After Tour 700, the Philippines’ biggest bike race event held at the SCTEX last May 13, 2012, 7-Eleven now celebrates the opening of its 800th store with RUN 800 on August 26, 2012 at the Aseana City in Paranaque.

Runners joining the 10k, 15k or 21k half marathon will enjoy this new closed-circuit race course set along the coastal road – CAVITEX. Those joining in the 3k and 5k categories can look forward to an organized race course along Macapagal Ave. This is made possible with 7-Eleven’s system of allowing SELF-SELECTED WAVE STARTS, enabling them to run with people with the same skill or speed (or with friends!). To make this run more exciting, the top 3 per age category will receive medals. Top 3 Filipino males and females in the 21k will be sponsored to join the Macau International Marathon on December 2012.

To complete registration, runners can pay reg fees at the 7-Eleven a nearest them. Take note of the 7-Connect number and pay at any 7-Eleven store within 24 hours. Race Kits can be claimed on the date indicated on the receipt, and from the same store where payment has been made.

  1. mejo may part kasi dun na puro basura, kaya minsan iba ang amoy ng dagat… ewan ko lang kung aabot yung ruta sa may malapit na landfill dun ng basura, dun mas mabaho ang amoy.. :/

    That’s a challenge… better takbo ng mabilis sa area na yun… yan din concern ko in this run… Hirap nyan lalo na kung pa iba iba direksyon ng hangin. Kasi even nasa loob ka ng car minsan naaamoy parin yung baho. :)

  8. kakaregister and kakabayad ko lang kahapon. nakaindicate sa receipt kung kelan makukuha ang kit. the problem is, hindi maganda ung pagkakaprint nung receipt ko. wah. haha. di ko na napansin. =( kelan kaya kuhanan?

  12. walang pong naka indicate na may medal sir jerry… sana hindi maging batayan kung may medal o wala ang pagpili mo ng race… maganda naman po ang cause ng run na to… masarap feeling pag na susurprise ka sa mga natatanggap mo after you cross the finish line without expecting anything…

  16. malinaw ang inpormasyon kaya magbasa tayo bago magtanong para hindi masayang ang thread na ito. kung wala ang sagot sa event website and/or event details yung ang itanong natin. ang sabi nga sa atin nuon elementary pa tayo “read the directions before you answer.”

    walang medal ang 7-11 run. sa iba sumali kung medal ang hanap!

  23. @rachel comment#225 – kung galing ka ng MoA, exit lang through Coral Way, turn right sa Diosdado Macapagal Blvd., sa intersection ng Bradco at Diosdado Macapagal Blvd. ay makikita mo na ang Asanea Powerstation katapat ng S&R. Ang asanea Avenue naman ay yung susunod na kanto sa may Caltex Gas Station. Hope this helps.

  26. mukang mahirap puntahan un venue? im form batangas pa. now lang ako magcomute kung sakali papunta ng venue. wat po ba sasakyan ko from magallanes? may diresto bang jeep ppunta sa venue? hirap kc ako magcomute. hehehe

  27. guys, cno gustong mag lsd sa daang hari this coming saturday (aug 4) or every saturday, sasama ako para masaya ang practice run. magsimula tayo sa molino road to seaside rd or alabang zapote road and back to molino road. tamang practice run to for those people who run on weekend or what you called the weekend warrior.

  28. @jiro_run comment 231, ang magallanes is about 3k from mall of asia ang aseana is in moa area, halos lahat ng bus from edsa dadaan malapit sa moa.

  32. @ Jiro Run – may mga bus sa magallanes na papuntang coastal, baclaran or mia, kahit anu dun pwede mo sakyan tpos sabihin mo na lng na Aseana ka ibaba, d ko lang sure kung magrereroute sila because of road closure, pero try mo muna ask kung dadaan sila sa bagong DFA, malapit na dun ung ASEANA.

    Just hoping n sana maganda panahon by that time…. lalo pa at may malaking weather system sa may pacific ocean heading to pinas… another, will this event push through even if there is say a storm.. para kc wala ako nabasa that it will be re-sked, cancelled if may ganung instances….

  36. my great concern is the finisher shirt. baka magkaubusan ng size. springboard runner experience. mas maraming malalaking size. please may 1k runners n kayo. magakaroon sana ng separate claim area and time ang ibat ibang category lugi ang 21k runners.

