  1. one of the most organized runs I joined last year :D

will definitely join here again, last year I ran 3k and now I’ll be running 16k!

  2. I remember last year event, I hope this time meron ng portalets talagang ang haba ng pila sa sujiivana salon to use their toilet kaya na late ako sa startingline. but that doesnt mean i will not join the run,

  3. wala bang magrereply sa mga inquiries na to..??? what’s the singlet design..??? the racebib..?? any giveaways after the race..?? is there a certificate of participation..????

  4. run 4 life 2010 is one of the best running event i’ve attended last year. This year, i’m sure this event will more exciting. i will be running 10 mile category.

  5. Saw their beneficiaries on their websites… it’s a worth it cause!

I was there last year the route is amazing! Great mix of uphill, downhill and straight roads plus a bonus of scenic route and fresh air. Hopefully there’s more people to join them this time.

  6. Was there last year for the run. They have the best race routes in the south – shady, right amount of uphill/downhill challenge, and no route loops! Definitely going to be there this year :)

  7. Had fun last year.. points to improve:
    • Kulang portalets. Kawawa ang girls, sobrang haba ng pila. Oks lang kahit pano sa boys, madaming talahib along the route. :)
    • Medyo malaki ang kulang sa distance ng 10k. 8.8k via footpod, 9.1 via GPS.
    • Singlet–matigas. Sana wala na lang at binigay na lang yung singlet budget sa lifeline cause.
Hopefully, the orgranizer this year will address these issues. Go Lifeline!

  8. Hi rechel palces,

I’ve seen one on TV (ABS CBN) and local newspaper (Daily Star) here in Bacolod. There’s a run dubbed “Run for Life” also but might be different organizers since this one is for Bantay Bata. It’s on May 7th at the New Government Center.

  9. Though the envelop did not include the route and there were no freebies too. Hopefully they will also have freebies on the run site. LOL

  10. @Dan, this is what their website say…
Finishers get a loot bag from our sponsors and a certificate for joining the race and the opportunity to contribute to Lifeline Foundation’s initiatives.

    Sooo excited for this! :)

  11. @c21, you are welcome! I am joining run4life because of the cause they are supporting, hope more people join and run purposely.

  12. @c21

way 2 go! kwentuhan mo kami what will happen to this run huh?

talaga? u dont take energy drinks? good 4 u. mas preferred ko rin water but at times for me, the EDs does help boost stamina at least on that particular run moment.

  13. @Ms_Mars: yup! let’s share the happenings sa mga event na sinasalihan natin…it depends naman yun sa bawat isa, laki kasi akong probinsya kaya ‘di sanay sa mga ED’s. haha!

  14. One of the best and most organized run last year! andun din c phil younghusband. mabilis tumakbo parang azong kalye (AzKal).

  15. Ganda ng route nila! Sasali kami lahat d2 sa office. Daming freebies last time. Sumali si si Phil Younghusband nung dati.

  16. This event is great for the whole family. Last year the program was really nice too, and they gave away free Blackberries at the raffle. More pa daw this year!

  17. I checked the other runs on May 15, this is the best one! Ganda ng singlet at hindi boring yung route. Yung Filinvest area maraming puno and may uphill parts. May timing chip pa sila, hi-tech! Nakatulong ka pa sa causes ng foundation nila.

  18. This run is so worth it. Friends told me they love the singlet; what Lifeline is doing is noble and awesome. :)

  19. @c21 You can, ride a Jeepney at Pasay Rotanda going to Alabang or a Bus at Ayala yung Expressway. Then when you get to Alabang, ride a Jeepney going Zapote get off at Home Depot, the event is just behind Home Depot.

  20. hello! Pede po pa register ang father ko? he’s 64yrs old..kasama naman nya ang brother ko..thanks!! God Bless!!

  23. registered just this morning on-site sa 16km, was off to my usual Sunday morning jog pro naisip ko mag join na lang para masaya yung takbo at makatulong na din sa cause ng lifeline foundation, training na din to prepare for next weeks half marathon. medyo nag tampo lang si misis since di sya nakasama, we always join events together with our 10 yr old son.

the event was fun parang nung last year which i ran 10km for the first time then.
enjoy running alongside trees and parts na medyo fresh air which is bihira na sa mga runs in metro manila at ang dami pang pocari. next year hopefully meron ng half marathon.

kudos to lifeline foundation, see you again next year.

    live free…run happy

  24. had fun joining the run4life, kudos to the organizer…definitely will join again next year… ;-) sana dagdagan yung rafle na blackberry hehehehe

  25. Wow! nice feeling ang 16K ko, got my new PR, hope to break it again for another 16K, thanks to Lifeline Foundation, kudos to Doc Erlyn Chua, our Medical Director…God Bless…

  26. congrats lifeline foundation for the successful event! nagenjoy kame ng bonggang bongga! sarap tumakbo sa kagubatan hehe. umaapaw sa pocari sweat at mga freebies! lufet! thank you to those marshals who keep on cheering the runners, it made me run so fast. And of course, we are so happy that we are able to help those who in needs.ask ko lang po baket hindi nagbuhos ng tubig yung mga truck ng tubig na nakita namen dun sa race?akala ko may instant ligo hehe. sna next year meron na nun para marefresh yung mga runners. I ran 10k and my time is 1hr and 6mins. keri na noh? hehe. i will run again here next year.taga nio yan sa bato hehe. clap clap!
