new registration sites.

    Jearnest Sports has significantly heightened the expectations of runners for this run. I just hope you will deliver on race day. Have you organized other run events before this one? Which ones?

    I do have one concern, I know na madami talaga tatakbo dito, how about the return run coming back after the u turn, will it be crowded sa mga pasalubong na runners? sana maluwag ung icclose na part ng roxas boulevard para hindi hassle sa mga naghahabol ng pr. Thanks!

  25. ay naku!wala daw sa chris sports moa nagpunta aq kanina 4pm sayang oras ko bakit po ganon di daw related at wala silang form, nag online application nanga aq kaso dedma sakanila bakit?ask kolang is this true na not related sila sa ofw run?kindly response to my concern,thanks po.

  36. i went to cris sports isetan recto kanina lng sad to know hindi nila alam ang event na to. kala ko kasali sila sa mga registration site. :(

  37. @ Jearnest Sports Corporation basta po para sa OFW na SALBADIBA ng bayan hindi pwedeng papalampasin to… pero di ako tatakbo watch mode at picture taking lang muna baka magbukahan ang mga tahi ko.

    As early as Jan.10, we have announced that Chris Sports as Registration Site was on-hold until further notice.
    That’s why we conducted Special Delivery of Race Kits while we were on the process of speedily facilitating another reg sites.
    Then we announced last Jan.21 (complete with poster) that our NEW REGISTRATION SITES are ROYAL SPORTING HOUSE and REEBOK Outlets starting Jan.24 (Thursday)
    We apologize for the confusion.
    In ISETANN RECTO, our reg site is ROYAL SPORTING HOUSE at the 2nd Floor, and NOT Chris Sports.
    Thank very much for understanding!

  52. guys pinakita sa akin sample sizes ng medal nila malaki yung para sa 16k at 10k
    yung para naman sa 5k at 3k kasing laki ng medal ng sa milo 21k wag nating palampasin toh lahat may medal ng maganda

    yes, as our recognition for those running teams/groups who will register minimum of 25 registrants, we will provide the qualified running teams/groups with a FREE TENT during the event.
    we can monitor this because you will write at the bottom portion of the Registration Form the NAME of your Running Team/Group.
