Anyone who will join the 2nd Avenue Earth Run Manila 2011???

Guys, i'm inviting you all to join this event on August 28, 2011 to be held at Bonifacio Global City.

This is for a good cause as the chosen beneficiary will be Greenpeace, "an international environmental organization that acts to change attitudes and behavior, to protect and conserve the environment and to promote peace."

Race kit includes of a dri-fit shirt, RFID shoe tag and race bib belt.

My friend who works on ETC is one of the organizers of this event. I'll just promote it here to invite fellow runners to join in this cause-worthy event.

I will be running 10K here as I've already promised her. Lol. :p

Thurs Run Grp! thanks also to Ms Joanne Pecson, of Solar Ent. nice meeting
you too last night! tis really a great and worthy run on its 3rd year, since
Greenpeace is a beneficiary. so i may be able to run here as well. got the
dri fit shirt already! fits perfect! wohooo!

this upcoming event is already included at PF's events line up and goes
head to head with Ateneo's Run and Spark and 2 more run events! what
another busy Sunday! so im sure that a good number of PF peeps will also
run here for sure!

lets go go go for Mother Nature, peeps!

P.S. acdg to the Organizers, there is also a Finisher's Medal
to all runners for 21K. the design and other details will be
released within week.

i know pareho naman good cause yun kaya i really dnt mind. ang isinali ko dun pagtakbo at pagtulong (naks!!!) at wapakels naman ako sa mga konyohan nila pero nakakailang lang kasi laking bundok ako at tumira sa tondo at nagaral sa pang masa (dati) na unibersidad kaya di ako sanay sa konyohan..hahaha..

@edrick: naku, i already promised my friend to run here eh. sabay pa kasi sila ng ateneo run pero gusto ko rin sna dun kasi may finisher's medal lahat ng categories. i'll be running 10K uli here, my 4th. am i ready for 21K? haha, baka mag 16K muna ako. :p

sabay ka sa progression ko, hehe, after this event level up tayo sa Tiktakbo 4 (15k) or Run Rizal (16k), then sa December na tayo 21k, either sa QCIM or Milo Finals, hehe
