  1. I had a great 5k run!

  2. My first rainy 21K run. It’s great cool weather but wet shoes was not so good to the toes :-)

Good time still though at 2:10 (finish arc timer) but bazu sports says 2:17. It’s still okay.

Nice to meet new peeps also. Thanks and Congrats to everyone!

  3. astig… first time 21km… tapos lakas ng ulan… lumusong sa mabaha na areas… umabot sa cut off… got medal..lootbags… certificate… congrats runners… inum lang biogesic…

  4. hindi ako naka PR…. Failed… finish my second Marathon in 4 hours 21 minutes.

But it was a pretty challenging route. Manila-Pasay-Makati-Taguig…. Intercity marathon.

    Ang galing mo Coach Rio!

  5. a most satisfying run! despite a pulled calf muscle at km.9, the rain, strong gusts of wind and floods, managed to finish strong and still qualify.

  6. at the risk of sounding redundant, again many thanks to the PF Forum, the posts, tips, counselling, messages… all the helpful data (diet, training, etc) which enabled me to make it sa 21K cut off time…

    see you all at Unilab….

  7. Grabe, may namakyaw ata ng mga saging! Naubos agad yung laman ng jeep eh! O baka naman tinago para ibenta.. he he joke. But it was a great and successful Milo marathon! Thank you Milo and Run Rio!

  8. di ko na beat pr record ko. pero ok na rin natapos ko 42k 3:58hrs. Injury kc left knee, nakuha sa tyaga. Thank;s God

  9. no results din ako. for the 3rd time sa 3 beses ako sumali sa runrio event ganito lagi results ko. pero ok lang… later na uupload naman. pasensya lang tlaga.

masarap at masaya pala tumakbo sa ulan. d ko inaasahan ganun pala sa 5k. kaya sana next year nakapag level up na ako sa 10 or 21.

  10. i agree na mejo confusing yung road marker. ilang beses ko nakita yung 18K marker :S but overall, it’s one satisfying run. i was not expecting a PR dahil sa panahon, fever at wala masyado praktis, but i was able to beat my PR by 2-3 mins.

  12. First time to join Milo 5K fun run.

  14. xtraordinary experience for xtraordinary runners. C0ngrats to all finisher esp to 21k and 42k. Nice route, d best hydrati0n, at may pain reliver stati0ns dn. Panalo, pero im xpecting n magbgay sila energy gel c0mpard to last year.

  15. had my 1st 21k as well. very confusing nga ung road markers. kaso parang di accurate ung timing nila nu? sa watch q 1:27 sa result 1:29. but still big thanks sa lahat ng organizers. first time q din pla makita si coach rio knna in person hehehe…^^, kita kits sa finals.

  16. i suspect that they had to abandon the proper placement of km markers to prioritize critical tasks that are required by the runners. we’ve witness 1st hand that this didn’t happen last week (rexona run)

and a friendly reminder to fellow runners. huwag naman po tayo mag-hoard ng banana at kumuha ng 1 bote ng sports drink. marami pang runners sa likuran nyo. please be sensitive enough to the needs of others

buti na lang it was raining else it would’ve made it more difficult to sustain a desired pace all throughout the distance. at kung itapon na lang ung balat ng saging eh sa gitna na lang ng daan. paano na kung me madulas?

  17. One friendly reminder to runners:

Sana lang next time paghadaan talaga… Lalo na’t alam naman kung ano kondisyon ng panahon days before the event.

  19. @bayrunner
great to see you again po after the run! isa kaung mamaw ng 21K distance! hehe!
you’re very welcome, and see you also sa Forums. thanks for visiting that section.

    @elvin
nice meeting you for the first time! thanks for spotting me rightaway amidst the crowd, hehe. see you again next race!

  20. was trying to beat my Rexona PR for a new one here at MILO and as i was approaching the finish line i know its a min lower PR but before doing my FL pose and stepping on the timing mat, ayyyy nag brownout! that was for some few mins. thats why when i checked my results yday, NO DATA FOUND. hu hu hu! first time it happend to me in all my races.
may effect kaya yung brownout at Finish Line mark?
acdg to a runner friend, unofficial pa naman the Banzu time and he tried to assure its going to updated. haaayy wish wish!

  21. CONGRATS to ALL Pinoyfitness Finishers it was great meeting first time members and always a thrill seeing our current members all in one historic run event like MILO. we got rained on from start to finish but it was still fun rain run! Kudos most esp to our 42K official Marathoners now despite some physical challenges they had to endure along the way all in the spirit of experiencing their debut full mary, wohooo! great and job well done: @jonah @jose @sario @suplado_aKo and @greeneyesvalcaro whom we waited until the very end even if it took more than the cut off, still Kuya VaL whats important, you had the might to start the race and strength with courage to cross the finish line. and our group did manage to literally accompany you in crossing the mark! it was fun, dramatic and nostalgic! so thats the MILO Spirit! and to Coach Rio, thank you so much for always being so accommodating with our photo ops demands, hehe! see you in the next events!

