D’ Green Hope Run 2014 is a “Run-for-a-Cause” organized by Aqueous Events in partnership with ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation: Bantay Kalikasan. Significant portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Foundation in promoting Eco-tourism projects through their Green Initiatives.

The Partnership started on October 2014, when Aqueous Events became a major sponsor of LINGKOD: An Art Exhibit, in celebration of the 25th Founding Anniversary of ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation together with Ayala Group held in Greenbelt 2.

The target participants are from different groups like private sectors, running enthusiasts, schools and universities, home owners associations, health organizations, and representatives from different industries like Food & Beverages, Manufacturing, Entertainment etc.

D’ Green Hope Run is initiated to promote good health by keeping our body fit in general purpose. Aside from running with family and friends during this event, it will become more meaningful because you will also contribute with the main objective of the run, and that is to promote Eco-tourism projects in the entire country.

      • Hi, this activity was among the most disorganised and I’ll-prepared running event of the year. For all those who participated, I guess many will agree. The event started miserably late, they actually started setting up when a number of runners were already there, limited water stations, no portalets, “loot bag” when there were no bags to give away just a few pieces of Fern C, plastic medals, compromised safety, limited marshals, should I continue? Nope, just steer clear away from this event if ever they can “organise” one again.

  1. It means po ba sa day ng event ang distribution ng singlet at bib..pati ung sa online reg sa day din ng event..please advice us about this matter..kasi online kami ng brother in law ko nag register..

  2. Sir, kelan po makukuha ang race kit like the singlet, loot bags, bib#? upon registration po b ibibigay n ang race kit or s araw mismo ng race? Thanks

  3. i’ve checked toby’s glorietta this day at 7pm to register sna pero the guard told me na umuwi na ung tao. db sv sa advertisement eh till 8pm?????? panu nman pang makakapagregister ung mga busy sa work sa makti kung napaka aga umuwi ng tao nyo???

  4. One more thing, they instructed finishers to line up for the loot bag, where there were no bags to give away, and asked to them to like the event on FB, pathetic. For the organisers, Please try to observe other running events like RunRio, PF events, etc, and learn a thing or two on how to organise one. Further, keep the safety of runners in mind, a taxi wandered on a narrow race route (near the Arena) in full view of the marshals and no one knew what to do, a runner was almost hit by a taxi cab in an intersection, dehydration: 2-3 water stations? You got to be kidding. Be punctual next time, gun start for the 10 k is at 4am and they were setting the clock and place at what time? 4am? Geez…

    • I agree with you, Dr. Glenn. Your sentiments are the same as my sentiments. Moreover, there were no controls and guide as to the route, considering that the fees we paid were too high. The organizers should have, at the very least, bought laces to determine who has completed the route. The absence of control and guide has caused confusion on the part of the runners and has likewise caused commotion between the runners and the organizers. There was also confusion as to who will be given recognition/prizes. Before the gunstart, it was announced that the top 20 finishers per category will receive prizes. They later awarded only the top 3 male and female winners per category. With respect to the lack of portalet, one of the organizers informed us that SM allowed only the use of toilet at One Ecom. However, we were denied use of the building’s CR. The organizers should learn from seasoned organizers, like Runrio.

      • Atty.Car they even had the balls to say that the postponement was apparently due to insistent public demand, plain and clear as day BS. Well lesson learned, scrap events organized by this group from hereon.

  6. Ang dame magagandang printed na sponsor sa singlet pero wala nman fernc lang ng tyaga. Ang mahal mahal ng registration fee walang ka effort effort ang organizer nito…mapa medal o singlet wala manlang written na ilang miles ang takbo. Water hydration? Isa lang…May runner kit stub pa, wala nman pala…syang yung pag habol nman sa registration di manlang nag enjoy.

  7. I also want to add up, im one of the runner for 10k who got dizzy not twice but triple round circle at the last u-turn. I got left behind. B’coz of miss information of two staff. Imagine all of runers behind me already gone and finish. But im still running. Becoz of dis organized event and staff. Its fun to run but be responsible. No loot bag, no portalet, less water, staff etc.
