But apart from enjoying the food and the scenic views, there’s a whole new physically-rewarding way to explore the country’s first ever vineyard resort township community, and it’s by riding a mountain bike.Twin Lakes’ Mountain Bike Trail (MBT) is an all-new off-road track for mountain bike riders and enthusiasts looking for new and fresh challenges to test their endurance and bike skills.

A 2.5 kilometer-long loop, the trail promises to turn one’s next bike ride into a thrilling adventure as it takes riders deep into the lush forest, from the mountain top where Twin Lakes’ establishments are situated up until the foothills going to Taal Lake.

The new trail at the Megaworld-owned development guarantees to put bikers’ riding skills to test as they need to tackle a narrow and often bumpy path that runs between bushes and trees all throughout the track.

It also offers all sorts of off-road cycling challenges from fast downhill descents, berms, off camber turns, switchbacks, short and steep climbs and small bumps to swooping curves and sudden elevation changes, making it suitable for both beginners and advanced riders.

Also located within the trail are stopovers where riders can rest while enjoying the cool breeze and scenic views of Taal Lake. Aside from a challenging trail, Twin Lakes’ Mountain Bike Trail also offers amenities and conveniences that are uncommon to most mountain bike trails, from free parking spaces to a variety of restaurants offering delectable dining options and refreshments, and a perfect place for an after-ride respite just before heading back to the city.

Bike enthusiasts looking to visit the bike trail has two options going to Twin Lakes. Those using Cavitex, may head straight to Antero Soriano Highway after their exit, then turn left to General Trias Drive, then turn right to Governor Ferrer Drive, take another right turn to Mahogany Avenue before turning left to Tagaytay Nasugbu Highway.

Meanwhile, those coming from Tagaytay – Sta.Rosa Road can turn right to Tolentino East Tagaytay Road and head straight to Buho-Talon Road, then turn left to C. Delos Reyes Ave. and then make a right turn to Tagaytay-Nasugbu Road.
