PHRS Boracay Beach Volleyball Open Season 3 is bigger than ever! Play Hard and Party Even Harder!
Gear up for the largest and most exhilarating beach volleyball tournament in Boracay this Nov 2014! In promotion of fitness and sustainable tourism, Philippine Hotel Reservations Service (PHRS)has been bringing together around 100 players from all over the world to play at this prestigious volleyball event for the past three years.
The much-awaited 3rd season of the PHRS Boracay Beach Volleyball Open (BBVO) will take place in the private and luxurious beach cove property of Sol Marina Resort Boracay on November 21 – 23, 2014.
Endorsed by the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC), Progressive Volleyball Center (PVC), Philippine Beach Volleyball Association (PBVA) and the Province of Aklan, PHRS aims to highlight the love for sport with its desire to promote Boracay as still the #1 vacation destination in the Philippines.
According to Lila Rosenberger, CEO of PHRS, “It is still our aim for the 3rd season of BBVO to promote an active lifestyle that would bring us a more positive outlook in life. Destinations like Boracay serve as a perfect backdrop to help advocate not only environmental awareness but more importantly its role as a catalyst in people’s desire to be physically fit. After all, what better place is there in the world to showcase beach volleyball, than Boracay?”
The tournament will consist of four (4) Divisions: the Men’s Philippine Beach Cup (Advanced Players), Men’s Fun Cup,PAL Holidays Mixed Quattro Cup and the very first Women’s Fun Cup. BBVO is open to both leisure and competitive volleyball aficionados as long as they are 18 years of age!
Registration fees are PHP USD 50 for International Players, PHP 1,000 for Filipino Players, PHP 500 for Boracay Residents and 50% off the 2nd Tournament Price for Cross Registration Players wanting to play on two (2) Divisions. PHRS has also come up with All-Inclusive Play Packages which includes the Registration Fee for 3 Days of Play, Hotel Accommodations, Flight, Player’s Shirt, Welcome Dinner Buffet and Beach Party at Sol Marina, Free Scheduled Hotel Shuttle from D’Mall, BBVO Baller to get freebies, player’s drinks, and goodies plus entry to exclusive parties and events.
