[Annoucement – Sept 19, 2011]

Your RunRio Trilogy Leg 2 Run United 2 21km Finisher Shirts are now ready for claiming at RUNNR BHS. Please do not forget to bring your PINK Bib and a Valid ID in case you are required to present it while claiming. Claiming schedule will be from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm daily.
Meanwhile, for those who have not claimed their 21km Finisher Medal yet, claiming is still on-going also at RUNNR BHS. Same policy applies for claiming both the Medal and Shirt.

  5. 21k alone has 3300 runners, pero iilan lang ang portalets. nag start na ang race, nakapila pa rin sa portalet. another thing , is yung mga paramedics, thousands ang runners pero ang dala nilang Omega ay ultra small, hayz

  7. @Airsea C Go… maraming portalets in every sides hindi mo lang nakita…. sana next time paper cups nalang ang gamitin nila para bio degradable at half lang yung water para hindi sayang….. anyway.. it’s a good birthday run for me!!!! congrats runrio!!!

  13. I ran back-to-back 10Ks in a span of 10 hours, from Camp Run to RunUnited2. Protein Whey helps a lot in the recovery of muscle that’s why I only felt a bit of pain in my hamstrings. This morning’s run was quite humid, better still than got soak in the rain. See u in RU3, the next level. hehehe

  26. kainis naman bakit yung live results na pinost nila sa fb wall ko di namn match dun sa category ko? sa 10k ako nakareg pero yung result na pinost nila nag fall sa 3k category… ano ba naman yan? excited pa naman akong malaman yung personal record ko… hay im very disappointed sa BAZU sports… sana naman magawan agad nila ng solusyon yung problem. but overall naman masaya yung run. nice talaga ang unilab.. and thank you na rin sa Kaspersky for the free t-shirt and sunvisor.

  30. my first 21k run! astig kaya ko pala.. :)kaso hnde ko na naabutan ung bananas, sayang nmn.. hehe.. may ibang water stations din na naubusan n ng supply. tska ung photobooth hnde mxdong mgnda pati mga staff hnde accomodating, pinagmamadali n mga tao..

  39. my first 21km run was successful, even though nasa bottom half ako, ok lang kailan ko lang maiset ang record ko para ma beat ang next 21km run ko on RU3..

Results are still confusing, hopefully they can double check and correct them. specially the 21k results, im sure a lot of runners would agree that the time of the several frontrunners are not accurate, they are faster than the times posted by Kenyans in past runs. they can also check the faces of the runners with the videos and ask fellow runners if they were really able to complete the entire race route. thanks

  53. My 4th time to do a unilab run. As always good hydration, always on time, good freebies, this run naging ok na ang claiming ng singlet, etc. And I guess itong 4th ang pinakamaraming runners, as in! And with that medyo hindi ata na-foresee na dapat mas madaming runners mas matino ang setup ng baggage area which is nakaka-disappoint lang kanina. 30 mins akong nasa harap ng mga staff para magpahanap ng bag ko at hindi nila naiintindi at inuuna ang mga taong madaling mahanap ang bag!…why?? kasi hindi maayos ang setup ng baggage…patong patong lang…sa sobrang daming tumakbo..malamang magkakaloko loko nga…and to my frustration, umalis muna ko dahil uminit ang ulo ko at exactly what i thought na pagbalik ko lilitaw ang bag ko kasi wala na masyadong bags…hmmm…suggestion lang po na sana next time mas matinong baggage area setup mobile baggage cab maybe??? Mahal ba yon???…I’m sure hindi masasayang ang investment doon because every month padami ng padami ang runners…and sooobrang kapaki-pakinabang yon. Another thing to improve po…yung way going to baggage ok lang kung before start but after walang madaanan…lahat me harang…how can we cross there kung me mga runners pa going to finish line?…YUN LANG PO…but still nice run pa rin! :)

  58. I would like to apologize to all the people I accidentally bumped along the way. I really tried my best to get a clear route but somehow I ended up shrugging somebody or bumping on another persons arms. The run was really crowded and sorry if I did not even bother to look back to apologize during the run that’s why I am doing it here.

