  3. I joined the Red Crab Run a few months back. The delicious breakfast ater the run with excellent service by very courteous waitresses and waiters was really a pleasant surprise. Mind you, this was no ordinary breakfast “picnic”. I was not alone in awe of the “fine-dining” table setup for the participants. What a pleasant surprise, indeed. I was expecting the free breakfast to be served in styrofoam packets and we would eat wherever. But after the race we were led to tables with black table-cloths, and even the chairs were dressed in black for us! We had excellent food served on real plated and stainless steel utensils. And with botomles iced tea and complete with dessert. After the run I said to myself I would definitely join subsequent ones.

    However, after persistent checking online for the race results everyday after the race for almost two months, no race results were released.

    What happened there? I even remember long after I finished the run, I approached the girl manning one of the laptops by the finish line to ask if I could possibly inquire about my official time as they had recorded it. I precisely made it a point to approach here when there were no runners coming in as I assumed there were very few runners remainig on the road at that time. And I asked her about it when I hadn’t seen any runners coming in for quite a while. I asked her very nicely if it would be possible for me to se my official time on her screen, if it would not be too much trouble for her. To my surprise, she took one look at me and without uttering a word just made a face like she didn’t want to be bothered.

    So I just said thank you, I guess not and walked away. I figured she wanted to concentrate on what she was doing. However, aftewr weeks of trying to get the official race results online to no avail, I guess they somehow managed to screw up the job.

    With good memories about the good run and the sumptious breakfast afterwards. I am thinking I would really like to join the next Red Crab Run. However, thinking about that unaccommodating race official at the finish line and the non-existent (Please, someone, tell me I am wrong about this!) or non-posted official race results, I am actually considering joining one of the other running events held on this same date.

    I will definitely decide on this within the next few days.. For all those already signed up, I hope you have a great run and that the post-race breakfast they serve is as good as the one they offered before. By the way, the race course was also a nice one with challenging hills (sa start pa lang, uphill na!).

    Good luck, everyone!

  4. Habaan naman ng konte mga sir.. Bka pwede nio po iupgrade ng hanggang 10k with the same price para mas marami pong runners ang sumali. Including my group.. Heheh…. Tnx for your consideration.

  5. @Dan:

    Race results for the Red Crab 5K run were posted at the Facebook fan page of The Red Crab a day after the event was done. The results are manually recorded by the race officials (as there as no timing chips nor bar codes on your race bibs).

    To help you find your results we have made them available at:
    https://www.withoutlimits.ph/race-result/race-titles/category/11-the-red-crab-5k-run-2012.html

    Thank you for your support and kind words, we take all comments and suggestions by our dear clients.

    @Zandro:

    Much as we would like to extend our race category there are many factors that we may forego if we would like to do that. (i.e. added manpower for marshalls, more water stations, hydration, traffic personnel, additional route management, additional road permit and closure, barricades, etc.) I don’t think anybody would like to have no marshalls or barricades on parts of the route. The quality of the race is more important to us as organizers.

  6. Hi Organizer,

    Is there a difference if you registered as Student only?. How about the food?. same lang ba ang kakainin, serving ng food for students and regular registrants?. Also, may assurance ba na may seats for every participants after the 5k Run?. thank you so much, hope we get the reply asap para makapag decide which run we will be joining. :)

  7. nkapag register nko sa CS MOA BIB #00076 :) itatanong ko lang kung ilang minutes ang kailangan para makakuha ng medal thanks.

  8. @beatmytime:

    The fiesta breakfast for students and regular registrants is the same. We have only made 2,000 slots for this fun run and they are guaranteed to have seats, medals, and food after the race.

    @GenX and JosephAIMSian:

    Thank you for registering and see you on race day!

    – The Without Limits Team

  9. Hi WithoutLimits – same pa rin ba ng breakfast nung Red Crab Run ung breakfast nyo for this run? Ilan na lang poh ang slots na open since sabe nyo 2000 slots lang ang meron for this event? Thanks.

  10. Nice! Meron palang race result!

    Nung nagregister kasi ako sa Red Crab nagtaka ako kung bakit walang barcode o timing chip.

    Sabi, wala daw talagang time kasi fun run lang talaga.

    Buti na lang meron pala!

  11. @Ninja:

    Salamat po sa pag-register!

    @Rachel Ramos Remo:

    There is a bar code on the race bib which will be used to record the time of the participants.
