  1. @JOBZ:we’re considering it, kasi nag-enjoy kami sa baguio 21k. I checked vigan plaxa hotel, medyo expensive, i’m checking aniceto mansion right now. Did you join bauio 21k?

  2. @cecille i was in bataan run for light last sunday, no one here in the office wants to come with me, but if ur planning to go there i’ll probably think about it, let me know, hows ur baguio exp?

  3. @jobz: the run was really difficult and challenging but all worth it. Grabe hill running was no joke. Feeling ko, chicken na ang run in manila ha ha ha! i was joking with another runner from manila, sabi namin walang sinabi mga taga-manila sa takbo sa baguio. You all the runners were very supportive and friendly to others coz those who finished early acted as marshalls and cheered for the other runners. Kasama na yung traffic risks, sa mga steeped roads. Bago kami tumakbo paikot sa curves, silip muna if there are on-coming vehicles then pag wala, takbo ng mabilis!

Then we learned from the organizers when we gave them our feedback, sa highway pala, the technic is to run in the middle of the road, that’s how the locals do it. Coz running is a normal site in baguio and travelling vehicles don’t run on them as a common courtesy. Kaya nga sabi namin at least, we have an idea how to do it next year.

  4. @cecille i’m going to ask my mom if she knows someone who has a cheap place to stay there in vigan, how many of u will probably join?

  5. @jobz: amybe 3 pax. I sent an email na to aniceto mansion, diko palang na-basa reply nila. Sige tnx for the help. Nice a to have you as new acquaintance. Takbo ka ng run for integrity, i’m campaigning & inviting my workm8s to register for that event.

  12. It was a great event, my wife and son enjoyed running in Vigan which was our first run outside Metro Manila.

The 21Km route is challenging especially the uphill inside Baluarte kaya medyo pag hahandaan ko to next year. Ang ganda ng route since magkahalong modern city, historic sites and nature especially ung part na sa left and right mo parang rice field ang makikita mo, the residents along the way are very supportive din dahil sila ang nag serve sa mag hydration stations. parang bawat block kada barangay na madadaanan may mag bibigay sayo ng tubig.

Kudos to the organizers! My family will definitely be back next year.

    live free…run happy

  13. i agree, challenging yung sa baluarte uphill…pero it was fun kasi parang tour na rin while running…may i suggest for next year kung pwede maglagay ng KM MARK kahit sa 10k , 15k ,so we would know kung malapit na ..thank you and more power!!!

  14. @happy runner, we’ve talk after the race remember i’m the one with the kid un nkatabi nyo po, next year kitakits ulit dun, ano na balita sa race results…

  15. enjoyed our Vigan mini vacation, met new people who also shared our love for running…the two bankers (the one from ING Makati and the branch head of Allied in Vigan)..the mommy who placed 4th in the 21km (wow!!!) she was also with her family :D
