  1. Quite interested in this.

Mr. Joseph, just a few clarifications for us runners to prepare:

    1. How is the hydration station spaced?
    2. Is it a combination of electrolyte + water or just water? Just asking this question so we know whether we bring our own hydration or purchase from a convenient store along the way.
    3. Are there medics along the way with 1st aid kits or temp but immediate pain medication like liniment sprays or the likes? Para kami narin magdala ng spray namin.
    4. Are there nutrition stations along the way? If so, at what kms do we expect to have them?
    5. By the way it looks, it seems that we go back to Km. 0 on our own. No shuttle to bring us back from Tagaytay to Luneta, right? So meaning we take a public transport from tagaytay to luneta.
    6. Will there be a mobile baggage van to bring our (baggage checked-in) dry clothes from Luneta to Tagaytay so we can at least change immediately right after the race with our wet clothes & cold weather at the finish line? At least we go back to Manila dry & comfy.

Sorry for being nosy. Just need to know. Im sure others who are also willing to join this event would definitely want to hear the answers to some of my questions.

    Thanks.

    • Hi, Maam Elsa.

I am in no way connected to Prince MultiSports but I will answer your questions based on my observations on last year’s edition.

1-2. As mentioned by Prince during the race kit claiming at the Miles Cafe, the water stations should be located every 5kms. However, during the event, the water stations are 7-8kms apart with only water offered, no electrolytes or energy drinks. However, there are generous volunteers from various running groups that offered food and electrolytes along the way.
Don’t worry there are convenience stores along the route(except for the Silang area, there are few sari-sari stores that sells bottled water but there are a lot of buko vendors instead).
      3. I’ve only seen 1 aid station at KM30 that applied liniment to some runners. But I think there is a roving ambulance along the route.
      4. There are food(boiled eggs and bananas) offered at KM30 and KM55(the last aid station). And from those generous volunteers from various running groups.
      5. Yes. There are no shuttle provided by the organizers going back to Manila. You have to commute from Palace in the Sky going to Olivares.
      6. Yes. There is a van that will transport the checked in baggage from Luneta to Tagaytay.

Additional suggestions/recommendations if this is your first ultra and on self support, I would recommend that you will bring a hydration backpack and an extra water bottle. And, make sure to refill both your hydration bladder and water bottle at the last water station. The distance from the last water station going to the finish line is more than 5kms and the most challenging it is an uphell.*spoiler alter*

I hope it helps, see you on the road.
