  1. all in all the race is great. sapat na hydration, challenging route, di lang isa ambulance, fun activity area. minor flaws: di masyadong nag cheer / motivate mga marshalls at ang tagal mag distribute ng loot bag hehehe sabagay marami naman kasi talagang runners.

curious lang ako dun sa nakita ko na 12K na guy runner na may ni-piggy ride na girl habang tumatakbo. Di ko alam kung nahilo ba yun o nagpapa cute lang sila. LOL.

  2. ako rin curios . . . why is it when you cross finish line . . . . eh start ang nakalagay at nakatalikod ang timer . . . hahaha

    • it’s for the camera.. pag kinuhaan ka ng photo when you cross the finish line, nakaharap sa camera ang FINISH at may timer pa.. usually dapat back-to-back ang timer para makita din ng runner in approaching the finish line ;)

  3. considerably organized, yung ibang mga runnners nga lang ay makalat pa rin sa kalye. nakalimutan yata yung purpose ng event.

  4. registration: mura at maganda singlet!

race route: ok naman.. masangsang lang sa may HK Plaza
marshalls: although visible sila, should have had some signs (arrows of this way, or 8K 12K <— you can do PUSH mo yan!) para kahit malayo alam na kung saan dadaan at nakatayo lang naman sila most of the time
traffic police : visible silang nag bantay ng intersection
portalet: parang wala akong nakita sa Roxas blvd
ambulance, first aid station: parang d ko na pansin sa route.. sna sa me turn around meron isa kasama ng mga namimigay ng yarns

garmin at ipad mini yung raffle ang saya saya!

  5. like others say it was indeed a fun and meaningful run. my only concern is the loot bag claiming. sobrang tagal ng pila. na uubos ung nandun sa station.nakikita naming unti unti inuunload from truck. iniisip tuloy namin kung late ung dating o inuunti unti lang talaga ung labas.

ung start/finish line nga baliktad hahaha

kudos for those who run barefoot. ang dami!!

  6. Isa sa pinakasulit at pinakamakabuluhang running event na nasalihan ko, san ka pa ba maghahanap ng worth P250 (P150 if you’re a student) at makakatakbo ka na ng 12km, may loot bag at ok na shirt pang kasama? All in all, I’d say it’s an organized event, considering sobrang dami ng tao talaga, they were still able to maintain the order kahit matagal ang bigay ng loot or hydration(pocari sweat booth) ayos lang. Keep in mind na hindi ito big time na running organizer like Runrio.. hehe just saying, so good job! Sana marami pang ganitong event na makabuluhan at the same time ma-encourage ang mga runners and non-runners to participate. More power to the running community! :)

  7. Sharing my race experience

#R3Run had more than 10,000 runners sending a message on the importance of the 3Rs which is Reuse, Reduce and Recycle. A big cheers to Quanta Paper Corporation for bringing a feel-good run at a cost that’s practically a giveaway since it had a lot giveaway for all runners. It was a fast and flat course that also gave us the bay side view of Roxas Boulevard on an early Sunday morning.”

  8. Bloggers and everyone, share us your thoughts about the R3RUN . . . We love to hear your comments and we’re always open in improving ourselves.

  9. Good Day To All! I just would like to report that my cousin Charles Bitoon joined R3Run running event last Sunday and fortunate enough he able to finished the race in the 12K category in 50:02. In the released race results…the 3rd place in the 12K men’s division finished 50:28. My cousin should have won 3rd place. I hope the R3Run organizer should do pay attention to this matter. The organizer should grant the price to the rightful winner.

  10. MABUHAY ANG RERUN!!! NATAPOS KO ANG BUONG ROUTE NG HINDI HUMIHINTO…. GO BAREFOOT…!! NEXT YEAR PO ULET RERUN LOOKING FORWARD SA 21k.. GOD BLESS AND MORE POWER..

#R3RUN participants – some are wondering if the Start/ Finish label facing was mistaken. The arc facing was based on how you would take photograph of the crowd or of the departing/ arriving runners. A photograph of someone approaching the finish arc must display a “Finish” label and so the other way around.
