Run for your LIBs: The Race against Illiteracy is an initiative to combat illiteracy through improvement of one of the important centers of learning — libraries. It aims to promote the value of the library as the fundamental unit in establishing a literate society.

KabataRUN will be held on August 26, 2012 at the UP Academic Oval. This charity run for the Balay Aklatan (Library Building Project) and Handog Ngiti (Charity Event for Cancer Patients), two of the primary beneficiary projects of UP PRIME.
