On April 29-30, 2023, the Philippine Skyrunning Championships organized by the Philippine Skyrunning Association will take place in Tinongdan, Itogon, Benguet

Pilipinas Akyathlon is the premier Skyrunning event in the Philippines. It is organized by the Philippine Skyrunning Association and the Local Governments of Tinongdan and Itogon according to the rules of the International Skyrunning Federation. It is also part of the Asia Trail Master Championship Series for 2018.

Runners will be privileged to run across rice fields, under a pine forest canopy, and over hanging bridges to cross the Agno River. Participants will share the trail with the local Ibaloi communities that reside on the mountain as well as their livestock.

2015 Pilipinas Akyathlon is happening on February 7, 2015. This is a 36-km out and back race starting from the barangay hall of Tinongdan, Itogon, Benguet.
