The Boston Marathon is well known as one of the biggest marathons in the world. This year, the race covered 26 miles and 385 yards of hilly and flat terrain. The race started in Hopkinton, which is located to the west-south-west of Boston on route to the east side of Boston specifically to Ashland, Framingham, Natick and Wellesley.
Once in the East, the route continued to Comm Ave through the four Newton Hills and finished in Copley Square, Boston’s famous public library. Kuya Kim, who recently just turned 50 years old, claimed that this was the best race he has ever participated in. After successfully finishing the New York marathon last November, Atienza mentioned on Instagram how big the Boston Marathon race was for him prior to the event.
Tomorrow shall be the most important marathon I'll ever run. I leave it all up to you dear Lord. Please give all of us a fast, safe and fun race. May every step be for your glory. May we cross the finish line saying You are a great God! #bostonmarathon2017 #beboston #nordictrack #chrissports #adidas #rudyprojectph #garminph
After finishing the race, the weatherman then took to Instagram to express his triumphant finish. Atienza mentioned how grateful he was for the support of his family in what he exclaimed as the best race ever.
