some of us are planning to attend the CAMSUR Marathon this Sept 25. would be nice
for you to be there too coz a lot of peeps have said its a diff feel when you do an out of town run esp at CamSur.
there is a lil sightseeing before the race that we also plan to do.

yes yes @Krasni. thats what our group is going to do. arrive at CAMSUR on Sept 22 via Zest Air and stay there until the 26th. so there is time to do Caramoan or Calaguas before the marathon. ive got friends who organizes tours there. makes it an advantage to arrange for the boat rides too.

My favorite venue for running 1) our village and 2)SM MOA.
First, our village because this is where everything started for me.
Second, SM MOA because I've already done two 5Ks there. It's fun, safe, and more accessible to me. :)

Have anyone tried running at c6 road? yun po yung venue nung Merell Run,
2 yung route dun going to Timberland Heights sa San Mateo Rizal, yung c6 road na shorter route, 2km+ of uphill and yung longer route, 9km+ of uphill, downhill, and trail and inside Timberland Heights hanggang dun sa other end nung shorter route. must try po, hehe
My favorite race route will be the 2008 Champion run that was held around the Marikina River. This was the time when Rio dela Cruz is still starting with race organizing. Also in UP Diliman. I wish there will be more races there again.

1. Mc Kinley Hill - first fun run na sinalihan namin ni gf..and it all started there. <3
2. Nuvali or should I say, Sta.Rosa City/Greenfield City/Tagaytay Road route
3. Our own Village/Subvidivision Main Road route (though not a race venue/site)
I use to practice and workout in UP-Oval, the trees and fresh-air makes you run more. I do want to run in different place as well and im glad i saw this forum that BGC could be my next training ground. Any suggestion or route sa BGC, does anybody use runkeeper.com so we may view the course in BGC. thanks.

Hi Sir, i suggest any route in BGC wag ka lang dumikit sa Serendra/Market2 Oval. You may find yourself running in a mall though outside of it :)
Marami spot sa BGC na you can much appreciate your practice na hindi crowded masyado, but lots of trees and fresh-air :)

my good friend and officemate Claire who's a runner too, has laid our plans to
conduct a simulation run at BGC esp when there is a race approaching. if we
were to run for a 10K, we will take the 5K route twice since thats very convenient
and we're already very familiar where to make our turns!
i was overwhelmed by the coverage of the 10K route and would love to do it
again and again! going back there for the MILO Elims! and chances are, the route
for 10K then is still quite the same...

Of all the races I've joined so far, the best route was in the island of Corregidor. Scenic ruins, good roads, beautiful trails, view of the sea, and KILLER uphills. If there's another race this December, I'd encourage everyone to come. For me, sulit yung experience. Pwede pa kayo magzipline at maghistorical tour before or after the event. :)

based on my quick look up, Irangels, this year's Corregidor Intl Half Marathon is
slated for Dec 10 2011. and then we will have MILO's Finals the following day, Dec 11.
a goood luck to all participants of both events! hehe!
i want to try the Corregidor challenge. ive been there this year last summer, spent
overnight to really enjoy the island, which i immensely did and when i heard half
mary's are done there, wow, i dont want to pass for the next chance to also run
and participate.
can your tight schedule still acommodate this event?
Oh bummer! I cannot join either the Corregidor or the Milo run as I won't be in Manila till the 18th for the holidays. Besides, I think it's pretty tight, schedule wise, for me kasi I have the Hot Chocolate 15k on December 3rd (obviously my goal is the free chocolates... hehehe...), which will likely be my last race for the 2011 season.