  37. ayus to lahat makakatanggap ng FS pero mas maganda kung lagyan ng race categoy din ang finisher shirt (3k, 5k, 10k, 16, 21k finisher) hindi lang basta “FINISHER”. :-)

    good point dude. but i guess “finisher” was posted to make the shirt cost-efficient. doing so will make it applicable to all categories. too bad as there is no distinction. :-(

    I agree with kingred @ comment 242…

    You really need to put the Category of the runner kung saan sila nag run para naman madistinguish kung ilang Kilometro yung tinakbo mo. Kasi kung pare-pareho lang di sana nag 3K na lang ako, kasi matapos ko lang may shirt na agad ako.

    I hope yung mga runners na iba dito eh makakarelate naman…

  45. oo nga guys i agree dapat may distinction ung shirt if what category coz different categories have different levels of endurance/stamina on how to finish it plus the training involve for the preparation lalo na sa 21k runners.. if same shirt design, better to join 3 km cat.. hehehehe!

  55. hi sa lahat. baguhan lang po ako sa takbuhan. mukang masaya ito kaya nag pa-register na kaagad ako kanina. nagustuhan ko na kasi tumakbo para sa aking kalusugan na payo ng doctor ay magbawas ako ng timbang. ang ikinagugulat ko na lang after ko mag bayad, saka ko lang nabasa na bawal pala ang gadgets like mp3s, etc. isa ang music sa nagbibigay sa akin ng lakas at pang tanggal boredom lalo na 10k ang tatahakin ko. since may marshalls naman, ano pa yung “for safety reasons” bakit ipinagbawal ang music. kung pwede ko lang sana ma refund ang binayad ko, why not. parang mahirap sa akin tumakbo pag walang music, kasi yun na ang kinasanayan ko.

    pero wala na ako magagawa, andyan na yan. tuloy ang laban. go hard or go home!

  61. Bakit kailagan mag fill up ng form para sa refund at kng eligible ka pa dapat bago ma refund? Di na lang dalhin yung receipt na galing sa 7-11 branch kng saan ng register, tutal nanduon naman lahat ng info na binayaran? kagaya ko 10 ang ni-register ko, kailagan ko pag mag fill up ng refund form para sa kanila,magdala ng ID nila at authorization letter galing sa kanila para makuha sa LBC branch.

  70. I hope the race organizers move it to another date which does not have any “major” races. I’m sure the event will lose a lot of participants to the Mens Health Urbanathlon,

    To the Organizers – there’s still a lot of time to make changes. As an avid supporter of races and a business minded person, I’m sure you don’t want to lose profit (even if its going to be for a good cause). If you really want this to be a successful event, both for the running community and the recipient of the event proceeds, I think I and the rest of the running community will recommend moving it to another date.

  71. baka naman po pwede agahan na lang ng konti….wag naman isabay sa Men’s Health Urbanathlon…kung mag-pursue pa rin sa October 14, many runners that have registered here might decide not to join here, sa MHU na lang..(sa bagay, nakapagbayad naman na ang mga nagregister dito, kaso, magiging pangit na ang maging perception ng tao sa 711 pati na sa mga events nila) please consider this request. thank you.

Sana talaga mag bago pa isip ng 7-Eleven run 800 Organizers hear us, pwede naman venue sa Quirino Grand Stand or sa SM MOA September 9 Sunday walang gaanong running event huwag na i sabay sa MHU if that happen madami talaga mag rerefund kasama na din ako. Pangit talaga feedback nito pag di inaayos ng organizer ang Sched habang madami pa di nagre refund.

  91. @Jiro_run: Tama ang sabi mo gusto naming sumali dito, in fact, maaga kaming nagregister and supposedly ang claiming ng racekits namin ay sa Aug13 na.

    @linsanity: wag ka ng mag-HB, we requested a refund today. We’re hoping to receive from 7-Eleven our confirmations soon.

  94. patience is a virtue. use the two month waiting period as an extended training period. time used wisely is not time lost but if you cannot wait then refund. at the end of the day it is your choice.

  97. Dapat within 24 hours din ang bayad pag nag request ka na refund. Hanggang ngayon wala pang confirmation either thru email or txt yong request namin.

  98. Really would have loved to join this but it just so happens na kasabay ng other event. Sorry but I have to get the refund.

    Anyway mukhang marami namang makakasali din na bago due to the movement.
