Full IRONMAN will happen in Cebu in 2018
In a recent CNN Philippines interview, DOT Secretary Wanda Teo confirms that they are working together with the IRONMAN triathlon brand to host a FULL (140.6) Ironman Race next year in Cebu.
Last year in a media event, Wilfred Uytengsu of Sunrise Events, the Philippine organizer of Ironman races also mentioned that they have seen the rapid growth of triathlon in the Philippines, and it is just a matter of being able to find the right infrastructure with a good location to hold the event, and Cebu seems to be the best candidate for this race.
Now it seems that together with the support of the Department of Tourism a Full Ironman will really happen in 2018. The question is, are you ready for it?