  24. Didn’t make it sub 2 for my 2nd 21K run. Not sure kung dahil ba 1st time tumakbo sa ulan, pag iwas sa lubak lubak at bahang kalsada but still new PR for me. From my 1st Mizuno 21K official time 2:29 to Milo 21K official time 2:02. CONGRATS sa lahat!!!

HAHAHA

  26. pano yun are we able to see our record time? nakalagay kasi sa bazu na 3k.. well accidentally 3k yung nairegister namin pro tumakbo kami sa 5k at yung kit namin ay 5k naman..

  27. @chrome iba nga ung time ko sa bazu at dun sa finish line time.

  30. Super ganda ng medal… the best medal I had in my collection so far… sana ganito lagi ang quality ng medal ng lahat ng runrio race event. Ang sablay lang ay yung confusing km marker redundant walang label kung para sa 10k, 21k or sa 42k yung marker … but overall its a satisfying race.

  31. missing data still for my daughter with bib no. 34565. I hope lumabas ang result nya since this is her first 3k run.
The event was fun. The rain made it more exciting lalo na sa anak ko. she really enjoyed the rain.
Ms Mars, thanks for your reply. I needed to confirm kung tuloy ang milo. Ang lakas kasi ng ulan. Thanks and more power.

  32. hopefully next year magkaroon ng improvement sa 5K category participants, below are some that I observed:

    1. Hindi masama ang maglakad along the race route kaya lang sana next time “huwag nating sakupin ang buong width ng road” at least the left portion must be open to runners.

    2. About the cups, nakakalat kung saan-saan.

    3. Before tayo lumipat ng lane or direction make sure na tignan muna ang nasa likod/harap (left and right)natin, katulad rin ‘yan kapag tumatawid tayo sa road. (muntik na akong masubsob ng may biglang tumalon na student from sidewalk sa harapan ko to meet her friends, buti na lang medyo mabagal ang pace ko that time.)

    4. Mas ok gamitin ang rain coat compare sa umbrella para hindi mahirap ilagan… just like coach Rio.. =) kung ayaw nating mabasa ng ulan.

  33. congrats to rio dela cruz..job well done…nice run kahit maulan..its my first 21k run….5 months palang ako tumatakbo im 47yrs old na hahahhaha i got 2:34mins…i beat 500+runners..napakahirap but im proud..thanks Milo and Rio. more power…

  37. It’s good to have my 1st 42k run here in MILO and get that medal and finisher’s shirt…very successful kahit n nga naulan…More power..I’ll definitely join MILO’s next event..c”,

  38. It’s good to have my 1st 42k run here in MILO and get that medal and finisher’s shirt…very successful kahit n nga naulan…More power..I’ll definitely join MILO’s next event..c”,

  41. i run in the 5k category…..
i didn’t reach my goal to be in the top 100!
i’m only top151 out of 2,951 runners in the 5k category… so sad.,., wave 4 na kc ako nag start, daming mga naglalakad na nakaharang.,., 26:16 tuloi time ko, it could have been 1-2 minutes earlier kung wala maxadong nakaharang.. but over all it was good! i won another milo singlet sa basketball shootout! so 2 singlets for the price of 100pesos no one can beat that! ^_^ good job to milo!

i’ll run 21k next year para walang naglalakad! hehe ^_^ and with medal pa!

But overall, it was a nice experience running 5k with my eldest son,Marx…

Great run though..first time ko to run 10K all the way na walang lakad, thanks to the rain that kept me cooled..Way to go Milo..

  44. @mb_soul
we missed seeing and being with you
@MILO. but glad to hear from you here.
    enjoyed your MILO run? congrats!

hope to see you next during RU2 leg and
pls try to linger after the event so
we can meet and chika mode with you?
    hehe. ;)

    cheers fellow MILO Runner!

  45. had a good 21K run, I know I beat my best time of 2:10 but wala sa bazusports yung race result ko. bib# 21475.verify pls…

  46. Despite lack of sleep, 7 minutes late, heavy rainfall and strong gust of wind, not to mention the smelly odor in some part of Roxas Boulevard still, natapos din. nakatulong kay Obet kahit papaano. Hindi tayo nagpaapekto kay Kabayan. Congrats to all!

  47. @andy – late din ako. tried to make it to the cutoff kaya hayun got a new PR.

@adbernardo – congrats! not bad for a 21k first timer. good luck on your next runs.

  48. i cant find my name in the results and i already tried to contact runrio about it. is there anyone else i can talk to?

  49. @ Yingski, such a remarkable improvement of your PR. most runners have slower pacing due to the weather condition but not in your case. congratulations!!

  50. what a run! maganda tlaga pag big event kasi rain or shine tuloy! at least naka abot ako sa time limit, congrats sa mga organizers lalo na sa mga runners!
