  1. I have seen many Kenyans who have won in many cash prized running events in Metro Manila…..I wonder if they will be joining this benefit run for Africa though….no singlet, no loot bag and no cash prize. Hope to see them there.

  2. I guess the organizers want to get the most fund for their cause and minimizing the event cost will surely help, including not offering a singlet. I think this is not bad knowing where the fund will go.

I will run for Africa anyway, the run4life which the same organizers organized for two times are successful and I can see on their site where the raised funds are going.

Keep it up lifeline, kudos to your team!

  3. @rosen
this is a potentially great run too! good luck and have fun in this. pls take pics ha? a big number of the PF friends and myself are running for RU3 (Nov 12-13)…

  4. @rose ann and cb: walang singlet and lootbag pero may race bib and timing chip. Saw their registration booth at Miles for Smiles last Sunday.

    and yeah, just love! ♥

  5. wow this is s real run even without prize or loot bags. For me it doesn’t matter as long as i can help people in Africa. I’ll register na!

  6. @Ey: ung iba kse ginagawang collection ang singlet. Pero ok lng kahit walang singlet, imagine mo dito sa run na ‘to, ilang bata ang mabibigyan mo ng pagkain, yun ang mahalaga.

  7. This RUN is one of the most honorable run i will join, this will surely help the people in AFRICA, My friends and I will join here so that even when there are no singlets or prizes, it’s the thought that counts. :))

  8. @Adrian: No offense pare pero ikaw ang nagmukhang mayabang ang dating.I admit di ako makakasali sa run nila bcoz nakacommit na ako sa ilang tao sa isang run bago pa nabuo tong event pero still i believe in helping them in other ways. It wont make u lesser Filipino kung tutulong ka sa mga Africanong nangangailngan and besides di ka nmn pinipilit to join sana di ka na lng magsalita ng di maganda. We are free to join the race we want to join…we are free to speak the words we want to say pero sana be responsible.

    God Bless Philippines!
    God Bless our Planet! at
    God Bless you adrian!

  9. If there aren’t any singlets, why did they reserve one for me? :| is there an extra payment? i can only give 400. On my allowance, I won’t be able to afford it if the singlet would cost extra. —

During my registration on the 6th of November, I saw singlets. They asked what my size was, but they never mentioned a price.. Kind of confusing, eh?

  10. fyi. we at lifeline has been conducting several medical missions to Mindoro, Marinduque, Pampanga, Quezon, etc. We have a satellite school which is helping the street kids in Paranaque & Alabang. We have been helping fellow Filipinos for many years now. Helping Africa is just our second time compared to years of service to our countrymen. We also believe in Karma. What you do to others will come back to you!

  11. @REVX you probably got their “Free Run4Life singlets while supply lasts.” promo. They say that on their website and the invitation I received: https://www.alifelinetoafrica.org/rain4africa.php

You’re lucky, there’s still supply when you registered! :)

I believe this will gonna be another great run for a cause just like other events by lifeline foundation that’s why I’ll join this. Plus I know my 400 though not enough will at least reach some hungry stomach.

All I can say to those selfish morons who all they got to do is criticize and don’t even know how to help themselves… ulol!yabang…mgA climbers!!!LOLS!!!!
Yes I’m talking to you adrian! peace! :)

  12. tatakbo ako dito…..mas [i[iliin ko toh kesa dun sa mga run na sobrang daming tao at ang purpose at cause ng run is for funding their own benefits….atleast dito alam ko kung anong dahilan ng paktakbo ko…..
