ASICS is bringing the newest evolution of one of its most popular daily trainers to the Philippines as the NOVABLAST™ 6 officially launches nationwide on July 10, 2026. Known for its energetic ride, lightweight feel, and responsive cushioning, the NOVABLAST series continues to be a favorite among runners looking for a shoe that can handle everyday training while still keeping the run fun.
For its sixth version, ASICS updates the NOVABLAST with new cushioning technology designed to deliver more bounce, comfort, and efficiency with every stride. The biggest update is the introduction of FF TURBO™ SQUARED foam in the forefoot trampoline pod, a technology previously seen in the MEGABLAST™ and SONICBLAST™ series.
This marks the first time FF TURBO™ SQUARED foam appears in the NOVABLAST line, giving the shoe a more responsive and spring-like feel. It works together with FF BLAST™ MAX cushioning, which adds softness and comfort underfoot, creating a more balanced ride for daily runs, tempo efforts, and long steady mileage.
The NOVABLAST 6 also gets updates in the upper and outsole. The refined engineered mesh upper is designed to improve breathability while giving runners a more adaptive and comfortable fit. Meanwhile, ASICSGRIP™ rubber in the forefoot helps provide better traction and a smoother toe-off, complementing the shoe’s trampoline-inspired ride.
Ahead of the official release, several shoe trial sessions were held across Metro Manila, giving local runners an early chance to experience the NOVABLAST 6. These activations were held in partnership with running communities and events, including the Galaxy Manila Marathon 2026, ASICS Running Club sessions, Bungalow Café, COROS, WeKenRun, and St. Luke’s.
Celebrities and key opinion leaders including Kaori Oinuma, Gab Lagman, and Gazini Ganados also tested the shoe ahead of launch, highlighting it as a major upgrade to one of ASICS’ best daily trainers.
The ASICS NOVABLAST™ 6 will be available in-store and online starting July 10, 2026, with a retail price of ₱9,490.
