The Samar Runners Club will be conducting a 72.5km Ultramarathon on December 7, 2014 from Catbalogan City to Calbayog City. To be able to join the race, a runner must have completed (at least) 1 or more 50km distance within the last 6 months.

50/50 Ultramarathon 2014 will be held on May 18, 2014 in Catbalogan City, Samar a 5KM run from Catbalogan to Buray back to Catbalogan.