    I hope everybody had a wonderful fanfare throughout the race.

  59. my time is missing…. i thought that the new runrio square timing chip will be applicable for all runs after the rexona run. But it seems that only the first time new timing chip have their official time. Runrio staff at registration site in TAF had advised me to use only the timing chip and not the D-tag. wag na lang kayang gamitin ang timing chip sa susunod na run ng runrio?

  60. Bat walang time at bib no yung sakin (at mga kasama ko) tumakbo sa 10k. Nung tinignan ko sa site nakalagay ‘missing data’?

  62. how come wala sa results ng 21km ung name namin ng wife ko. bib no 16 and 17. last athena run din wala ung name ng wife ko sa bazusports. nd na namin tuloy nakikita ung official time namin. sana maayos na to

Muntik na ako ma-late sa gunstart pero nakaabot pa din ako yun nga lng nsa dulo ako,nagover the bakod nlng ako, dami pla tlga runners ng 10k plng,buti may nagtext skin na mag sstart na,nkapila kc ako sa nun para magCR adik din yung nkakwentuhan ko kala ko 10k sya 5k pala kaya alam ko di pa naguumpisa haha takbo ako nun, then after 500m..naiihi ako kaya nagCr muna ako natatawa ako sa mga nangyari khapon haha..kaya daming nasayang na oras skin.. pero ano pa man ay success nmn yung 10k Run ko!!

  66. @ night strider – pink bibs and binigay sa mga nagpareg sa binuksan na 500 21k slots..they didnt get any medal sa finish line pero pick-up points will be announced soon ..

  67. Guys, got a question. would the baller be send to our home address again or should it be together with the finisher’s kit? i don’t have it in my kit though. Thanks.

    pink colored bibs are late registrants for 21K category.. they were not supposed to have on-site medal on the said event… to follow na lang ang medals nila… post-event nal ang.

  69. No PR for me but still maintained my PR 2:02 from Milo half marathon. It was fun kaso dami talaga runners lalo na yung 2kms kung saan naging bottle neck talaga ang way to the finish line. Oh well, maski walang PR at least Drew Arellano ate my dust for breakfast yesterday hehehe… (Sorry bro). RU1-10K then RU2-21K and next leg RU3-32K naman para complete ko na ang TRILOGY collection ko!!!

    @night strider – Pink bibs are additional 500 21K slots. They were not entitled to have their 21k medal and shirt during race day. To follow na lang ika nga but I was surprised yesterday when I saw a pink bib holder with a finisher shirt. Eh yung medal kaya?

  71. aww… still waiting for my result. Make sure you stepped on the covered wire sensors connected to a laptop in the course on the midpoint and the end. Was fun to see so many people participate and thank you organizers for not making us run through the advanced uphill route that goes to the military base haha. Dami talaga freebies ang United sulit ang 600. Pakwento naman kung tungkol saan yung ibang booths. Meron pa kasi akong nakitang mga booth sa right side ng finish line.

  72. a new pr for me sa 21k pero nakakaasar, wala yung name at resulta ko sa bazu sports! my race bib was no. 1115. sana maayos yung mga resulta ng ibang runners!!!

  73. bakit po wala ung result ng bib 111 pero nung tiningnan ko ung name ko sa results ang naka assign na bib sakin ay 1100. di ko po suot ung timing chip from runrio pero diba makukuha nmn ung race stats ko kasi may chip parin na naka embed sa bib ko. more power and another great run from runrio :D

  74. naitulak na ako dati sa first milo run ko last year. nakaka badtrip pag natutulak. alam ko ang pakiramdam, kaya ako kahit braso lang kapwa ko mananakbo ang nasasagi ko, i always look back and say sorry..

