As some may already know that not only I enjoy endurance sports like running, I am an avid foodie. I like sampling different cuisines from other countries and from other chefs or from various restaurants.
When preparing for races, I tend to be very disciplined with my food in-take to get my body ready and perform well during a race especially if it's more than 10-miles.
Once the race is over, just like Manny Pacquiao, I tend to munch on something greasy or should I say "unhealthy". A lot of times, I tend to look for a big, juicy, and greasy bacon cheeseburger. No!, not the one from Wendy's but on places that specializes on those areas. Like Shake-Shack in NY and Army-Navy Burger in Manila.
There is that one time after I ran the Adidas KOTR in 2010, I just set my sights on a crispy pata and lots of rice with tuna-belly and sizzling sisig at Gerry's. I think natakot yung waiter sa amin because of the amount food we ordered, and much of it are mine... hehehe...
Kayo? What's your favorite post race dish? Is it a healthy one or something to pleasure your guilt? Share it here because this is definitely a good topic. Hmmmm... why don't we start with MsMars?