  78. Holler for RUNRIO – Congrats! From my perspective, better organization / management of event kahapon. From security guards on duty sa parking, race marshalls / bouncers, after race kiosks, pa-kwela effect, pati hair-do mo, runningbro, am two thumbs up sa inyo. That is why, RUNRIO is the premier organizer for race events. There, I said it… Am sure, 80% ng sumuporta sa inyo kahapon, agree sa sinabi ko. Congrats again to RUNIRIO, KAPERSKY, UNILAB.

    Next step, suggest na humanap na tayo ng mas malaking venue. Maliit na ang BGC sa atin. From the start until finish, masikip ang daan sa dami ng tumatakbo. Agree? :)

  79. It’s awesome ! That was my first 21k run at sa Runrio Unilab2 pa. Masaya & super duper dami ng runners. I even achieved my set of time of at least below 2 hours (1:59:++)since its my 1st time. Likewise, I thought Unilab3 was scheduled next year. But as I heard in the announcement made after the awarding, it was about to set by November this year. Sayang… I really loved to join in Unilab3, kaya lang I have to go back to my workplace abroad sometime in September.

    Anyway, my sincere CONGRATULATIONS to the organizer of this successful event, its staffs & sponsors and to all my fellow runners as well.

    Remember that we are all winners in our own personal aims & achievements in life.

  80. great run.. pero NO RESULTS FOUND lumalabas pag enter ng bib no. ko..KAINIS… hindi ko lam kung sino may mali yung organizer ba o yung attendants nung ngparegister ako.. kinuha lang kasinila no. nung timing card sila na raw bahala pero mukhang hindi ata napasok sa system nila.

  89. Sobrang daming sumali… I saw several cheaters in the 10k and 21k category, bigla biglang nag u uturn hehehe.. I noticed that the 5km lead runners were already running at the side of the paved road ( due to the massive influx of runners in the area where the 5, 10, and 21k converge and formed a near chaotic bottleneck …) Muntik pa madulas ang isang kenyan..

    Swervers beware.. Kunting ingat naman sa biglang paglusot at overtake.. A runner bumped me yesterday and i instinctively bumped back due to my basketball reflex (box out) my huge arms almost cost him to fall on the ground… Konting ingat swervers..

  96. Relak lang.. It’ll be updated in a couple of days.. However, maybe bacause of the multitude of runners… Bazu can no longer manage their system.. Medyo inacurate na… I was ranked 12th in the rexona run.. Eh ang bagal ko..hehehe..uuu

  97. thanx Runrio it was a great run…thanx also sa Globe Tattoo for a nice singlet, racebelt and sunvisor thats was given away at their booth after the run haba lang pila..Question lang updated na ba result kasi Im wearing BIB 171 but found out that it was under another name and mine was under BIB 172 but has no details same scenario with others only the chip number was asked by the staff and told us sila na reg for us baka nagkapalit lang. BAZU and Runrio paki ayos nalang baka hindi mapadalhan baller he he he needed pa yan for the limited shirt..God Bless and more power..

    2. BAGGAGE AREA:
    Di maayos ang pagkakasetup at ang personel nyo walang galang.

    3. SECURITY PERSONEL:
    Mga security personel nyo mga manyakis at nananantsing
    (Sasapakin ko sana, ayaw ko lang nang gulo).

    4. PORTALET
    Mga portalet kaunti at ang pagkakaarage yung unit nyo sa isang location (maganda sa panlabas kaso sa loob ang baho at mapanghi)then yung ibang unit sa ibang location nakahalo ang mga bago at luma na d pa nalinis at daming alikabok.(Pag gamit ng GF ko sa isang unit ng portalet,nangitim yung puting short nya.at d nyo ba napapansin bakit maraming gumagamit sa isang location ng isang portalet dahil doon lang ang malinis. (TINIPID TALAGA)

    5. FREEBIES:
    Kaunti at mukhang talagang tinipid daming sponsor nga tinipid naman.

    6. MGA PHOTOBOOTH AT IBANG BOOTH:
    Kaunti at talagang tinipid (Runrio alam ko alam nyo kung ilang tao talaga dadalo sa fun run event nyo dapat nyo pag handaan para d magkagulo lahat ng tao at d mahaba ang pila.
